I'm reading the last book in Mary Ann Mitchell's Marquis de Sade vampire series. Actually I'm glad it's coming to an end so I can stop obsessing and indulge in other reading materials. Overdose of vampires!

All my books have been put on hold so I can read 'Hello, I Must Be Going. Groucho and His Friends' by Charlotte Chandler.
My best friend Will gave me that and a book full of letters to and from Groucho Marx for x-mas.
Best presents ever.

I found the complete works of Oscar Wilde at Barnes and Nobel on Saturday. It was only $20, so I bought it.
I'm currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray... all I can say about it is that Wilde's writing is amazing! whee

I read, and I'm proud of it. I'm a Neil Gaiman uber-fangirl, and I love H.P. Lovecraft and Ray Bradbury as well. These days I'm readin China Mieville's Looking for Jake and other stories, which is absolutely awesome. I'm the geeky type, I love school.

I read...a lot... eek 3nodding
Currently, I'm reading 5 different books...I never read books one at a time, excluding manga, of course...
Currently reading: Oryx and Crake, by Margret Atwood Diary, by Chuck Palahniuk Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury Vinyl Cafe Diaries, by Stuart McLean and Plato and a Platypus Walk into a Bar, by Thomas Cathcart & Daniel Klein
My favorite genre is satire, but I really love dystopic novels. I also read a lot of nonfiction...

i love to read all the time it is one of my favorite passtimes. as far as knowing an intelligent, school liking goth, i am one and i know a few who are intelligent about many subjects but they dont exactly like school. and as far as an instrument, i play a type of gailic ceremonial drum called the bodhran. my dad taught me how to play it when i was 5 and i have been practicing ever since. for those who dont know what it is, a bodhran is a hand drum made from a long strip of tree bark curved into a circle and with a piece of sheep skin stretched over it. it is really fun to play.

Has anyone read about the Necronomicon? As far as I've heard it was written by that Lovecraft dude but people think it's a real skin-bound book of super evil. Wassup with that?

They really think it is skin-bound. That makes me laugh.
But for now I'm reading my book for my bio class for a project called 6 deadly plagues and how we are causing them.
