"You bloodsmitten little cur! How dare you magic me!" Hanna snarled. All traces of enchantment vanished from her features as they were replaced by anger. "I should kill you!"

Ferin flinched. "Ah..." he mumbled. "Don't be like that Hanna. I didn't mean any harm." He hated to see her so angry. He had thought she would like the meadow after all. He didn't intend for the magic to rub off on her the way it had. He wouldn't have tried it if it hadn't been so long...

::Kallman had looked through the entire cave and nothing. No signs of Hanna anywhere. Kallman grunted to himself if only he could swim like her then he could travel the waterways. Kallman sat down on a rock and scratched his ear. "Where is she? Was she captured? Was she hurt?" thought Kallman. Kallman would hate himself if anything bad happen to her.
::Meanwhile at the swamp Charlie was thinking about Hanna. She looked just like her that she did. But could it really be her? After fiftheen years in his plant prison he had almost given up on the thought of her being alive. What if she do was forced to be a plant for the rest of her life. Charlie sighed to himself. Hanna was his only sister the water princess. Charlie was older but Hanna was the smart one. She had escaped the wrath of the one who turned Charlie into a plant. Charlie wished he could talk to her but the only words he could say were "Water princess"::

"'Don't be like that?!' Is that all you can say?!" she snapped. "It's been years since we parted, Ferin of Lisk. One would think you'd learned your lesson then!" She threw herself at him with teeth bared and fists clenched. Quote: The magician barely had time to get out of the way. One of Hanna's accurate fists drove into his shoulder despite his quick reflexes and he yelped, diving away. "Hanna stop! Cad é atá cearr san tusa?! Hanna spun in the air, bringing a roundhouse kick that sent the magician flying back. "I hate you!" she roared. Quote: Ferin landed on his feet and crossed an arm over his stomach where she'd kicked him. "I don't understand!" he shouted back. "Why are you so angry?!" She charged him again, but this time he was ready for her. He leapt over her kicks and ducked simultaneously under her fist. For what seemed hours he avoided her like that, until she had used up much of her energy and her anger had drained for the time being. "What did I do?" he finally managed to ask. They faced each other, each breathing heavily and too tired to fight anymore. Around them the meadow was still as it had been, and the yellow butterfly fluttered between them.

Hanna's eyes followed its path through the air, then flitted back to the magician's face. She turned away with a heavy sigh and closed her eyes, counting slowly to ten. "I'm sorry," she said finally, turning to face him again. "I've run into a few problems with magic lately and just...I'm still mad at you, don't get that wrong, but I'm sorry for...what just happened."

Ferin was still too confused to be angry and just rubbed the back of his head. "If you tell me what's going on, then I'll get rid of all this stuff, okay? Just-- don't kick me like that again, all right?" he replied.

::Kallman had almost given up when he saw a meadow and two figures in the meadow. One of them was female. Hanna.. He thought. He raced over sensing danger and rushed in front of Hanna blocking her from the magican.::

Hanna started as her friend appeared as if from nowhere and leapt between the two of them, blocking Ferin from sight. "Kallman?" she gasped. "How did you get here? How did you find me in this mess?" she asked, gesturing at the meadow.

"What do you mean?" Ferin said, waving his hand and making everything disappear. "It was just an illusion. You could've left a long time ago."

::Kallman stood beside her:: "I thought you were in danger so I came as fast as I could. And I find this magican making illusions. Hanna is he friend or is he an ememy?" ::Asked Kallman his fangs beared.

"I'll let you know," she replied, throwing the magician a dark look. "Hold on a minute Ferin," she said suddenly. "If it was an illusion, then why couldn't I get out? The cave was completely sealed before you showed up!"

Ferin frowned. "That can't be, Hanna. I walked right in here, and so did...um--" he muttered, taking Kallman in for the first time. "Anyway, my illusion couldn't have stopped you from leaving, not unless you were all ready magicked and well...we both know magic sticks to you as well as oil to water."

"Then why couldn't I get out?" she demanded, narrowing her eyes. Quote: Ferin only shook his head again, as perplexed as she was. "I don't know," he mumbled. So much for a happy reunion, eh? he thought to himself. "I only found you at all because..." he shifted, looking uncomfortably at Kallman. "Because you were you" he finished, not knowing how much Hanna trusted the wolf man. "He knows about that," Hanna said, glancing at her friend sidelong, and then around at the cavern. "I don't want to talk about it here," she said finally. "Something is queer about these caves. I suggest we leave as quickly as possible."

"I agree with Hanna. I will not let her stay a second longer." ::Kallman said as he transformed into his full wolf. He growled for her to get on and she did. Kallman raced back to the swamp. Not caring about the magican. Kallman didn't trust humans, not since that day.::
