Doran let out a small sigh as he looked around at the few cages that were empty. When will I leave this place? I want the city... He thought longingly with another sigh. The depressed foxling sat on his cot, bored out of his mind. "There's gotta be a way out of here..." He murmured and once again looked over his cage, trying to find a weakness, anything at all, that might help him escape. Doran didn't want to stay there forever. In fact, he didn't want to stay there at all.

Alex shrugged. "You'll get there soon enough." he said simply. Alex watched as Lazer expanded, then compacted the water, before returning it to his hand. Releasing his hold on the water, Alex watched as he walked over to a rock.

Alex smirked. "Sounds like it could be fun." Alex said. He walked over to the rock, picking up a three-section staff, as well as a shoto, which he slipped into his belt. He walked back to the center, positioning himself a few feet away from Lazer. Holding the two ends of the three-section staff, Alex bent his right knee, putting his left leg out in front of him a bit, while holding the two end pieces of the staff out in front of him. "I won't need psychokinesis." Alex said confidently, an eerie aura of excitement about him.

Lazer smirked, bringing both curved knives up, holding them with the blades out and trailing down his forearms. "Well, I'll try not to hurt you too badly. If you kill me, you can have my mansion." he said with a laugh, though was rather serious. He didn't expect to get hurt bad though, so he thought nothing of it.

Without another word, he leapt forward, engaging in what he called "The Style of a Thousand Cuts". His knives flew every-which way, flurrying at every available exposed spot on Alex's body. This was just the start though, he planned on making it better.

Lazer smirked, spinning to meet his adversary's attack. His left knife caught the blow to his head, the right knife catching the low blow. Instead of bringing his knives up, he pivotted on his left foot, striking out hard at Alex's exposed chest. As he did so, he threw off the double djong-djebong, (that'd be the thing you're using) throwing his arms out to stab at both of his arms, attempting to dissarm him. To end he dropped into a crouch, spinning his leg around to strike at Alex's legs, trying to trip hima nd leave him volnurable.

Lazer growled, dragging the impedded knives down Alex's forearms as he was thrown off balance. He twisted around, trying to free his foot, but instead falling back on his back, wincing as his knee twisted slightly. Without thinking, he took the knife in his right hand, throwing it straight at Alex's stomach instead of trying to get up. The knife in his left hand, he flipped to his right, putting it up defensively.

Lazer cursed, bringing the blade up to block it, yet knowing it wouldn't hold against the power of his opponant's weapon. He moved his head to the side, shifting his body to the right at the last moment. The djong-djebong collided with his dagger, hitting it aside like a fly and smashing into Lazer's chest and shoulder. A loud crack signalled the breaking of his left shoulder and rib. He gasped, rolling to the side and throwing the blunt weapon off of him as he rose to his feet, breathing heavily.

His left side sagging, arm hanging uselessly, he rushed foreward, slashing twice at his apponants' side and side of his neck. 'Ahg...This pain in my side constricts my breathing and slows my movements...I don't have too much longer...'

Before he heard Iones' voice behind the door, he heard some shuffling around and rumaging. As he heard her speak, he took a deep breath, cracking the door open slightly to peer inside with one eye. The first thing Zhin saw were the curtains, waving back and forth slightly as if they'd just been drawn. Pushing forward on the door, he stepped into the room, blinking over at Ione with a nervous smile. "Sorry I took so long, the hot water's rather enticing."

Still smiling in a sheepish fashion, Shrian looked around the room quickly, noting it mentally if he ever needed to do something inside. His gaze quickly fell back to Ione, though, his elongated pupils retracting to their catlike form in the light. His emerald eyes glimmered as he spoke, calm voice smooth as ever. "Thank you for letting me wash up, by the way. Is there anything you'd like me to do, now?" he asked slowly, wondering what kind of work was in store for him.
