She knew that she was going to wear herself out on sensory jutsu and needed to move on to other things, but from what she was reading; there was one more that she wanted to learn. She stood against the wall and used 2 one handed seals and placed her palm against the wall. She began to feel a vibration coming from the wall and moved away from it. The wall to her seemed to glow with a faint light and disperse. She held the one handed seal and began to attempt to gather information from it, though the wall itself was in poor condition; her sense were telling her that there was literally nothing there. She was happy to think that she was making progress in her own shinobi life.

She walked to the wall of jutsu and looked it over, she wanted to enhance her elemental ninjutsu. She looked the wall over and took 3 scrolls from it and returned to her small section of the academy. With everything that had been happening in Arashi over the last few days... she wanted to be prepared. She opened one of the scrolls and carefully looked it over. It was a Raiton Jutsu, it was like the Raiton Chakra that she had see shinobi use before but in a smaller fashion. She practiced the handsigns to make sure that she wasn’t going to accidentally shock herself. Applying the necessary chakra, she stood in an offensive stance and listened as the Raiton Chakra crackled and sparked around her. The technique was to catch anyone that was trying to strike her up close and the minute she moved; the technique dispersed.
Heki no Jutsu [ Burst Technique ] - Learned
Sheva wrapped up the scroll and picked up the second, taking a moment to read over the label of the scroll. Though her confidence was growing, she wanted to be careful how she approached her elemental jutsu. Unwrapping the scroll she saw that it was a slight projectile attack; she carefully read over the scroll and placed it on the ground. Though she was the only one here right now, she wanted to make sure that she was giving herself enough space. She wove the handsigns and ended it in the Ram sign. She felt the Raiton Chakra surge through her and thrusted her hand in front of her. There was a strong arch and burst, she quickly withdrew her hand and there was a slight steam coming from it.

Sheva wrapped the second scroll and moved onto the third and final scroll that she took from the wall of jutsu, she wanted to be well learned or at least learn enough that she would be able to properly able to defend herself. She Opened it and placed it on the ground, it was another Raiton technique but this one seemed more like crafting and molding chakra into a more physical form. She read over the technique and took her time to study it, thought this technique was going to intently make her faster. She wove the handsigns without chakra to make sure that she had though right. The second time, she channeled chakra into her hands and wove the signs. With the correct chakra applied, she felt like everything was in slow motion. She ran and began to quickly ‘bounce’ from the walls and debris around her. She came to a sliding stop and the jutsu dispersed.
Sheva walked to the massive wall and placed the scrolls back into their normal positions. She wanted to leave the wall in the condition that it was left, she continued to scan the wall for new things to learn though she wanted this one to be the last before moving on to the next jutsu. She pulled a scroll and opened it where she stood, Sheva thought that this technique in particular looked fun. She set the scroll on the ground and looked around the room, she forgot to equip a kunai to her belt before she came. The Academy was is a slight disarray, she just wanted to equip something just for a moment. Over in the corner there seemed to be a short sword stuck in the ground. She walked over and freed it from the slight debris, she held it in her hand and Began to channel her chakra into it. The blade itself began to hum and spark. She slashed the sword around and the humming began to become more clear. With her right hand she used the release handsign and the humming stopped. She placed the blade near where she got it and rolled up the scroll.

Thump. Thump. Thump. The sound of heavy footsteps filled the hall as a big blue lady seemed to slowly make their way down the hall way. Fierce black eyes seemed to glance around at the doors as they passed them. Her eyes locked on a door down the hall to the left. Cutting the corner she made her way to it. Wham. Wham. Two heavy handed knocks on the door and she turned the knob to room 136. Entering, she saw a few small desks and no one around. She sat in the too small chair with her legs braced against the outside of the desk's legs. Patient, Mako waited to see who would be the instructor today.

