I'm not planning on having kids anyway. But i would love to do so.
My mom dressed us goth sometimes (she's Goth), She ended up with a goth and a Metalhead (Good Job).
It would disappoint me a bit if they turn out the princess kind of girls with a lot of pink and lip gloss (which is probably what will happen).
Kids aren't on my list anyway.

No I would only dress them gothic if they wanted to be dressed like tht i believe individuality is your own choice if my kid wanted to wear trackies id let them its their choice.

i want two to three children.
i would dress them semi-gothic when they were too young to care about clothes (ex. black dresses, a black skirt here and there, black shirts)
i would always brighten it up a little with other styles and when they got older i would let them choose what they wanted to wear.

I hope my kids are hard-core goth, so that my boys'll take care of their younger siblings, and my girls will cut up any guy gettin' too friendly. Yup, that's me dream.

My opinion on the matter is that they should make the decision for themself. However it wouldnt hurt for them to see the side of the goth so they can see how funny so called normal people really are.
