it is in my opinion that you are never too young to understand your feelings, people who disagree are just going with what they are told by the government and don't care about making people feel normal. sorry but i am an advocate for younger people, boys especially, to know that it is ok to feel how you do and even experiment if need be. but that is my opinion maybe i will do something about it one day, lol

I knew I was gay at 13 and now im a few months away from being 16 and im still gay so i thnk your alright. just be who you are and dont let anybody tell you your not who you are or what you should be. I think parents just say that in hopes that youll question yourself and make you straight. it dosent work, they said the same thing about me.

There's no age where a fairy poofs into your room and bops you on your head and you're somehow magically old enough to know your sexuality. I found out I was bisexual when I was 10, and now I'm 13 and I haven't doubted that. If I ever do, I'll be struck by lightning right after winning the Mega Millions on a day in July that just so happens to carry with it six feet of snow.
Go with your heart, dude! *nice guy pose*
*scrolls down*
Oh, look at that, you did. Well, my opinion still stands. *grin*

I'm glad you figured out your sexuality! But to answer your original question: No, it's not too young to figure out if you're gay or not. Some people might take longer than others, but as long as you're sure the feelings you have are real, then you're ready to accept it. My sister is 12 and she suspects she may be bi. She likes to tease me a lot about my proportions...

Well, that was exactly what my parents told me when I... Well, it kinda leaked from me having my first boyfriend, because my parents are anti-gay and everything. My mom was like: "You're too young to know that you're gay!" (This is in the middle of the argument, though it wasn't necessary for me. She thinks its a choice.. Ha! Yeah right!) And I retaliated, of course: "Well, am I old enough to know I'm straight??"
I'm sixteen, and I began having feelings towards other guys since 7th grade. But still, you shouldn't come out until you know for sure that you are... Once you tell anyone, there's no going back. That's why I said I was bi when I came out to my friends, which basically meant, "I think I like both, but I need to figure out who I am first."

I was out at thirteen so its not too young. I was not sure on things when I came out and I came out as strictly gay, but I have learned a few things...cutting my rant off, just don't freak out and things will settle into place.

no you are not to young. I have been bisexual since i was eleven years old. it is your choose if you are or not. just find someone you can trust and knows what he or she is doing. I have always wandered do i like boys or do i like girls better? who knows as for you. your parents cant tell you if your two young or not so i say your not but it is ultimatily up to you.

This isn't really a question that you can give a yes or no answer to. My brother is gay, and we've known pretty much since we were in middle school because he was pretty flaming, but he did not come out until we were in college.
I think 13 is possibly too young to be putting a label on yourself, but it isn't too young to actually be gay, since you are from birth (it's not a choice, believe me. My brother was a 3-year-old drag queen, 20 years later he's a professional ballet dancer dating another man). At that age, though you are still going through puberty, though possibly nearing the tail end of it. Your body is doing a lot of strange things that you probably aren't used to. It's completely alright to experiment, but I say wait to put labels on yourself until you are absolutely positive or you might regret it later.

I think I was probably bisexual before I even knew what sexual preferences were. I mean, I knew I was looking for the man of my dreams, and I even had an incredibly hot imaginary boyfriend when I was in middle school, but at the same time, Amy Lee looked drop-dead gorgeous to me, and I was falling head over heels for my best friend who is, you guessed it, a girl, like me. And then I found Bryce, and he told me I should just get over it and embrace the bi-ness. And I have.
In short, 13 is NOT to young to experience sexual feelings for anyone of any gender. You might need a little while to actually define your sexuality, like I did, but you can't change what you feel, and your parents can't change that either.

Go with the flow comrade. I always gave myself a chance to figure out if I liked or disliked something. Starting with girls, then I hesitated but found myself liking boys, then I met an interesting hermaphrodite and I just could not help myself. Experimentation or whatever, the easiest way of knowing is trying. I'm not saying sleep just try out the grounds. You'll figure it out if you just go with the flow.

I'm only 13 my self, but I do believe that we're capable of making our OWN decisions about our different sexualities, heck, I'm pretty sure I'm bi.
Point is, just do what YOU think you should do and don't let others influence your decisions about yourself. Cuz it's YOUR decision. Not theirs.