Those that did would quickly find themselves away in a pinch after waving hello. They settle for one of the empty rooms, one that Aurelia usually had class in. As he walked down the hall he was met with a barrage of averted gazed and fearful reluctance to approach. Good. He liked to keep it that way- less trouble than permitting strangers to get too comfortable around you. He followed Aurelia to her classroom, room 136, and found a very large child already in it. Aurelia hadn't seemed to notice- she was very excited to actually start training with himself. She had been asking him to teach her for months now! Looking to the other mystery girl, Belamos would snap his fingers to get her attention "Girl, yes you, I don't know who you are but this is a private lesson for a gifted student. You can stay and listen, but do not speak unless spoken to" With that, he shifted his attention primarily onto Aurelia. Extending his hand, palm facing upwards, a miniature version of the Sun only a couple inches across floated in the palm of his hand "Aurelia, you are blessed with the last name of Karna. It signifies you have a mastery over Fire Ninjutsu. It will be your strongest ally in the battles to come" Suddenly the lights began to dim as Belamos used his Light Manipulation to block the light coming in from the world around them. Soon the class was in a black void, with only the people and desks remaining visible "It can be beautiful and powerful..." Belamos threw his hand out, letting the Sun dissapear. Suddenly the black void they were standing in was surrounded by hundreds of small twinkling stars with a larger version of the Sun hovering in front of them "...but never underestimate the power of Fire" Suddenly the Sun exploded in a theatrical display of colors and gasses with the room getting slightly hotter because of it. After a moment the classroom slowly faded to normal as Belamos leaned against the teacher's desk "What I just used was a combination of Light Release and Heat Release- all components that make up the essence of Fire. Now, Little Sun, you have already shown me you can manipulate Heat...but can you do the same for light? Try to use your chakra to bend the light rays..." He brought his hand up, holding a pencil which he tossed to his daughter "...and try to make this pencil disappear"
Just as she turned her attention back to her father, Belamos had snapped at another person in the room that had been there with them. She was a bit sorry for the woman to catch his ire for simply being in the same room as them but it was what it was. His massive hand extended to her, create a ball of fire in front of her. Her emerald eyes followed its movements while her father spoke about ninjutsu and her mastery of fire techniques. Just one of the few things she had gotten from her father. As soon as it had appeared, Belamos ended it and then used his light release to create a veil of stars around them, impressing the child. It was so magnificent to see in person. Her father ended the technique and tossed her a pencil with a set of instructions.
"Try to use your chakra to bend the light rays and try to make this pencil disappear."
"Yes, Daddy." Aurelia took a deep breath and tried summoning some chakra forward and using it to affect the pencil in her hands. She focused as hard as she could, even giving it a short groan before giving up after a solid 5 minutes or so. "I...don't think I can do it. I can feel fire when I use it b-but not light..."

Mako was busy counting the individual gaps in the corrugated ceiling panels to stave off the boredom when an old man and a young girl burst into the room. Mako was just about to ask if the old man the young girl was going to be teaching them. These ninja's and their strange ways. She thought just before the cantankerous being opened their mouth. "Can't talk unless spoken to? Great to know that you just spoke to me." She said, standing up from her chair as her deep black eyes slowly glossed over to a brilliant white. The action protecting her from the sudden darkness and light display. "Gifted student? Just because you can put on a silly light show?" she said to Belamos.
Her now white eyes shifted, gazing at the young girl that had entered alongside the man. Even as she tried to work on shaping light around the pencil. "You let this geezer speak for you? I have orders to wait in this class for an instructor. Being the only other female in the room I take it you're the said instructor." She paused for a second as it occurred to her that the girl had said "Daddy". While Mako was familiar with the concept of parents staying with their families, she had been abandoned as a child and had learned to fight just to survive. "This showboat is your dad?" She exclaimed in slight surprise. Before chuckling slightly, "You should train him to be better behaved."

Belamos rubbed his chin thoughtfully, a pensive look upon his face at his daughter's inability to use Light Release "Hmmm...it may come later for you. I was unable to use it when I was your age as well" Turning around, Belamos began writing a series of basic Katon Techniques on the board as well as proper instructions for Basic Scorch Manipulation. Once done, he turned around to Aurelia "Try out a few of these basic techniques, girl. Once you have those down, we will move on to rudimentary usage of them" He was also keen to see her skill with a blade- while she definitely looked more like Tsukina than him, he wasn't sure if she inherited her Mother's legendary swordsmanship.
He was keen to sit and wait, however, when the other woman began talking Belamos' hand was forced. Whoever this girl thought she was she had picked the wrong day to test him- he had just been attacked, put through the emotional ringer and lost his wife to boot. He was exhausted, but more than that, angry. Looking to Aurelia, he grinned "Now is a good time for a lesson sweetie." Belamos turned his gaze back to the blue woman and as he did so pillar of flame erupted from the ground around the woman and encased her in a cage of flame. The heat borne of these flames was so intense that even the air itself dried up inside it- the woman would feel the moisture on her skin begin to evaporate. After this, Belamos would snap his fingers. Multiple floating spears would appear around the woman, tips angled in such a way that it spelled certain death if Belamos cast them forward. In reality, that were mere Tricks of Light he had conjured. They would look incredibly real, but in truth did not exist. He was more using it to make a point than actually harm the child.
Still, it was clear the student lacked any sort of respect and it was a lesson Belamos was very well versed at teaching. So, in a cage of flames surrounded by golden, flaming spears...he spoke to her "You seem to not recognize the situation for what it is, woman" The spears shifted uneasily in the air, drawing in a little bit tighter. Belamos, now, would shifted his gaze back to his daughter "Now, love, you remember what we taught you about respect and the duties of a Princess, right? What would you do to this girl if you were me?" He was curious to see what her thought process was- what kind of leader Aurelia was already turning out to be. The fate of the Shark Lady, ironically, was entirely of the hands of the Sun Spawn.

