Sighing, Haruka was left alone. She slowly opened the door, and climbed into Yuri's bed. It felt awkward. Not only was it not her bed, but she hadn't slept in a bed at all for the past year. She laid down, closed her eyes, and drifted off to into a restless sleep.

Day Five. . .Me thinks. . .Points for trying!

Alex stirred a little in his sleep, waking up just moments later. He looked around the room as much as he could without moving before he rolled over onto his back, staring up at the ceiling. Upon doing that, he felt something clinging to him, daring to look and finding Yuri sleeping beside him, keeping close, almost sleeping on top of him. If he could, he probably would have gotten straight up. But he couldn't and, instead, ended up looking back at the ceiling, his face redder than before.

After some time, he sat up, careful not to wake the girl next to him as he gently took her arms from around him, then got out of bed, stretching just a little bit. He wasn't all that tired right now, yet a small part of him wanted to go back into bed. He shrugged; it didn't really matter at this point. He walked out of the room and down the hall, heading towards the living room. Once there, he stood over by a window, looking out at the clear blue sky. He couldn't help but smile, even a little bit. Probably a good thing.

Alex opened up the window, letting in a cool breeze and running some things through his mind. Tohru had said that he was getting a house. . .maybe he would hang around there until his own was fixed up. He also still needed to find Shin, where ever the boy was. He just hoped he was fine. "Idiot. Where'd you end up?" he muttered quietly. He coughed into his free hand; it was getting worse over time, he knew that. He turned away from the window and walked over to the couch and sat down, leaning back. Both girls were asleep by the sounds of things, and he had no intention of waking either of them. He also didn't want to stay in the house for very long, but at this point he may as well be trapped in a prison cell.

Yuri opened her eyes, a little dazed at first before she sat up, stretching and yawning just a little. he rubbed one eye, trying to get the sleep out before she looked around the room; Alex wasn't there. She let out a small sigh before she got out of bed and wandered over into the closet that was in the guest room; true, it was mostly clothes that didn't fit her, but that didn't mean there wasn't something.

After what seemed like a half hour, the girl pulled out a small white dress. She glanced at it for a minute before she made sure the door was closed and locked and changed into it. Wearing it felt kind of strange, but she didn't mind. She didn't want to end up waking Haruka over a change of clothes. She smiled, walking over to the door of the guest room and opening it up after making the bed. She looked up and down the hall before she headed over to the kitchen, passing by the living room and spotting Alex sitting there with his arms propped up and his head resting on his hands.

"What's on your mind?" Yuri asked, walking over to Alex.

