I reccomend not dressing Lolita at all if you're just doing it to be different. I'm sorry but it just sort of makes me mad when I see people only doing stuff to get attention. This expands beyond Lolita for me as well, so don't think I'm just picking on you. 3nodding

I'm really sorry! sweatdrop I am a Lolita, I'm not fake. What I meant by it was that I wanted people not to get weirded out when I do wear Loli to school. I didn't mean for it to be taken that way. I am truly dedicated to being Loli, and I will always.

I'm sorry to anyone I confused... sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop Oh, well then if you're limited in your Lolita wardrobe, I recommend trying to blend it in with regular cloths. I know it's not really Lolita then, but until you get more Loli cloths, and unless you only want to wear it every once in a while, this is probably a good option for you. Like maybe wear a loli shirt with jeans or a big poofy skirt with like some sort of Putumayo-type t-shirt. Think sub-genres.

I'm also starting high school this year, and I was wondering about that myself.
What would be considered "too much" for the first day? I don't want to create any bad impressions.
Can you give me some feedback on this outfit? I was going to wear a cream Atelier Pierrot dress with a cherry print, white stockings, and non-brand shoes, with a cream headband.
...is that too much, do you think?

If you ask me, I think that'd be a perfect outfit for school~ 3nodding
Since my birthday is a week after school starts, I should have some money to spend on some Loli clothes. I was thinking about buying some casual clothes from Candy Violet, and I could wear them on fridays.

...is that too much, do you think? I'd say too much is like the big poofy, 8 pounds of lace angelic pretty/milky agne type of dress, only if you can't keep up that level of fancy. Atlelier Boz and aristocratic type cloths should be fine. But if you're going to do more cute/sweet/classic Lolita geared cloths, think more modestly:

That is a beautiful outfit! Do you have a shirt to wear under it? If it's too hot to wear one under, then that's okay. I think a cute shorter sleeved blouse under neath would look better, in my opinion. Are you going to wear a headdress of some sort?

Yes, where I live, it's 90+ degrees in the summer... usually over 100... ><;;
I was thinking some fake flowers on a barrette? Nothing too fancy. What do you think?

I wish that I could wear lolita to class. ._.
But there's too many chances of spilling ink, or paint, or clay, or some other staining substance on the clothing for it to be worth it. Maybe on Thursdays? I only have one class, and it's a lecture. Hrmm.

I just looked at Milky Ange dresses, and some of them are very appropriate for school, such as most of their Sailor type dresses. I wish I could afford it, but I can barely afford school supplies. I hope i can get a job soon so I take some guilt off of my mom.

Gahahahahaha.... First days are always the best day to leave an impression on people.
I intend on wearing a white blouse, hopefully new white shoes, white hose, and meh pink AP jsk.... GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH I LOVE IT.
Unless I can decide on which outfit from BABY I want. I'm still stuck on that...
If I decide SOON, it should be here before school starts....