During their entrance, the woman in their snapped back at her father, Aurelia feeling the same kind of awkward feeling that she had when Vivian. She didn't like it when people tried to provoke her dad, even if it was justified in some cases. Regardless, she would continue on with the lesson, totally focused on what she was being taught by Belamos. That was, until the woman chimed in again.
"Gifted student? Just because you can put on a silly light show?"
"Please, please, please stay quiet. I don't want Daddy to get into another fight." Aurelia thought to herself as she continued looking to provoke the beast. Thankfully he seemed hyperfocused on teaching her and less on the woman. She spent some time recovering from her little action before the woman spoke up yet again. This time clearly overstepping some lines.
"You let this geezer speak for you?...You should train him to be better behaved"
Aurelia turned to the woman with a very annoyed and dismayed look on her face. Nobody would ever talk like that to a family member of hers. She met eyes with her father and seemed to share the same sentiment. "Do it, Daddy!" A pillar of flame surrounded the woman in an instant, then came the spears that all surrounded the woman. It was a handy combination of techniques that she was amazed by. He made it look so trivial. He then asked her what the woman's fate would be. Aurelia thought about it hard. She did insult her father, and after losing a family member she was eager to enact some amount of vengeance. In fact, she would have went with "make her suffer" had it not been for the thought of her mother. What would she have done?
"I-I would stop." Aurelia said. "She spoke ill of royalty, but to shed innocent blood so irresponsibly would make us no better than savages in the wastelands." Her years and years of being shoved lessons and stuff on ruling were coming back to her. Though she had anger and emotions in her heart, she couldn't just let another suffer. "If she has learned her lesson, then no further poison shall rain from her tongue. If she makes the same mistake twice, then an example is to be made of her."
After that, the child focused on the board with Katson techniques and got started pretty quickly. She imagined the sun, fueling her as chakra would flow through her body like a rampaging fire. The air around her would begin to feel hot as she could feel everything getting ready for her blaze. When she was ready, her hand came together to create...nothing. Looking down in confusion, nothing would be present for her now. ,[1/5]
It was probably just performance anxiety in all honesty. Totally. Starting from the beginning, Aurelia would stretch her arms forward and imagine the chakra to gently flow through her system. The ebb and flow of the precious fuel was important in getting it to circulate around ones system. It would appear as if she was stretching but it was one of the exercises that the students had been taught to prepare themselves for great chakra consumption. It even looked like a small dance recital. [2/5]
Now ready, the small Shakuton user would begin by extending her chakra around her, feeling the dry and humid air coming from inside of the classroom. It was a bit stale but that just made it all the better to burn. She loosened her wrists and then focused on gathering the air around her with her fuuton nature. It was compacting around her, gathering into a small shape. [3/5]
Now came the tricky part. She was to combine the two aspects of her chajra nrure together but not enough that one was much stronger than the other one. With the air gathered by her previously in front of her, her hands would cup, igniting the wind as katon asoected chajra flowed out of her palms. The two would meet in both hands, a swell of warm air appearing around them as she could feel it getting ready to ignite. [4/5]
After some more focus, Aurelia would feel something in her click, two kickball sizes balls of flame around her, set ablaze by her technique. She moved them around her in one of the many dance lessons that her mother had given her in a beautiful dance of flames. Not done with her Shakuton set just yet, she read the board for the instructions that Belamos had wrote in order to get a better grasp of Shakuton techniques. The first two were pretty easy enough. She did the same action as before, summoning her Shakuton chakra and dispersing it around her, which in effect dehydrated the air around her. Any suiton or water related techniques would be fairly dried up with her technique. She then focused on a metal cup in the corner near the desk and focused her sight on that. Immediately, it would begin to warm up as chakra poured into it. Not that anybody would try and pick it up but still! Very hot. [Mizu Shirizoke [ Water Repelling ], Atatameru [ To Heat ] Learned]
Aurelia paused for a moment, her silent training taking a moment to rest as she had yet to get comfortable with using such amounts of chajra so fast. "I hope that was okay, Daddy. I just need a quick break..."

