**forgot something, didn't you.... we left in small preditors, those not immediately dangerous, to teach Luna.... sighs the northern spirit**
Tes lifts a hand to his cheek, a silent promise,which is soon interrupted by a ebony bundle of energy.
"We gots wots of fiwsh, Mama.... wots and wots.... I gots you sum...." cries the tiny dragon, dropping a rather large bass down into her lap.

Kero smiles at the look on Tes's face. As much as his wife loves fish, he doubted she wanted a dead bass sliming her lap. And so he quickly snatches it up and laughs, heading over to a darker corner and setting up the tools of any cooks trade. He quickly builds a proper stove and pulls out his frying pans with which to cook their evening meal.
"Yes indeed, Luna. You did in fact catch a lot of fish. Now it is time to cook them so that everyone can enjoy them. Would you like to help me?"
Probably a stupid question, but Kero feels that he needs to attend to his little girl.

**LOL**
Luna is on his shoulder in a flash, peering eagerly down at what he's doing. She loves helping her Daddy in the kitchen and he hasn't let her do so since a rather large stack of dishes got knocked over in the galley, nearly braining them both. The trouble with Luna in a kitchen is she far too energetic and tries to do too much at once.

Kero nods, and sets Luna doing one thing. And ONLY one thing. Fpr now, he starts in on doing most of the other stuff for preparing the fish.

**and that one thing was???? Ah, well, you didn't say... and let's just say the job is done, just not as neatly as you'd normally want it...**
Luna quickly finishes her task, at ludricous speed, and is soon back to see what else she can do. Twining herself about his feet like a cat, she pesters him to let her help.
"Whacha doin, Daddy... Ken I hewp? Huh? Huh? Ken I?"

Shaking his head, Kero entertains her as he cooks, setting her small tasks, like fetching an orange he conjures ten feet away, and little things like that. He could easily have retrieved them, it was true, but he preferred to have Luna get them, if only to get her out of his hair, literally in some cases.

Feeling rather proud of herself, Luna attends to her chores with a seriousness that is both cute and endearing. She really loves to work in the kitchen. And true some of the stuff she accomplishes is a bit backward, some only half finished, but she does her best to do whatever he tells her to do.

Finally...FINALLY...Supper is finished for the three of them, and Kero conjures a small table for them to eat off of. Roasted fish, some nice carrots (Luna turns up her nose, for they are boiled), and a creamy risotto. It is a meal fit for a king, made even more so by the fact that it is a family meal, to be shared with the ones one loves.

Luna lands on the edge of the table and eyes her plate with a jaundice eye. The fish she knows will taste good, but those orange sticks don't even have their customary glaze. How is she to enjoy her dinner if she has to eat those as well?
She toes a carrot carefully then thinks of an idea. Nibbling on the edge of one, she allows a tiny drop of acid to fall on the rest. It had done a fairly good job of getting rid of some things in the lagoon. Surely it would work here as well.
(can't blame her for trying ye know.... LOL)

The carrot dissolves, leaving nothing more than a bit that makes it look as though Luna had scarfed the entire blasted thing.

Grinning from ear to ear, she tries it again, on another one, causing it to disappear as well. Without thinking she finishes off all her carrots, without her usual litany of complaints, then dives in on her fish, happy as a lark.

Kero knew something was off when she ate all her carrots, but knowing that his suspicious nature had caused problems before, he decides to give her the benefit of the doubt. After supper he goes and helps her clean up, talking with the little lady as Tes feeds the little gentleman.
"So how did you like dinner, Luna? I saw you ate your carrots tonight, and I'm very proud of you. You didn't even complain, and they all disappeared. Do you like carrots now?"

Now Luna feels bad. She's made her Daddy proud of her and she really didn't do what he thinks she did. "I makes dem disasper.... yeah..." she whispers sadly.