Alex looked up quickly, turning in the direction he'd heard the voice, relaxing when he saw it was only Yuri. "Nothing important, really. More or less just figuring out how I can get my house back."
"I see." Yuri sat down beside Alex, not really looking at him, but not annoyed, either. More or less, she was staring at her hands in her lap, apparently in thought. "You know. . .it's not really good to keep things bottled up."
"You're saying that, too?"
"I'm being serious."
"I know you are."
Yuri sighed, turning her gaze at Alex, a sad look in her eyes. "Hear me out, okay?" she asked before taking a deep breath and continuing. "I know there are probably things that you'd much rather keep to yourself, but sometimes, it's way better to let them out, you know? And if you keep all the bad things locked up inside, eventually, they will eat you up. And worse, they might kill you at the same time."
"That's what--"
"Listen!" Yuri interrupted, not looking at the boy anymore; her right hand was tightened over her left in her lap. She didn't want to be angry, but she wasn't going to get her point across if she wasn't. "I know you've been told this before. . .probably by a lot of people. But you never seem to get it. You don't seem to get a lot of things until I say them." She tightened her grip still. "You'll end up dying if you aren't careful. And. . .I don't want that."
Alex looked at Yuri, a little surprised at the girl for a minute. He'd never seen her act like this before, which led him to believe she'd planned on saying this for a while. He smiled softly before hesitantly putting an arm around her and drawing her close to him. "I don't plan on dying that easily. I'll put up a fight if I have to, but I'm not dying."
"But--"
Alex put one finger to Yuri's mouth, hushing her up. "Don't worry, alright? Besides. . .I've got too many people that I'd upset if I left. I'm not sure I'd be forgiven." He grinned before letting go of Yuri and leaning back into the couch and looking up at the ceiling. "Shin and Tohru, for one, would probably get really mad. Tohru, I've seen him mad before. Shin. . .not yet. And I don't plan on finding out." He turned his head, looking at Yuri. "Hey. . .have you seen Shin around anywhere?"
"Haven't seen him in a year. Sorry."
Alex sighed before he put one hand over his mouth and coughed into it again. So it's happening more often too? he asked himself. He sat up, not really able to stop himself for another minute. When he did, he found he as out of breath, which he hadn't really expected at all.
"What's wrong? Are you sick?" Yuri asked, concern in her voice.
"N-No. . .I'm fine."
Yuri wasn't convinced. She put one hand on Alex's forehead, under his hair. "Oh, you've got a fever. Just a small one, though." She stood up and walked over to the bathroom, looking in the medicine cabinet and pulling out what she needed before returning to Alex, holding a little bottle of pills then handing them over. "This should help just a little. And it's either this or one that actually has taste."
Alex held the bottle in front of him, looking at them. "What's this?" he asked as he blinked.
"Medicine to keep your fever from growing." She went over to the kitchen, getting a glass and filling it with water and returning, handing it over to Alex. "You'll need this."
Alex blinked again and accepted the glass of water after taking a pill from the bottle. He put the pill in his mouth and drank the water, swallowing the two together. "For something that doesn't have taste, it's really bitter," he said, setting the glass down and shaking his head. "What was that stuff again?"
"Medicine~!"
"Suspicious. . ."
Yuri smiled, glad that Alex was feeling much better. "Suspicious? Maybe. Or maybe you're just weird."
"Ouch. Cruel much?" He laughed a little; he did feel a lot better now. He took her hand in his and led her back to him so that she was sitting on his lap. With his free hand, he pointed a finger on her forehead. "Care to remind me again why I'm in love with you?"
"I don't have a clue!"
Alex kissed Yuri softly for a moment, breaking away with a soft smile. "Not like it matters much."
Yuri blushed lightly, a little surprised. Looking at Alex, she saw that he was smiling. . .though his eyes seemed a little sad. She didn't question, but she returned the smile before getting off the boy and standing up. "Well, like I said back in the forest, you can stay here as long as you need to. And if you need to talk about something, let me know, alright?"
"R-Right."
Yuri snapped her fingers suddenly, running over to the basement and looking in some of the boxes, trying to find something.
"What're you doing?" Alex asked, following her, though staying by the door.
She didn't answer. While looking in one particular box, however, she brightened up, pulling out a rather handsome-looking outfit. "I'm pretty sure you'd prefer to change, right?" She walked back over to Alex, handing him the clothes. "They belonged to my dad when he was your age. They might be a little big, but it should work."
"Thanks. . .I think." Alex looked at the clothes; they did look nice, but he wasn't sure if he should borrow them.
"Come on, come on. You can change in the guest room, seeing how it's empty," Yuri sighed, leading Alex towards the room. Once there, she pushed him in, giving him a small smile. "And it's really alright. I wouldn't offer if it wasn't." With that said, she gently closed the door behind her, leaving the boy to change.
Alex looked at the door that was shut before turning his gaze to the folded clothes. Setting them down on the bed, he pulled the shirt up, looking at them, just a little confused, though he did like them. "It's better than staying in these old clothes," he shrugged, putting the shirt down and undressing out his old clothes and into the new ones. They really were a little too big, the sleeves going just a couple inches past his wrist and covering a part of his hand. He walked out of the door of the room, walking back into the living room to Yuri. "Somehow. . .I'm just a little embarrassed now," he said with a small smile. "But. . .thanks."
"Anytime," Yuri said, looking up from the book she had been reading. "It's not too big?"
"Not at all. Well, not that I'm not grateful, but I'm going out for a little bit. I'll be back later on, alright?"
"Alright. Take care! And watch your fever."
"I will," Alex sighed as he walked to the front door and right out of the house.