As the fire prison formed around her, Mako was forced back away from the child as spears of flame pointed towards her. She snarled, and gnashed her serrated teeth towards the fire wielding father.
She was no older than child in the room with her now. She had taken a small bluegill from one of the boats down at the docks. She had run as fast as she could to her hide out: A worn out shed, near the edge of town and down by the river. As she was chowing down on her meal, she heard voices approaching. "We know you're in there. Steal our fish, will you? Open up and come out here!" They banged on the door. Mako waited, hoping they would think they were mistaken. As a precaution she kept it locked from the inside. "They don't like you either. The rest of village, they want you gone. Fine. Don't come out, we'll just grant them their wish." Mako's eyes widened and she crawled to a crack in one of the boards, She could see them. The villagers. They were the ones who would throw stones at her when she came into the village for fresh water. They had hurt her more often than she could count. So she had targeted them more often than any others. Now they had found her hiding spot. Looking through the crack, she watched in horror as they raised what looked like little clubs and set them ablaze. Mako looked up, the thatch roof had caught ablaze and she could feel the heat already. desperate, she rushed towards the door and tried to push it open, but something seemed to be wedging the door closed. Smoke was quickly filling the room. She tried again and again but the door wouldn't budge. Instinctual fear gripped her even as tears streamed down from her irritated eyes.
Reaching up, she tried to pry the bars open with her strength only to have the flames sear her hands. Her eyes, seemingly white quickly shifted back to black and she hissed in pain as she backed away. "You've made your point." She growled out.

His daughter's answer filled him with pride- she was truly growing into a wise and just leader. She knew when to disperse mercy and when to withhold it already and she was hardly more than a babe. He wondered, however, if Aurelia would be able to follow through with exacting true justice when the time came for it. Hopefully, she would never have to find out. While Aurelia practiced her jutsu's he would momentarily give his attention to Mako, narrowing his eyes as he watched her squirm. She seemed to set into a form of panic when the fire enclosed around her. She even tried to grab the obviously dangerous bars in order to force them apart. Belamos crossed his arms, watching her until she calmed down and submitted "You're a member of the Hoshigaki clan" He stated matter of factly. It was plain to see- she bore all their unique characteristics "If I recall, you people respect strength and truth. So, I will demonstrate both to you now as an act of good will: if you ever speak in such a manner to either me or my daughter again I will kill you." The statement was absent the flowery language and gravitas of which he was known. It was said in a flat tone- a simple tone.
After his declaration, Belamos dismissed the flames with a wave of his hand, the same way one might shoo away a fly. Belamos walked back to the desk, leaning against it once more "However, I will respect you swallowing your pride and recognizing when you are wrong. For that, I will allow you to participate in this next lesson provided you both give us your name and act as as a sparring partner with Aurelia here" This, coincidentally, was aroun the time she wrapped up her Ninjutsu and asked if it was sufficient. Belamos beamed at her, placing a warm hand on her head "Yes, it was fantastic. You grasp in minutes what took me weeks when I was your age"
After praising Aurelia he would take a few steps towards the window then turn back to face the two students. "The next lesson is one that memorization and intellect alone will be insufficient for..." At this a small wisp of flames appeared near the ground, twirling through the air near Belamos's hands and continuing upwards another few feet. Where the flames passed, a spear began appearing. Starting at the base with a black oaken shaft it continued upwards another five feet to a curved red steel speartip. Around the head of the spear two banners hunt, one emblazoned with the Kanji for "King" and another with one for "Sun." It was a regal weapon, sleek and deadly in design The Sun Spear- Shoyoku. "...we will cover the beginning of Bukijutsu" Belamos placed his free hand onto the ground. After a puff of a smoke a large collection of ordinary but reliable weapons appeared. Everything from long swords to daggers. He stepped back, letting the two choose their weapons.
The woman in question wasn't exactly keen on her father's actions but at least she had managed to stave off any kind of way that would have her skewered for simply mouthing off to either of them. Not that she wasn't pestering her enough in all honesty. Aurelia even caught that little proud look that Belamos gave her out of the corner of her young eyes. After a threat of her life if she did so again, he (rather begrudgingly) allowed her to stay for training. She would even be a sparring partner against her in the meantime. Belamos would summon his weapon, wisps of flame and scorch chakra would swirl around his hand as his spear materialized itself in front of him. It always took Aurelia by surprise that such a feat would be possibly. Her eyes savored every moment of her father being all cool. She wanted to be just as awesome as he was one day. They were to be learning Bukijutsu next, with her father summoning a wall of weaponry for the both of them. Aurelia scoured the weapons over which she wanted first. "Ummmm...This one." It took her only a few moments before she grabbed another spear and looked very content.

