((I'm going to be off line for a week. So I'm just going to move my character out of the way untill I get back. Sorry.)) Her fear was obvious. The way the sweat ran down her face the way her eyes looked at him. It is then he decides against fighting her. She was too scared to make it interesting. He smiled looking at her. Should he answer? She obviosly didn't know what he was. He considers for a moment. In the end he decides against it. It might be interesting but at the same time it might not. "Nothing. But prehaps when we meet again I will want to fight you. Or not. Prehaps I will simply want to talk." He shrugs. He has no intention of staying in an area that he had been called to. The next Death Dealer to cross was going to pay for it's bosses annoyance. He turns away. He waves a hand using a bit of power to memorize her essence so he would be able to find her again. This Grim Reaper might provide some amusment yet. "Till we meet again. Which I think we shall. One peice of advice. There is another unearthly being nearby." A demon by the feel of things. He has no interest in demons today. Only Death Dealers. He walks away. His walk is slow and aimless. He keeps his mind open for the next Death Dealer to come near him.

Penelope watched as the unknown species ambled away, not a care in the world. Emotions of confusion, anxiety heighted with much veloctiy. A pronounced knot formed in her stomach, making her quite ill.
His remark, "One peice of advice. There is another unearthly being nearby," angered her for she is a lot more powerful than he thinks she is.
He probably thinks that I'm not worthy of his time and he's the greatest thing that ever happened. What arrogance.
She glared.
She bellowed to him as he was down the street, "I already knew that another presence was near!"
She marched out of the alley, rolling her eyes when he was a good distance away and into the revealing moonlight. A brisk wind blew from the north and shot a chilling shiver down her spine. Penelope crossed her arms in hopes of warmth. She turned to her right and eyed a young demon walking toward her, but she seemed completely harmless. Hearing a quiet murmur from the demon, Penelope strolled up to her for better hearing. Still the street was as deserted as the moon above them.
"Is there something you want?" the grim reaper inquired, thoughtfully.

Danielle watched the talk go on between the demon and the reaper with mild curiousity, wondering who they were, and what their story was. The girl yelled after the man whom left, ignoring her angry shout, before the one she'd assumed to be an angel looked to her, scanning her for a moment as if determining her strength or something.
'A reaper...'
Danielle realized this a bit too late, and was immediatly worried that she was in danger. She hoped she wasn't here to guide her soul into death... Dani didn't want to alert the heavenly being of her fear, and so when questioned she shyly voiced her question to the reaper.
"I'm um... Just trying to find the park... I lost my way, so, would you happen to know where it is? I'm not sure where I am, so I don't know how to get back..." She kept her gaze downward a little, not looking directly at the girl before her.

((SO sorry for a late reply... I was writing a reply to your latest post and it got COMPLETELY deleted. I, of course, got very angry and forgot to write another one. sweatdrop ))
Penelope cocked her head in slight confusion of why this young demon wouldn't look her in the eye. Then it dawned on her, and she hit her head indicating an "OH YEAH." She felt quite stupid. A bitter wind from the north struck the two females delivering a shivver down the spine. Penelope crossed her arms in hopes to make her less freezing but failed miserablly so she clapped her hands together, rubbing for the friction.
"Don't be alarmed, I'm not here for you," she regretted saying that. It sounded quite scary."Uh, well, I don't have the slightest clue of where this park is but maybe we could search together. Two heads are better than one," Penelope laughed nervously. The harsh wind blew hard, skinning her delicate face. "We need to get out of this cold before you catch a cold. And may I ask why you are going to the park in this weather?"
Penelope advanced to get closer to the demon, trying her best to be most welcoming, but she never really have people skills.

[[lol, it's okay, I understand what you mean. That's happened to me a couple times and I completely lost modivation once I lost the original post. x3]] Danielle shivered quiet violently in the harsh, icy winds, wishing she had something warmer to cover her, and thought about how tonight would be rough. She still kept her gaze adverted to the snowy ground, unsure if it was wise to look the reaper in the eye. It was then that the girl before her spoke. "Don't be alarmed, I'm not here for you," Danielle's head snapped up, her blood colored eyes slightly widened but she said nothing. The reaper continued to speak as the harsh wintery winds picked up, blowing around them with a tad more ferocity, cradleing Dani's bare face and hands with fingers of sharp ice causing another shiver to erupt in her spine.
Blush slightly warmed Danielle's face when the other girl inquired of her reasons for going to this elusive park. As a demon, it was quite embarrassing to say you lived in a park, having no shelter of your own, but what else could she say? She had no excuse but the truth...
"I... I live there... Times are hard.. and I h-havn't been able t-to find a j-job." Her teeth chattered slightly as the blistering winds whipped about her thin body. "I don-don't want to go with the D-Death Dealers, so I-I'm o-out of luck. I mi-might have to j-join their r-ranks any-anyw-way..." Her gaze was back on the ground where her feet shifted nervously. Would this woman decide to spear her now for being a potential Death Dealer? She hoped she wouldn't... She just wanted to get to the park and try to sleep... If she slept, mabye she'd make it through the rough night that obviously laid ahead. [[Is it winter time? I'm not sure... >.< Sorry...]]

