Jac was silent for a while, pondering this decision. He hated schools though, and the though of attending one willingly was not like him. But that was the point after all. Not to be like him. He looked at her, still thinking. "Should I try at the school you're going to? It's closest to me at the moment, and I really don't know where else to start." he could look up other schools on the internet, if he better access to it.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--"I think that's probably your best bet," Delia replied truthfully after a moment of thought. She could tell he was just as confused about it, if not a little dismayed. She had a feeling that he was only thinking about doing this for a completely different reason, but then maybe that's why he was talking to her about it. If he needed something from her, she'd be glad to help. "If you need anything, you know I'm here to help." she told him with an encouraging nod.

"So you keep reminding me." he said with a chuckle. She seemed to forget how much she had told him that she was there to help. "You know, you should slow down on the helping humanity thing. you might end up needing help because of it." He stretched his back and stood, taking the pizza box and standing to go to the kitchen. "But term had started for your school hasn't it? How would I get classes?"
Marina Elemento There are drop out spots. He would just have to get on a waiting list and hope a spot in a class opens up.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia sat for a moment and thought hard about what he had said. Helping humanity, huh? Is that what she was doing? Would she need help because of it as an effect? No, wait... She thought back to middle school and all the stuff that had happened to her back "then". There was a reason she tried so hard to help people, and she couldn't see herself needing help because of it. It took her a moment before she snapped back to reality at the sound of his question. Her brain kicked in again and she replied quickly, "People drop out all the time. There's bound to be a spot somewhere with your name on it." She reiterated the statement by adding, "All you have to do is sign up and wait for a spot to open up. You should be fine."Kiyiya Sakura Thanks. Sorry I know nothing about this stuff xd

This information confirmed it in his head. He was going to go back to school. It's just a cover, he told himself. He would endure it to stay out of Birch's grasp. "Alright, I'll head over first thing tomorrow and see about it." He said, coming back from putting the pizza box in the counter. He refilled his cup and hers, then raised it in the air, "To waiting lists!"
Marina Elemento Oh don't worry about it. You don't have to deal with the stresses of getting into college yet. Assuming you are going to school after high school, you will learn all about waiting... and waiting.... AND WAITINGGGGDDDMfjnkfjksjfdhsab! Gah!

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia was intrigued by his sudden seriousness about it, and had a feeling the next few weeks would prove to be just as interesting. She raised her cup as well and laughed a little bit, nodding in agreement. "To waiting lists." She paused, wondering if it would be wise to ask him or not. She remembered the last time she went poking around his thoughts, and their little "discussion" hadn't gone that well. Deciding it would be best to go with the flow about it, she said nothing else about the subject. Kiyiya Sakura <.< To be honest, I'm not really looking forward to the whole college thing... I kinda want to just stay home and write for the rest of my life. xd But I know that's completely illogical.

Jac toasted with her, then drank the fizzy liquid in his cup. Even with the caffeine in the soda, he was still tired. It hadn't been a particularity long day, but none the less, he felt the heaviness in his eyelids. He leaned his head back, comfortable, and for once, feeling safe. There was a feeling of comfort he had felt before, but not in so very long, that he was confused slightly by it. What was this warm feeling? What ever it was, it was soothing. He gazed lazily out of the window, trying to put his finger on the feeling. "Oh... I remember." he mumbled, not paying attention to what he said out loud, as he closed his eyes and smiled.
Marina Elemento When you finally get classes, it'll be easier to keep getting classes and you have so much fun. I know you will.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia finished her soda and gazed at Jac with an intrigued gleam in her eyes. It was then she realized the sun was almost completely set now, and it cast a deep pink glow over the rest of the room. She sat there watching him for a moment, the content on his face very endearing. It was nice seeing this new look on his face, but what he said aloud made her raise an eyebrow. "Huh?" she asked quietly, leaning towards him with a curious smile.

