I play piano a lot, but in Marching Band I'm the school's first Mallet Percussion. I play on all our cheap school has: a marching xylophone played on a table. mrgreen
I can't do 4 mallets, though, as I specialize in piano.
Also, I personally am our school's first official Pit member ever. wink And about 10,000th in this place.

I can play anything in keyboard format except the organ because I've never touched one...... D:
anywho! I do xylo / bells this season, hallos.
but really, I'm a guitarist. dramallama Piano is something I do to supplement musicality that my parents made me do as a kid. and my parents made me do viola too. asian thing. in dl I'm a cymbalist but I've almost had it up to my eyeballs with it!

Personally, I play almost nothing but mallet percussion. Quite partial to my school's Musser xylophone and marimba. But the vibraphone is intimidating to me. Also, I play a ton of different accessory percussion. Aiming to save up a bit of money and get a marimba of my own one day. ^_^ And to Buickmaster: Amen! I got it on my ring as well! >u<

I love the marimba. Its been my passion for a few years now. I'm a pretty decent player (according to my BD). I've had a few solos this year and am hoping for more next semester. Though I do love the vibes. I like xylo's too but sometimes they just need softer mallets xd

I'm a Percussion geek. ^o^ Last chair in the middle band but I play second-chair stuff because I loath snare/aux with a passion. :3 Give me four mallets or give me death!

I played marching bells last year and that was fun as crap. xD I play mallet percussion in concerts. Well, thats cause I'm the only one who can read music. Sad, right?

- furuba_kyuubii, lol, same here. I'm one of the last chairs thanks to my dislike (to put it nicely) of snare, but everyone says I'm the best mallet player where I am... it's fun to hear my director to mention how bad I am at drums then mention how i should major in mallets or something though 4laugh