((We'll make it winter. =D))
Penelope watched the timid demon shift her weight in nervousness. Her hopes sunk for she knew what she said did not help anything, at all. She has never been able to know what to say at the right time but it's probably something she never master. Interaction with any race was not EVER her strong point.
"I... I live there... Times are hard.. and I h-havn't been able t-to find a j-job," she spoke through her icy lips, rendering Penelope speechless.
Her eyes wided in horror at the very thought of sleep out in this weather. She pittied this demon with every ounce of her lifeless body even if she could be in with the Death Dealers. No one deserves to freeze to death, no one.
"How about I get you some warm food?" Penelope inquired. "Maybe a bar? I do know that there is one near here."
She knew about the bar because she delivered one of the men who died there to Hell.
"I know that bars can be scary, but you need food and a blazing fire to warm up."
((In EVERY story with the world ending, they somehow have bars open and that's basically the only thing functioning. So I decided to add this for reasons that there is still organization outside of the Death Dealers. ._. Plus, the world has changed and not much goes on except Beer and Death and think of the bar as the shady hangout for foes to beat each other senseless with beer and food. sweatdrop ))
((PS. Sorry for such a short reply. I've been UBER busy.))

Danielle felt her stomach clench tightly at the mention of food, glacing down at her empty food basket. She hadn't had a full meal in weeks, months even, just living on whatever she could scrounge up through stealing or whole food she finds on the street. Honestly, she be glad for anything to eat, but the offering of a warm meal was something incredible, it was like sweet music to Dani's ears.
"R-really? You mean... You'd buy food... for me?"
Dani would never admit it, but bars kind of did scare her. In these times many people, men and women alike dragged themselves to the bar to drink themselves into oblivion, wanting to escape the cruelties of the world they inhabited. Who could blame them though? Their homes, their jobs, and even thier lives to a certain extent had been overrun by corrupt demons.
She nodded gently, her wide ruby eyes simply staring at the reaper for a moment. "Thank you." She said suddenly. A light blush once more found it's way to the pale skin of her face when she realized the strange way she'd suddenly blurted out dull words of appriciation. "You're helping me," she began, trying to fix-up what she'd started, "and you don't even know my name or my story... So... Thank you. I wish I could express the great gratitude I hold in me right now, but words truely can't do it justice." For the first time in her life she felt like she'd been blessed by her aquaintance with this reaper. "I am in your debt." A small smile tugged at her small mouth. ((Yeah, that's very true. I wonder why that is... xD
@PS.; No prob! I get busy alot too. I just had sugery on my toe. ;_; It's minor though! No need to worry, but it did hurt. ><))

A smile creased his face ever so slightly at her parting remark. His face returned imediatly to normal after. He continued on his way. He would definatly return to here after he took care of business. Following anyone's call was foriegn to him. He searched outwards trying to find any death dealers near by. THere were a couple near enough for him to find. Both were too strong to make him want to fight them. Fighting was fun but being injured was not. He could kill them but he would be hurt as well. He had hoped to find a weak one to vent his displeasure on. He sighed, he would have to find something else to do.
In these fallen times finding something to do was getting harder. Once he would have gone hunting palidins and knights. Later had fun destroying mafia rings. He was chaos he would do no good with out an equal evil. Maybe he should have stayed with the girl and the nearby demon. Surely it would have been more interesting. He stopped and considered for a moment. He shrugged he would head back in her direction. If he found something that looked more interesting then he would change course. But she looked to be the most interesting thing around. He cloaked himself in power so no humans nearby would see him and so few otherworldly beings would even sense him. He knew that she would see right through the cloak though. It only worked for hiding from humans and lesser beings. Two great wings burst from his back. One midnight black the other pure white. He took to the air. He considered throwing lightning at the few humans near him, but decided against it. It had entertained him when he was younger but now it seemed a piontless waste of energy.

