The people re-entered the hall and when they did they were in awe of the whole situation and there was a gasp of amazement and Joan squealed in delight at hte whole affair and everyone began to laugh and enter and talk as if nothing had happened for they were not worry about him and everyone began to dance and some began to play music and there was eating and merry-making for the entirety of the evening,"Thank you Loki for the lovely affair", said joan with delight and tears of joy,"I could have never imagined anything more beautiful or grand", she told him; Anne nodded smiling,"I couldn't either", she said turning to loki with happiness.

The women talked among themselves as joan's mother approached,"We will stay here and join you lord loki", she said,"For only a god could preform such stunts we are widowed and our daughters serve you so we will stay here until our dying days", the women nodded and bowed to him before turning to take care of the feast Anne smiled she was glad they would have more help around the castle though it would be more manageable once loki's people built in the spring it was still nice to have help and anne was sure they would have plenty of food starting the new year next. for now they would remain having full bellies this coming winter thanks to the gods help. Anne wondered what gift that loki was giving joan but decided not to pry as she smiled at her over excited friend as her and noah would leave tomorrow morning tonight they got to spend there first night together and anne remembered her first night with loki well over a few weeks prior to this whole arrangement her face flushed... at the memory as she felt herself dazzled still by the loving embrace of him.

"I think that is a good idea my lord", she whispered to him smiling as she danced with him,"It causes me pain to be away from your company for long..", she told him...

Later that night they walked up the stairs to there room as Anne stood before the fireplace wrapped in loki's warm embrace as she kissed him,"I felt.. jealous today...", she confessed resting her forehead against his broad chest and sighing,"I felt jealous for a split moment and then it faded away... we were told our emotions were sinful... we were told our feelings are bad..", she whispered,"I know you and I are just a pipe dream that won't last forever but sometimes I wish it would", she whispered to him holding him closer.

"What we were taught in church loki.. what we were made to do... we are taught to not feel such negative emotions for they are sinful in God's eyes", she gazed up into his eyes and began to cry silent tears,"Loki.. you have lived over a thousand human life times and I only have one to give to you...", her bottom lip trembled as her emotions mounted painfully,"This one life I give to you... I would never take back but my love we both know it wont last forever..", she closed her eyes and knelt her head holding him,"I'm going to die one day loki and there isn't anything either of us can do about it.. we can't stop time from taking me away from you...", she whispered.

Anne looked up at him horrified,"But.. loki I could never...", she said finding herself trembling,"I can't let you do that...", she said turning away finding herself freezing in fear,"How can a god give up his powers? is that even possible?", she asked feeling herself turning pale and sick with fear she moved to the bed and lay down onto it,"Let us.. not discuss these things.. let us wait for a later time...", she said trying to change the subject.

Anne eventually found herself calming at his presence as they lay there she remembered the time he saved her life before she saw death he pulled her back into the living world.. sometimes she seen that after this as paradise but knew it couldn't be true considering that something bad was going to happen eventually. Turning to him she snuggled closer planting soft kisses on his face,"I want you happy", she whispered.....

The next morning after they lay there unclothed in one anothers arms anne felt the heat of the morning sun and bolted straight up,"I'll be late!", she squeaked seeing it was about an hour past dawn she rarely slept in so late! She ran about and got dressed and rushed out saying,"See you downstairs dear", before she could get another breathe in.

Joan smiled and nodded to him,"It was thank you Lord Loki the whole castle is helping us prepare to leave for Norway a few others are leaving as well to visit family and to see loved ones we will return around Christmas", she promised turning to anne who came up holding a mass of blankets in her arms,"Be sure to take plenty of wool blankets it will be cold this winter", she warned her friend running out as she went to find a wooden chest to put them in.

Anne and the girls and joan's mother all waved her off to the ship and there was tears and goodbyes as everyone began to board and as anne watched her friend sail off to a new country she felt her heart turn back to the castle as she prepared her trip with loki... A few hours later she was cloaked and saddled up ready to ride out she would be riding horses with him since it was faster than a carriage she wished to get to England by the end of the night and was possible if she rushed across the way...
