(Uh... I need to stop improvising. sweatdrop Darn my brain for making such wacky thoughts.)
Shan, though confused as he was, was actually glad that Nezu had another meaning for calling him a Koshaku. He was afraid of his life turning into one of those storybooks he read before. Why in the world did he get the wrong idea in the first place?
At seeing Shan's confusion, Nezushi chuckled. "Don't worry about it," he said. "Nowadays humans don't expect animals to be able to communicate, and the old law was lost a long time ago, so it's reasonable that you don't know."

Kanda reached the study then sat down. He sighed as he picked up a random book and started to read it. 'I wonder what the shrimp is doing..' Kanda thought then shook his head, surprising himself of thinking that at all and began to read again.

There was something going on inside Nezushi that he knew all too well. It was hard, trying to stand still and stare at Shan. He had known for a long time what that feeling was, but it was hard to figure out how exactly he had gotten it.
Without thinking, Nezushi leaned very close to Shan's face, feeling very strange when the boy blushed. It was wrong, he knew that. Shan was in love with someone else, so why was he trying to take advantage of their time alone?

Kanda sighed as he closed his book and rested it on the table. He couldn.'t keep reading. Everytime he did, Shan would pop up in his head like an unwanted guest who couldn't take a hint. This was making him very aggravted to the point he shook his head and tched.
He got up from his seat then headed to the shrimp's room. 'I'll just ask him to make me a snack is all..' He thought over and over again. 'Its not a big deal.' When he finally reached the door, he sighed then knocked on it and waited. "Oi, Shrimp. You in there?"

(I think my improvising stinks.)
At hearing the knocking of the door, Nezushi immediately moved away so that the man of the house won't get annoyed. Even he was creeped out by the guy. Who wouldn't be at least a little scared? Maybe someone stronger than Kanda-san, but otherwise no one in the village.

Kanda waited then grew a bit impatient when Shan didn't come to the door an dknocked again. "Oi! You in there? You better not be ignoring me on purpose."
(Sorry, All I got for tonight....need to go sleep now. The nyquil I took is kicking in+.+ Night...)

After snapping out of his confusion, Shan hurried to the door and opened it, growing afraid now that he saw the obviously irritated master. "I-I'm sorry," the slave apologized. "I must have been lost too deep in thought to have not answered the door when you knocked."
He was still blushing from what Nezushi had almost did, and yet he failed to realize it until now. Immediately, he looked away so the master wouldn't see, but there was that possibility that he had indeed seen the blush.

"Tch. Whatever. I'm just making sure your still on thiis planet." Kanda said as he put his hands in his pockets. He then looked at the boy's face and saw the blush and tilted his head. "Oi. You okay? Your really red." Kanda stated as he put a hand to Shan's face, making sure he didn't have a fever.

At feeling the master's hand on his face, Shan tensed and backed away, his blush darkening. He was so embarrassed, and for a reason he didn't want to tell the master. Right then he felt himself trembling. He felt a little scared since the master was standing there watching him and probably trying to figure out what was going on.

Kanda blinked when Shan stepped away from it. He could feel the tenseness when he placed his hand on the boy's forehead. He knew the shrimp didn't like him but was he that scared of him he can't even place a hand on him just to check to see if he was okay.
'Checking if he's okay...What is wrong with me..' Kanda said as he scrunched up his face slightly from the thought. That was a first he ever thougt of anyone besides himself when it came to seeing if they were okay. He hasn't done that since...no he wouldn't remember that day..All of it was in the past nw.
Kanda sighed lightly then looked at the boy who was trembling and looked close t fainting right there. "Whats wrong with you? Do you dislike me that much? Are you mad or something?" Kanda asked as he ran a hand through his hair as he sighed again in aggravation. He had no clue what to do now...and it kinda showed on his face.

Shan didn't dare look at his master's face. He was rather bothered that he acted on impulse. What was wrong with him? What right did he have moving away like that while the master was apparently inspecting him? It was like insulting him without words, and that was serious!
"N-no, I'm not m-mad or anything of the sort, and I don't really d-d-dislike you either," Shan stuttered. "I-I-I'm not really feeling so well." He wanted nothing more than to disappear right there. He wanted something, a sudden lightning bolt or a heart attack, to just take his life right now and end his troubles. He wanted something, anything, to happen as long as it would get him out of this situation.

Kanda looked at him as he blinked. "You don't dislike me..?" He asked, getting side tracked of what they were previously talking about. He..did NOT expect that answer. He was expecting to hear him say that Shan all out hated him. I mean look at what he did to the boy for heaven's sake.
And plus, most people got aggravated at him for his attitude and choose to stay away. So this was new to him and it made him feel a bit weird inside. "You sure about that?" HE asked again as he looked at him, thinking his answer was due to his illness, which Shan didn't really have for he wasn't ill.

Shan froze for a moment and then trembled again. 'Shoot, what did I say?' he thought to himself, panicking. How is he going to reply to that? All that happened was that he blurted something on impulse, so it's impossible to think of what to say next when terrified. Since the master is onto something now, how will Shan reply to the question? Might as well tell the truth or something near it.
"W-well, I'm afraid of you at times, yes, but I don't dislike you," he replied hurriedly. "Otherwise... um... otherwise... otherwise I would have run away again." Mentally sighing in relief, Shan stopped trembling, but he still didn't look up.

"Oh.." Kanda said as he understood wt the boy meant and nodded his head. "Alright then." He said as he continued to look at the boy. "Well...I guess I'll leave you." He stated. Since he figured the boy was 'ill' He would just leave him alone for awhile.
"See ya." HE said as he turned and began to walk to his room.

Once the master left, Shan breathed out a huge sigh of relief. For a moment, he thought he was done for. Still, why did he have a pang in his heart? It's not like he would want the master to know of his secret crush. It would most likely bring them both shame.