"I am in your debt," the demon said.
Penelope smiled as warmly as much as she possiblly could though her lifeless black eyes didn't help at all.
"You don't owe me a thing, you deserve a warm meal. I can tell you are a good being, so don't worry about this," the grim reaper replied. "Now, let's go get you some food."
Penelope hasn't had a warm meal in ages for grim reapers don't need food to survive. They exist only for their purpose: to send people to where they belong. Grim reapers don't breathe, eat, have a beating heart, nothing. They are truely dead but live at the same time. When Penelope was appointed to become a grim reaper, she asked God if she was a zombie, but God just laughed.
She began to walk forward, to lead the demon of where they were going but stopped as she looked in the black, freezing sky and saw the unknown species she was talking to eariler flying high above them with mismatching wings, very peculiar. Penelope was still oblivious of what he was and needed to know. She just HAD to know.

He soon saw them below him. So small from up here. A small lightnig orb grows in his hand he considers throwing it. It might be funny but it would prevent any more talking. He throws the lighing into the sky Iluminating it. She already had seen him he knew. She was strong how strong he didn't know. He wished to talk more to this dead yet not dead thing. A nothing like himself. He folded his wings and dived. He decided to be melodramatic. White and black lightning cousred over his body illuminating it. It might be amusing to see her expression.

((SUPER SORRY FOR SUCH A LATE REPLY. I've been going through a lot and I didn't want to write for a couple days. Sorryyyyy. And sorry for such a small response.))
She gawked at the flying male as he shot lightning into the sky above, yet hesitated before he threw. The sky lit up like white fire for a couple seconds, brightening the sky to almost look like it was day. Now, the lightning surrounded the unknown male, brightening his body and ego. Yet the black sky returned with only the man surging with light around him.
Penelope tried to hide her fear again, for that show of power means trouble for her, absolute danger. Yet, she stood tall next to the demon, masking her emotions.
What am I going to do? He's obiviously more powerful than I. But he can't get in my way to finish my task. Oh no, my task! I've strayed so far from my duty. But.. I have to kill him. OH GOD, I don't know if killing him will make anything better.
While she thought, she never looked away as he dove to the ground, with such ease.

He smiled showing his amusement. Scaring her had more then made up for some of his earlier annoyance. He pulled up right before he hit the gorund, The lightning vanished and his wings disappeared. He dropped the last foot to the ground and landed on his feet. "Hello again." He bowed slightly mocking yet slightly as though he honored her. "I was bored." he says this as though that is why he came. It could be a weird resoon for most people, but for him it was the truth. If talking with someone releived the boredom he would talk to anyone.

[[OMG!!!! I'M SO SORRY I HAVN'T REPLIED IN LIKE FOREVER!!!! I DIDN'T REALIZE THERE WERE OTHER POSTS!! crying I'm sowwy... *tries to make up for it with a fixer post*]] Danielle didn't know what to say. Most people just ignored her, so it was something somewhat strange for her to be given such respect and complements, or better yet, be offered food.
"Th-thank you..." She said softly, unable to formulate something more full of her grateful feelings. She felt some what unintelligent, as if she lacked the common skill of forming the proper words to express the level of her gratitude.
Danielle followed Penelope dutifully, and when she stopped, so did she. She glanced over at the reaper, seeing her looking to the sky and followed her gaze. Danielle hadn't really been scared yet, just mostly curious as to what sort of being could have such strangely paired wings. She watched though. as lightning formed in his broad palm, stretching out to a great level of visibility, and fear struck her as if he'd thrown the blot directly at her chest.
She shrank back slightly with a soft yelp when he tossed the lightning into the sky instead of at the two who remained grounded while he hovered high above. It was a shameful thing to admit for one such as herself, but she was easily startled by things such as lightning and thunder. Despite this fear though, she brought her gaze back up to the man in the sky in time to see him pull his wings in tight and dove at them, a look of pure terror clear in her wide ruby orbs. She shamelessly moved a bit closer to the reaper with a whimper, hiding behind her in a way.
He stopped in front of Penelope, and curiousity got the better of her. Dani peered out from the side of the small reaper's shoulder, not wanting to fully reveal herself to this strange character just yet.

He noticed the demon hiding behind the reaper. Interesting, most Grim Reapers either killed or ignored deamons. This pair was definatly going to releive his boredom for a bit. "And hello to you as well cousin." He siad grinning. He wasn't related to her directly but she was a demon and since he was half demon the had a bit of the same ansestry. He had realised by this piont that niether knew what he was. Few even knew of the crime comited so long ago.

Danielle jumped slightly when the he caught sight of her and she blushed, feeling shy, and hid again behind the reaper. She wasn't used to being treated in a familiar manner, and it made her feel shy-er than normal. [[sorry.. shortness. sweatdrop ]]
