Bleargh... Unfortunately, I really don't know enough yet to hold a conversation. Fortunately, I'm taking Japanese conversation this semester. *nod nod*

Yeah, I can't hold a long conversation either. All we learned last year was basic conversation greetings, mostly used for the work place. You really don't realize how little Japanese you know until you go to Japan and try to carry on a conversation. sweatdrop

Believe me, that is so true. I found out I know less than a 2 year old.

Like seriously, a pre-schooler could easily open a can of whoop a** all over me.

Well the cool thing is that my Japanese professor lived in Japan for three years, so I'll have a pretty decent conersation partner. xd

Yeah, my sensai grew up in Japan. The only problem about that is that she's teaching us the Japanese she grew up with, so we're learning pretty old school Japanese. But at least it's a strong basis to grow on. sweatdrop xp

My level of speaking/reading is probobaly that of a six month old child, which is kind depressing.

Speaking of depressing, Depresso has to be the best coffee name in Japan. xd

And Pachinko! Everywhere I went there was Pachinko!

@Neit- I wouldn't doubt that it would, but it's nothing compared to walking down the streets hearing people speeking...what basicly sounds like giberish while seeing signs filled with kanji you've never seen before in you life. gonk
