Siani I still don't know what those are... Curse my lack of interest in Anime... Kitsune masks didn't originate from anime. They are a part of japanese culture and folklore. Kitsune masks symbolize the messanger (The trickster fox) of Oinari, the god of rice, and are often worn during japanese festivals.

's kinda sad actually since I'm all interested in history and such.
