Roy shook his head at Patrick's question"Nope this city is actually pretty safe, just like you said, it's a safety in numbers thing....just in case"he explained before a small smirk formed on his face as the alcohol began to weaken his inhibitions even more as he rested his head against Patrick's shoulder"I'd like to see an adult movie with you...."Roy stated, not quite grasping what he just said himself and simply meant a normal movie. The problem was it probably sounded much worse then he meant.

"Despite the snowmen attacks and other things that may have happened this month that I was unaware of?" Patrick asked him. He doesn't mind Roy resting his head on his shoulder. He blinks a couple of times at the statement. "Huh.....oh, my mind went someplace else for a second there" he said assuming the guy had meant a movie with mostly sexual content in it. Stops on channel that was airing a movie that didn't seem like a kids movie or least not a family movie. Hears a knock on the door a moment later, "He's back early" he commented. "Excuse me, I will be back in a second" he said before getting up and heading for the front door to let Kenzie in. ╚══════════════╝

Kenzie knocks on the door as soon as he approaches the door. "This town is boresville today, partner" he said as soon as the door was opened. He walks on inside the warm house and notices the place has lingering smell of food. "I will go eat some of your leftovers before I pack up to leave town" he said to Patrick. "Give me about an hour to do all that" said before heading off to the kitchen. ┗━━━━━━━━━┛

Roy shrugged his shoulders at the question"Nothing that I was ever informed of...."he said, listening to Patrick. Of course his hazy mind didn't really pick up on what was said and brushed it off as nothing right now. Of course when he sobers up he's be horribly embarrassed by what he said if he remembers it. He then heard the knock at the door and shook his head"You're warm...don't go..."Roy said as Patrick got up to open the door. Roy then simply slouched into the couch, waiting for Patrick to return.
Patrick was amused by what Roy said as he was heading for the front door. "Nah, you came visiting when things had wind down for the month" he responded. "Alright, but stay away from Roy's leftovers" he warns him. He watches Kenzie head for the kitchen after closing the door then headed back to the living room. "I'm back, Roy and we should have enough time for this movie before I do that thing I told you about" he said to Roy. He sits back in his spot after picking up Hiro off the floor to hold the kitten on his lap. ╚══════════════╝

Roy nodded his head as he resumed the position of resting his head on Patrick's shoulder and began to rub Hiro behind the ear as he started watching the TV again. Nothing was coming to Roy's hazy mind at the moment so instead he chose to sit back and watch the TV in comfortable silence.
Hiro purrs and moves up against Roy's hand while he was being rubbed. "This is definitely an older and mature audience movie" he said after a few minutes had went by. "So much drama and misery for a holiday that is supposed to be cheerful and about sharing" comments. Turns his head to look at Roy, "Sorry, hope I'm not talking too much" he apologizes. Looks back to the tv screen to try to get back into the movie. ╚══════════════╝

Roy smirked and shook his head"Nope, you're fine"he said before a thought occurred to him"Drama and misery? Says the man who played a horror movie earlier!"Roy stated with a smirk, poking fun at Patrick's choice of movie from earlier.
Patrick lets out a hearty laugh at when Roy had poked fun at his choice of movie the day before. "At least its skims out the drama and replaces it with cosmic justice" he replied. "About tomorrow's date. Do you want to eat here before going to the cinema or after it?" he asked him. This will be his first date as an adult as far as he knows it. Hiro moves to lay on top of Roy's lap and curled up in a ball. ╚══════════════╝

Roy smiled and nodded his head at what Patrick said"Very true"he stated as he continued to watch the movie unfold. Roy was then caught off guard by Patrick's question, his hazy mind actually forgetting about the date"Oh um...well....."old Roy was back for a moment as he thought for a few moments"We can eat here after the movies I suppose..."Roy finally said before a thought occurred to him"So...um...what movie were you thinking of seeing?"Roy asked, none too familer with any of the latest movies currently out.
Patrick turns his head to look at him as he hears the older male begin to answer his date question. "Okay" he said to eating after the movies. He figured they could eat leftovers after the movie so he doesn't have to cook something up nor spend any money than on the movies. "I don't know, I still have been to this town's movie theater yet" he answered. "Was I supposed to scout the place out and the movies they were playing before asking you out?" he asked feeling like he was making a mistake for not doing that. ╚══════════════╝

Roy quickly shook his head at Patrick's comment, waving his hands frantically in a panicked motion as he sat up straight"No! That's not it at all!"he said quickly"I just figured you had it planned out, you seem to be on top of everything usually..."the older man explained as he lowered his hands and scratched Hiro a small bit in order to calm himself a tad.
Patrick was caught off guard and so was Hiro when Roy had moved so suddenly. "I don't see how I gave such an impression" he said confused. "Everything done this holiday week was spare of the moment and just be prepared most things" he explained. "I couldn't scout anything out a head out of time with how I am with crowded places. Doubt cinema will be crowded on the day after Christmas" he explained some and reminding him of his weakness. "To tell you a secret though. My first date. I ever had was a blind date and it was set up at a place I've never been to with a person I never met. I learned how to eat sushi and use chopsticks and the date was with a female teacher" he confesses based on what he knows from his journal. ╚══════════════╝

As Patrick spoke Roy began to lower his head more and more in embarrassment at his assumption"Sorry...I guess...you just seemed really smart with...never mind...just pretend I didn't say anything...."Roy stated, now feeling extremely stupid for his thought. He then listened to Patrick speak of his first date and decided to pretend he was over his embarrassment"Well that's pretty cool! Maybe you can teach me how to use chopsticks sometime!"Roy exclaimed as he quickly raised his head and put on a smile for Patrick.
"That's alright. At least I'm learning of the impressions I give off to other people" said Patrick trying to cheer him up. Rubs the back of his head, "I don't know, but it shouldn't be too hard for me to learn it again since wrote detailed notes on how to use them" he said and he was pleased to see Roy smiling again. "Once I do, we can eat some Asian style food here in the future since the only place I know that serves sushi is on the expensive side of town" he said coming up with another date idea. "We will decide on a date for the second date at a later time after the first date" he assures him. ╚══════════════╝