With the flames extinguished, Mako stepped forward, the stench of seared flesh still present. Despite the familiar pain, Mako managed to flex her hands. "I don't know this Hoshigaki clan you speak of and I have no such ties, but I do recognize a predator. I may not know your ninja ways yet, but this," Her voice remained its deep and dark tone, but with less of a rebellious nature to it. She waved towards the weapons that had been summoned, "This I know enough to say I like it." She grinned, her serrated teeth gleamed in the reflected light.
She walked over to the collection of weapons of all kinds. Picking up a kunai, she examined it. A ninja tool and one she only knew by reputation. The lightness of it made it feel awkward in her hands. She tossed it back in with the other weapons and looked elsewhere.
She swung a pair of nunchucks around. The handles were comfortable to hold, but the weapon seemed to be just handles. Bored by its bluntness, she discarded it and grabbed the next weapon.
A curved blade not native to the area, the Dao was a wide bladed sword with most of the weight centered around the head. Making a few practice swings, the weight distribution felt comfortable in her hand. Mako's other hand however felt empty and itching to grab onto something. Setting it aside, she moved onto the next.
Mako paused and looked down. There seemed to be a small sheet of paper on the ground. Thinking it was trash, she picked it up and threw it into the waste bin in the corner. A small plume of smoke erupted from the bin, though Mako was more concerned with the polearm she was now holding.
The heavy shaft felt comfortable in her large hands. The blade at the tip was similar to the dao, which gave it more heft for momentum. The crescent moon shaped blade reminded her of the fins of a shark. She gave it a twirl with her hands, the blade just barely avoided scraping the floor in its path. Settling on it, she hefted the Guan Dao onto her shoulders. "I like this one." She looked down at Aurelia and smiled widely,"I'm Mako and I'll spar you any time you'd like, Akasame."

Aurelia, adorably, chose a full-length spear. It was similar in height to the one he used, that was to say- taller than she was! "Let me see that a moment" Taking the spear from his daughter, he superheated his index finger until it glowed white hot. He cut through the shaft of the spear like a hot knife through butter, rounding off the new end of the weapon. Handing it back to her, she would find the weapon was now proportionately the same as Shokoyu as to Belamos. The other one, Mako, had chosen a similar polearm. Once they had both made their selections. Belamos walked to the front of the classroom and quickly made a shadow clone "Alright, you two, follow me" Leading them out of the classroom and down the hall, he would take them to a large practice room. Wooden plank floors and an absence of furniture made it the perfect sparring ground. Taking a position opposite of his clone, Belamos flourished his spear before dropping down low into an attack position. His legs were spread wide, one shoulder dropped down low while the other high. The spear's tip was pointed downwards at a fourty-five degree angle- ready to strike at a moments notice "A spear, and even a Guan Dao, is fundamentally different than a sword. You must use angles and momentum to attack from a medium range- constantly adjusting your footing and grip to reflect the situation" At this, Belamos and the clone exploded into a barrage of thrusts, parries, counter-jabs, and ripostes. The sound of metal on metal was so frequent it sounded like someone was dropping metal tacks onto a tin sheet. After a few moments he slowed down and both him and the clone turned to the children "I know it seems hard, but the more you practice the more natural it becomes."
Dismissing his spear from his hand, Belamos walked over to Aurelia and patted her on the head once more "I am going to step out for a quick moment- I need to see about something. My Shadow Clone, by all means, an extension of myself, will remain here to help you guys train." The Clone stepped forward, nodding in agreement "We'll just be working on the basics of Spearmanship" Said the clone "Nothing too daunting today. And after I feel you both have it down, we'll go through a brief spar" The real Belamos offered no disagreements to that plan.
He gave both the girls a once over one last time before stepped out and walking down the hall. He found the stairwell and climbed up, wandering about until he found what he was looking for: a meditation chamber. It was a room devoid of any furniture save cushioned seats on the ground. One entire wall was nothing but windows looking down onto the village. It was here Belamos sat and began to meditate: searching inwards for something he knew to be there. Another power he had seen before...a rare power...his mother's power. 1/20