Jac blinked open his eyes, "Hmm? What?" he asked looking at her. It took him a moment to realize what he had done. "Oh, I was just thinking. I didn't mean to say anything." He said, rubbing an eye. He squinted, the warm sunlight shining right in his face, It made him all the more warm and comfortable, and therefore sleepy. He looked over at Delia, her face also in the golden glow of the sun, and saw that same, unrivaled beauty, amplified by mother nature herself. "This light is really flattering." He told her, speaking his thoughts out loud again. He head it this time, and the feeling of embarrassment came back again. He looked back at the wall, but he had been embarrassed enough today, he decided to roll with it. It was the truth anyway. He looked back at her and smiled, not even afraid of how she would respond.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia was a little tired herself, but not nearly as out of it as Jac seemed to be. There were too many moments when he acted so down to earth and adorable to her, and she found it hard to ignore it. He may try to act hard-headed and dangerous, but the more time she spent with him, the more she realized who he really was. At his words, her eyebrows raised and she felt her face grow warm again. Whether it was from the sunlight or not, she couldn't tell. She sat there for a minute and scanned his face, every detail of it, till her eyes fell on his lips. Her smile grew and she shook her head with a soft laugh. "Someone's sleepy."

Jac let out a breathy laugh, "Maybe a little." he admitted. He still kept his eyes on her, though they drifted around her face, centering on her lips. She was sitting so close to him, he could feel her body heat. At this moment, she seemed almost as radiant as the sun, glowing in it's residual light. He could smell the shampoo in her brown curls, and he leaned in to smell more of it.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia didn't realize she was this close to him until it was too late. Her heart was thumping hard against her chest, like a loud drumroll inside of her. The way he looked right then, the gleam of sunlight in his handsome eyes, the taut curl of his lips, she couldn't help what happened next. She tilted her head a tad and pressed her lips against his softly. Warmth washed over her immediately, more than that had already lingered in her cheekbones.

Bliss. Bliss washed over him as her lips came upon his. He was no stranger to kisses. He kissed her back feeling around her soft lips as it was new territory. He had been with girls before, but none of them made him feel as safe and cared for as Delia. the warmth she projected came not only from her breath, her lips, her body, but from her heart, and that was something Jack had not felt since his mother had passed.
But what he suddenly felt for Delia was noting like a child's love for their mother. It was something completely different, and he liked it. No, he loved it.
he pulled away after a long moment, wondering if she was okay with this, and also wondering if this was okay. Even if she wanted more, was it alright to get her tangled up in his life? Any other woman, he would not have asked himself these questions, but it was definite now, Delia was different. She was not just a fling. If he went with her now, he was never going to leave it be. He looked at her, waiting for her response.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--It seemed like forever they sat there kissing, and in the back of her mind she was screaming. Delia had kissed boys before, but not in a long time, and it probably was nothing compared to this. Not that she remembered. But this... this was much different to anything she'd ever felt before. It wasn't a silly schoolgirl crush, though at first it may have felt that way. Somehow, some way, it was different, and it was altogether perfect. Her heart was still fluttering at a scarily high rate and her cheeks were incredibly flushed when they parted. She sat there for a moment, searching his eyes for any kind of answer to the question screaming in the back of her mind. Exhaling softly, she looked at him curiously, the sparkle still glistening in her eyes. "I... um..." Words, Delia. Use your words. But for once she was at a loss. "That was.. nice." She mentally kicked herself, still unable to believe it was possible for her face to become any redder. Kiyiya Sakura kfdhasksfhuwqodsvndalp heart (my feels!!!!)

Jac could help the smile on his face as she stammered for words. there was a sense of pride when you leave someone speechless after a kiss, and Delia definitely seemed speechless. "Yes. It was." he agreed. "Are you alright?" He asked, his smile slowly fading. There was still a hint of it, but there was now more caution in his face. He was still unsure of how she felt about it entirely. He wanted her to be okay with it, but there was a part of him that wanted her to not. That part wanted her to be so not okay with it that she left and never came back. That way, there would be no chance of his past getting her into trouble at all.