Shin arrived at yuris house knocking at the door hoping the girl was still home "Come on princess, your prince is kinda waiting out here for ya" he said looking back to alex and sasha, glad the boy was still out.

Yuri looked up from the paper she was looking at. Setting it down, she walked to the front door after hearing a knock. She opened the door, a little surprised to find Shin and Sasha there, as well as Alex, unconscious.
"It's more like a delivery, you could say. He got tired again," Sasha smiled. "Can we come in?"
"Eh? Ah, sure. . .come in," Yuri said quickly, stepping aside for them.
Sasha walked inside, bringing Alex inside as well and making sure none of the water dripped; that would be just rude.
"Head to the guest bedroom. Second door on the right," Yuri said; she couldn't help but feel just a little worried as she watched Sasha lead the boy towards the said room. "Well, at least that's one worry out of his way."

"Whats one less worry for him?" shin asked as he followed sasha and the unconcious boy into the room "Oh and yuri, its good to finaly see you again, thanks for taking care of lex" he said smiling.

Yuri laughed a little as she shut he front door and followed the other two. "He was worried about her," she said, pointing at Sasha. "And of course I'd take care of him. If I didn't, then I couldn't say that I love him."
Sasha transferred Alex from the bubble to the bed gently before she poked the bubble once and led it outside of the house, letting it pop gently, spraying the nearby plants. She returned shortly, smiling happily. "One giant bubble has popped. Sorry, Shin."

"Heh, yeah I guess thats true isnt it, still im glad" he said smiling as sasha came back in "Hey, thats no fair, I wanted to pop the thing" he laughed a little "Your gonna have to make more of those things, they would be great at a party, fun giant water bubbles"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 15, 2007 4:16 pm

"They're big, they're fun, and best of all, they're great for torture! Shame I'm not selling," Sasha laughed. She sat on the end of the bed, looking at the two older people. Then she looked around the room, having this being the first time she'd been in it before. Then she shrugged, looking at Shin again. "if you want to pop one so badly, you'll have to provide a big area and the water source. I don't come cheap!"

Shin just smiled "No im good for now, heh, dont think I can magicaly make water appear, maby if kitty cat were here then we could have some fun" he said smiling "Dont think I wanna have to pay for a giant bubble either, dont I get a friends discount?" he asked happily.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 15, 2007 4:31 pm

"Maybe." She walked up to Shin and poked him again. "You sure you're fine?"

"ouch, quit poking, and not sure im fine, but im sure im a lot better than I was" he said smiling at the girl. "No worries kay? Dont need to waste your powers on me ya know" he said smiling.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 15, 2007 4:42 pm

"I will if it stops Alex from worrying," Sasha said simply, pointing at her brother. "He was hiding it. Really well, actually, but he was worried. Besides, why would I offer if it was a waste?"
"She speaks the truth and she has a point," Yuri agreed.
"Besides, it can't be fun feeling broken."

"Yipes allright allright, you two win, Ill let you heal me kay?...so long as it keeps lex from worrying" he said with a small laugh "Your scary ya know, your not supposed to know how I feel" he said shaking his head as he sat down on the bed. "Talked down by a couple of girls, scary" he said smiling.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 15, 2007 4:51 pm

"Living with Alex for a while, you pick up a few things," Sasha smiled, putting one hand on Shin's shoulder and started to heal his body. It only took a few minutes, but it was still a little long.
"I'm honestly starting to think that you and Alex are a lot more alike than you look. For one thing, neither of you seem to want your injuries healed," Yuri said, thinking about it carefully before she shrugged. "At least we know why you guys get along so well."
"They're both crazy, too. Can't forget that!"
"Very true," Yuri said giggling just a little.

Shin let out a small sigh as he felt sasha heal him "You two hush, me and lex are nothing alike, heh, my personality is much more bright and sunny than his" he said looking at them "Yeah, were nuts and were stubborn, probably why we get along so well, doubt id ever get a chance to see lex though if I didnt keep forcing my self on him, hes got to get tired of being followed by me" he said as he ran a hand through his hair.
