Larkanna shook her head, she'd traveled the world on numerous occassions and hadn't stumbled across any eggs, even in the areas where it was said that the dragons had flourished. "These three have been dormant for the past several centuries, which is virtually impossible, since they need the constant companionship of a parent." Stretching, she glanced at the door, "But we can't miss the meet. Not since we're here already, anyways."

. Elkand Nodded " Alright then" he said going over to the door "We should go rest up before the meet starts as we have no clue what will happen there." he said and looked at her. He thought it was odd she got visions when a prophecy was supposed to be fulfilled he wonders if she would ever get any visions of him destroying something. it was also strange for dragon eggs that old to exist and need the touch of a human. He shook his head wondering why these eggs were so special and how they remained so hidden.

Larkanna followed after him, continually catching glimpses of memories that were either forgotten or ignored by the rest of the world in hopes of leaving the dead behind. I won't allow us to become mere memories after this challenge. She hadn't realized how tired she was until he mentioned that they needed to rest and so she didn't make any indication as to what she intended to do later when the rest of the house was asleep. There were so many secrets within this tower that needed to be exposed to help prevent so many casualties.

. Elkand when they got outside grabbed her hand and transported them back home " I don't wanna stay there...my mother might try and take you again." he said and walked off into the living room where he sat down on the couch and laid back " Boy...that was exhausting....I forgot how nuts my mother exactly was but at least she didn't get you.' he said.

Sitting on the couch next to him, Larkanna sighed tiredly as she replied, "But it was an adventure, I have to admit. t's most certainly a memory that we'll be able to tell..." ...to our children. She finished the sentence in her head before pushing it away. Yes, they had to get married, but that didn't mean that they had to have descendants. "to our friends." She pretended to finish. Laying her head on hs shoudler without even knowing that she was doing so, her eyes drifted closed, but she managed to say before falling into a deep sleep, "The furture looks promising beyond your curse..."

. Lillet voice seemed to ring out though the memory room as he eaprped standing on air " Well well I thought I sensed someones magic for that split second." she said " Why have you returned, want to be many pet or are you here searching for something you have no business knowing?" she asked her tone going much darker as he glared at Larkanna and walked down like she was walking on stairs until she touched the floor in front of Larkanna her hands behind her back her color mixed eyes having a raging glow to them as she stared.

Larkanna woke up a couple of hours later. Silently, she stood and walked into another room, shutting the door and lcoking it behind her. Murmuring a short spell, a door opened in front f her, and when she stepped into it, she was back in the memory panel room. Summoning to her several different panels after she had removed the portal and any traces of it from both her destination and her origins, she began to watch the memories, memorizing each face and watch their deaths. They were all connected somehow, and she intended to figure out what in the world was wrong with them and how they were similar.

Larkanna wasn't surprised that the woman had discovered so quickly that she had returned to the memory room and the mansion. "I am here simply to find the truth, madame." The young witch said as she gazed away from one of the panels and into her eyes, her own amber eyes filled with a tired wariness within them. "I find it odd that many of these sorcerers and sorceresses die within levels that hold their greatest and darkest secrets or fears. Since you make this competition, I'm assumig that you dissect their minds for tidbits of information before the actual race."

. Lillet chuckled " Of course, what fun would this race be if there weren't some really challenging levels." she said " I mean if they can't overcome their fear then why let them continue." she said " So people die...what does it matter?" she asked. She laughed " So far only a few people have ever made it to the top beacuse most buckle under their fears and secrets and they die..why are you afraid of something?" she asked " Don't worry I'm not gonna kill you...just add you to my little collection." she said.

Larkanna clenched her hands into fists, "You kill ruthlessly! Some of them have families and many are barely old enough to even consider having them in the first place!" She snarled, anger blazing behind her amber eyes like a raging fire. "To kill in such gruesome and terrifying manners isn't a challenge... it's cold-blooded murder." The question as to whether she was afraid of somthing caught her off guard, but a hint of fear did flicker before vanishing, "Only a fool has no fears. A coward is someone who flees from them. And someone is only truly brave unless they face them head on. I am not worried about whether or not you're going to kill me, but to be added to a sick collection is pushing it."

. Lillet chuckled " This isn't murder, these people are fully aware of the chances they will die." she said " So what if I add one level where they have to face their fear or it will kill them." she said ' There's nothing wrong with that" and saw the small bit of fear in he eyes but she was able to get much from it " Oh...so thats what yuor afraid of?" she sided with a smile " Listen no one deserves to get to the top if they can't overcome such a simple obstacle ..yuor welcome to try and stop me but its a futile attempt." she said " I suggest you return home and wait for the race tomorrow." she said and turned to leave.

Larkanna spun on her heel, summoning a portal, "I fear that I'll lose Elkand, not being a coward." Stepping through the portal, it vanished as she returned to Elkand's mansion. Looking down at the symbol that tied her to him, she went over to a window, knowing that she wouldn't be able to sleep.

Elkand staff suddenly floated over to her and started to speak " You know that was quite dangerous Larkanna." it told her " Transporting yourself to the tower without Elkand, his step mother could have could have captured you and you would have never gotten away." he said " Those transformations are permanent after twelve hours, what would you have done if she did it to you?" it asked her seemingly angry.

Larkanna leaned her forehead against the cool window before listening to its words. "Because I intended to come up with a plan thta would allow us to get through the tower without caving in." Cringing at the thought of permanently being the woman's pet, she looked away, not answering for several minutes, "Our magic is stronger than whatever she can conjure up, but if I had not been able to change back... then I guess I wouldn't be here now, would I?"
