Starlight Princess Lucky Lucky considered the offer. "I admit, that does sound fun..." She glanced out the window at the night sky for a brief moment, then looked back at the other, smiling apologetically. "Unfortunately, strictly speaking I am not allowed to-"
She was cut off when rough coughing close by caught her attention. It looked like something had gone down the wrong pipe for the belled girl. Lucky blinked. "Goodness! Are you ok?" She quickly went for some punch and held it out for the girl. "Here, drink this.""Oh geez, I'm sorry Ma'am to cause a commotion. Just got a little...startled," Cid explained as she took the drink from Lucky with a word of thanks, the sweetness of the punch causing her to pull a face before she cleared her throat. She couldn't really...handle sweet. "Gah, thank you. All clear!"

"Ah, maybe some water to wash down the punch?" she offered, recognizing the expression as soon as the stranger sipped the punch. "By the way, you don't have to call me 'ma'am'. Everyone just calls me Lucky."

RandomKate The witch shakes her head. "It's nothing. Just Phantom being Phantom," she replies, her glance facing Gwen's direction. Beast Within -Anon- Stopping next to the phantom, Gwen looks at the two women quizzically. "Did I miss something?" It could be nothing, but from her experience Phantom never looks that innocent unless she's up to something

"By the way, you don't have to call me 'ma'am'. Everyone just calls me Lucky." "Water would be lovely Ma-...ah...Mad-..." It was strange. Really strange. She was used to nobility and higher classed folk being sticklers about titles and rank...and here it was like they were sticklers about the exact opposite. Would it be more rude to continue to refer them as 'Sir' or 'Lord', 'Ma'am' or 'Madam', than just referring to them by their names? "...that would be lovely...Lucky," she finally acquiesced with a small smile in her direction.

She got the water, noting how the other seemed to be looking towards her, yet not directly at her. It reminded her of Midi somewhat. And like Midi, this girl seemed to give off an air that she could handle herself just fine without sight. She wouldn't comment on it then. Holding out the water she smiled playfully, regardless. "If it's easier for you, you can call m-Prince Astraeus whatever you please. He's a little more obligated to listen to titles if people speak them. Even if it gets his cape in a twist, he'll keep it to himself~"

Cid took the water after snapping her fingers a few times near it, then held the glass lightly in both her hands, still smiling as she nodded, "Sounds good to me. I take it you both are close considering you just outed him right there." Oh she had caught the slip as well, and if this woman was any kind of trickster, who was she to deny a bit of fun? She slowly drank the water, letting it wash out the sweet, before nodding to the other woman, "I am so sorry Madam, I shall take your advice to heart and try to slow down. Choking at a party isn't quite the best first impression, hmm?"

Ruby crinkled her nose at being called Madam, but didnt bother correcting the girl. She too had caught Lucky's slip-up, but wasn't sure it was anything worth bringing up at the moment. "Oh, its a terrible first impression, dear, but dont worry about it too much. You should have seen how I first greeted Queen Serenity. Talk about a bad first impression." [[Sorry been a bad day]]

"Oh?" the knight replied, taking another sip of the water. She reached behind her for another small snack, finishing her sentence before popping it into her.mouth, "Partner in crime, partners in governance? Partners in combat?" Cid chewed thoughtfully, wondering just what kind of nobles these were. Her attention turned to Ruby once more, a grin forming, "Oh my, a Lady a poised as yourself? How could you have possibly made a bad impression infront of a Queen?" The formal way of speach was one of her only indicators of this, though there seemed to be a...tense feeling coming from her. Something she normally attributed to well mannered officials.

Gigi of the Ribbons Tilting her head at his words, she gives the dragon a slightly confused look. "Why would people not want you near them? I find you fine company~" The elf then blinks and starts to blush at what is then said. "N-Nef, th-that's not what I meant . . ." Poor blushy elf starts fidgeting. "A-and who are you wishing to do less public mingling with?" Giving herself a moment, the elf then looks back up with her best innocent smile even though her cheeks are still pink. "Did someone or a few someones catch your eye?" (Have to respond from my phone for now) "Someone is always catching my eye, one of these people is currently talking with me." The dragon almost seems to be purring the words, obviously pleased with the blush he had called to the elfs face.

The dragon almost seems to be purring the words, obviously pleased with the blush he had called to the elfs face. "O-oh, is that right?" Trying her best to not get more flustered, she finds the thing to help. "Aw, you're nearly purring~" Her fingers find their way to his hair, giving him some pets. "Y-you know, sneaking off in the middle of a fancy ball would be rather rude. W-would this suffice for now?" (Uh oh, trouble? ono )

(Uh oh, trouble? ono ) (On a mini vacation so I'm not always at a computer.) He tenses slightly as the petting startles a purr out of him, "I... I suppose." He clears his throat and looks around again, "Was there anything you wanted to do?"

"Such a... Generous young lady." Had this disapproving woman been leaning against the wall next to you been here the whole time? Maybe, maybe not, though the "devil" is known for doing as she pleases when it pleases her. The cigarette in her hand burns with a strange purple smoke that smells almost sweet and leaves you with a strange feeling of loss. "It's why I don't like this world, the people are too nice. Makes me sick."