His mother was not a shinobi. She was a regular woman- a civilian. Still, she was a runaway from a warrior clan. Her surname, Mugen, was all the proof of that one needed. 2/20 She had these crazy Golden Eyes- a trait that was very common in her clan. It allowed her to do things like see around obstacles and use basic wind attacks. While she hadn't been very proficient with it, the power was still uniquely hers. 3/20 He had inherited a lot of his father's power. Scorch and Light Release. He had gone nearly 16 years without realizing it though...a power hidden deep inside of him. A repressed ability that he had only discovered through great strife. 4/20 Now, he wondered, if there was an ability he had inherited from his mother. Her own power. A little gift from the woman he lost so early. He didn't know how to begin to search for it, so...he just started by remembering her. 5/20 She was a kind woman- Mirian had always took care of Belamos as a single mother. It was coming up on the 20th year of her death. The thought of the event still filled him to the brim with anger and bloodlust. 6/20 Alas there was nobody left who had any connection with her death left alive to kill. The UHV, Horace; they had all paid the price for their insolence. Even Takumi, the only other one who had met his mom, was dead. She lived now only in his memories. 7/20 The best way he could describe her would be gentle. She did not like warfare nor battle. It was amazing that she and Utu got along as well as they did- she the soft summer breeze and he the raging inferno of the north. 8/20 When Utu left though...she doted on him more than was healthy. Always scolding him for getting in fights with the boys it in the Merchant Village. Even back then he had a wild side- a very famous hothead. 9/20 He had been picked on as a kid. Having been short for his age, he had been an easy target. Naturally he tended to get in a lot of fights about it. Whenever he came home with a bloody nose or a black eye his mother always touted the same principle: forgiveness. 10/20 This ran contrary to what his father had taught him- divine vengence. He was born of the almighty and thus judgement and death were his to deliver. His mother was just a mortal, what could she understand of such things? Or, at least, these were the thoughts he had as a child 11/20 He was older now...more experienced. In his youth he had been the living embodiment of Utu- especially once Mirian died. He had spilled an ocean's worth of blood in her name- in the name of his divine right to rule...and for all of it he got no closer to his goal. 12/20 It was only once he stopped fighting, only when he sat down and allowed life to take the reigns, that he finally found a semblence of happiness. Tsuki and Aurelia had brought him that...and then a piece of it was taken away with her death. 13/20 The wound was still raw- like a piercing blow that had only been recently bandaged. He doubted he would ever fully recover from the loss of his wife- the mother of his child. Wrath crept in, turning his neutral face into a harsh frown. 14/20 He would have their heads. Yes. It was the only sort of way he would find happiness again. The equality of slaughtering the shinobi of Uzu would bring a sense of satisfaction back to him. While it wouldn't return Tsuki to life...it would do well for himself. 15/20 Still, even as he said it he knew it not to be true. Revenge and war was all he had ever known, and never once did it lead to a positive outcome. Yes, it had rid evil from the world but that was only be happenstance. Had Horace been a force for good Belamos would have killed him all the same. 16/20 That realization struck him like a hammer. He could have, very easily, been the evil guy in the story of this world. His youthful lust for vengence and power could have been easily midsirected and misused to the detriment of those around him. Such a path was clouded in darkness with the one walking it unable to see where it will take them 17/20 The words of his mother rang in his ears once more "Forgive them, Little Prince, for they don't know what they are doing" But could he? This time it was too much. He hadn't been able to let his mother's death go until he removed his spear from Horace's body...and it cost him his village 18/20 If he pursued this coarse of action agaisnt the Whirlpool, not against the UHV but against an entire village, what would it cost him this time? The Storm? Vivian? Aurelia...? No! He could not sacrifice another for the sake of his personal vandetta. Slowly, every so slowly, he felt the anger begin to receede 19/20 His mother's words floated in his brain. Forgiveness. He...had not mastered it. He likely never would. But he embraced it. Hatred and anger could not longer be his path. He cast them aside. Forgiveness and Wisdom must be his tools from now on. Determination and peace the assets he would use to forge a better future for his daughter. Without him realizing it, tears flowed from closed eyes as he finally accepted the last lesson his mother would ever teach him "Thank you, Mom" He whispered to himself. As he rose, Belamos opened his eyes- peering outt the window.
