I kinda like it...
As long the voices match the character's personality then I'm all good.
I just hope that L has a british accent... hehe... xD

I thought first I would laugh but that mostly made my cry...
That's horrible, sorry.
The effect of Light's voice is gone... He sounded like a teen...
Light's supposed to sound like a MAN!!! MAN I SAY!!!
The Japanese Raito is so much better.
And there's a little insanity in his voice in some parts, in the dubbed it's all gone...
All gone, all gone, all gone... cry

D= Well, I feel sorry for the people who're gonna get their first impression from the American dub. crying I suppose the anime'll still be good, but still... the VOICES... Ugh, just hearing it makes me want to shoot myself.. WAAAAHHHHHH! crying damn it i hate it wen ppl ******** with my favorite anime! scream and i agree its an awesome anime but the can get a bad impression!

6 seconds into it and I felt like shanking myself.....Ratiou's voice bugs me. TT__TT I hope L's will be good. I suppose I've heard worse dubs though...*CoughSailorMoonCough*
Edit: On the plus side of that trailer though, there was plenty of L in it. ^^ And there was a pretty cute shot of him in it too. =3 I wish they woulda played his dub voice though instead of the distorted voice...I mean why not just play it for a second or two?

O_O;; Oh dear...Oh dear...Oh dear...Oh dear....*passes out* I think that when the dub comes out, I'll buy the limited edition one for the Ryuk figure and I'll watch the dubbed version at least once just to see what everyone sounds like, and then after that, I'll watch it in Japanese and stick to it in Japanese....
*I agree that the Japanese distorted voice wasn't that bad.

Umm...If you watch that trailer, get to the time 1:31 I beleive, and you'll hear L's English dubbed voice say "If you can" In my opinion, it's not too bad, but I like his Japanese voice better. O_O If I watched the dubbed voice enough times, I'd get used to it..((Just like if you watch about 13 episodes of Sailor Moon SuperS you can eventually get used to Moon Gorgeous Meditation, but it'll still be annoying. And I was about ready to stab my vhs player after having to listen to Chibi Usa say "Please Pegasus, Protector of Dreams! CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL! D=" )) BUT I STILL WANNA WATCH IT IN JAPANESE!!!

This trailer might bug you more or make you like Light's voice in the other trailer just an itty bitty bit more because it sounds worse in this one, at least in my opinion...

Well I've seen that trailer... 3 times now... [stabs self] Yeah... Raito sounds way too normal and young... it bugs me. Though as I do with my other favorite anime if they put it on TV dubbed I'll just tape it and watch it when I get bored for the hell of it. Cuz I can watch the sub whenever I want and if I buy the DVD I can anyway.

O dear god....*keels over dead* THE VOICES!!!!!! X_x Lights voice was absolute horrible!! it doesn't fit him at all!!!! L's was distorted, but !!!!
