Tam stops and turns on him, the anger behind his eyes flaring savagely. "And how's that to help? I can be with him for 1/2 an hour and then... then what? what am I supposed to do then... keep yer false cure, Kerobian... it's not going to help..." He stomps off to the waters edge and sits down danging his feet in the cool liquid, hoping it will help him cool his temper.

Tam buries his face in his hands and begins to weep. "God of Us All, I want to Kerobian... I do... I just can't see how..." His shoulders shake with his silent sobs. Kerobian seems to have unlocked a flood gave somewhere.

"Here? Now? I.. I.. don't know... I... I'm not ready... what would I say to him... how would I approach him after all these years of chasing him away... How?"

Tam's face is an open window into his soul right now and Kerobian can see how terribly the young angel wants this and how frightened he is of it's consequences.

Tam nods hesitantly, "All I have to do is apologize?" He gives a soft troubled laugh. "Yeah, as if he'll believe me. I've nothing to apologize for, Kerobian... he used me, not the other way around. He used my love for him to launch an attack on the all-father... almost got me killed... some of us were ye know... wiped from existence... as though we never were..." he shudders at the thought and hangs his head. "Still..."

Tam walks about the clearing for a bit, steeling his nerves. He hasn't called out to Bez in so long, he really isn't certain the angel of smoke and shadows will listen when he does. But after a bit he inhales deeply and sends out a call only his soul-mate can hear. And while he waits he stares out over the water, wondering if he is a fool for even wanting this so much.

"Bez... please... come.. I... I... need you...."

Tears roll unheeded down his cheeks and he stands there braced for failure.

Tam feels Bez's presence almost instantly and turns to face him. "Bez..." he whispers awkwardly. He takes a step forward then stops at the sight of Bez's frown. "Forgive me... " he stammers suddenly afraid. "I... I shouldn't have... I..." he can't stop crying, the tears flowing like twin rivers down his cheeks.

Seeing this, Bez's frown softens and he steps forward. "Tam, dulcha... what's wrong?" he begs and for the first time in eons the word falls from his lips as a caress which only upsets Tam even more. Bez pulls him into his arms, his earthly disguise falling away as he does so until there stands two angels one moon bright, the other bathed in smokey shadows and Kerobian begins to realize the folly of his plan. If Tam cannot maintain his earthly form in the void, neither can Bez, but it doesn't seem to matter as Bez lift's Tam's chin and kisses him deeply, folding them both in his wings.

"What's that?" asks Bez running hs hand along Tam's arm down towards his wrist.

Tam buries his face in Bez's chest and sighs. "Nothing important. Nothing important at all." he whispers letting the orb drop to the ground, where it shatters enveloping them both in fumes.

"What the heck?" cries Bez in alarm as Tam holds him close.
