Ah, just babbling about how you should avoid buying Ikkitousen (Battle Vixens) and just get a good scanslation >,< I don't recommend that for any other anime cause I'm all about supporting the industry, but... the translation is pure junk.
Ahhh Clamp... someday I will pick up Tsubasa. And read more of Holic. I liked it. Just been reading other things.

Yes yes I will >,< Like the art in both of them well enough to be very interested. Just finding time is all... *bah bad excuse >,<*
Firstly I kinda want to catch up with Bleach, then I'll be all sowed on the Jump "big 3" (One Piece Naruto Bleach) manga. I guess I oughta count DGM, but I am not really interested in D-Grayman, having read vol. 1, but I do like Blue Dragon Ral Grad... Mostly cause I love Obata's artwork. Yes, you all should know who this is, Obata drew Death Note. He is one of the best mangaka in the business.
If you havent read Death Note well... youve missed like one of the best manga out there. I was literally (and this never happens to me) unable to put it down, and was kept on edge the entire time up to vol. 8. After that it kinda gears down, then ratchets back up again, but it was awesome on the whole. Vol. 1 to 7 are like the best of all manga... The look on Light's face when everything goes down in vol. 7 is like the best moment in all of manga moments. wink
One other one I like that has yet to be scanslated but is really nifty is Pandora Hearts, its very Clamp-like, yet is full of interesting Alice in Wonderland kind of stuff. =)

Death Note is freaking AMAZING. I could barely breath when I read it. but I've only read up to vol. 6 and seen episode one. In august, I plan to catch up on the Death Note anime and more Bleach. (because then I'll have fast internet!) I'll buy death note one day (I borrowed all that from a friend last summer). Oh, adn I have ot watch the movie too. ><;
So many spoilers about it though, on gaia and on the internet. I'm sure I'm in denial about a few rumored things. >.>;
I also need to sit down and watch more of the GetBackers I bought. That I can do before the other stuff. I can't even think of what I want to get. Buying those two Shojo beats got me into all kinds of girly manga. But it's good stuff, and better than gore most of the time. XP

And you mean movies, there are 3 Death Note live action movies. The second one was out here in Japan around November/December, and the third is coming this summer I guess. I didn't get around to seeing it but I have heard very good things from rather hardcore fans so thats a good sign.

Eh... all of the time? I think I'd rather read the Nana drama and giggle over that then some possessed dog eating it's master and leaving the head on the stairs. =/
GetBackers is pretty graphic though. It's my exception I suppose.
I do? Oh. Well. I have two to watch then... I've tried watching the first one, got about 4 minutes in or so, maybe (I have dial up internet, loading videos is a pain Dx stupid living in the country). It looks so good, from the pictures I've seen and stuff. Though I hear the ending's different? No, ti was how Light got the Note.
I went to the bookstore today and got DN 6 and 7. So I can refresh and continue >.< I bought a few more manga and a bazillion books too.

Sephirob It happens hehe! Romance of the Three Kingdoms eh? Yeah it's cool stuff actually... you really need to check out Ikkitousen, its a great take on 3 Kingdoms, nice adaptation. Basically it takes place between 3 major high schools, is full of martial arts battling, and overloaded perhaps with more fan service than you can shake a scantily clad girl at... but its still really good, and a very nice, fresh take on 3 kindoms. New anime is coming out for it too, Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny. Ah yes the RE thing. We have a zombie thread going but... Maybe I'll post it anyway. I'm actually kinda working on a Super Sentai RP hehe, should be fun actually. wink Seen it, read it, love it. XD And you should! There's no reason to have just one! ...wait, there's a third Death Note movie? I've only seen the first. Good luck on the paper.

I'm beat currently. I just can't sleep much lately >,< Paper is done, on to two 15 minute presentations this week. And I have to rewrite my policy proposal... first time that has ever happened that I got such a low grade I have had to do so...
I hope I don't have to do the same for the essay I just wrote too.. but it isnt terribly great and my society teacher is a weeeee bit too strict on his grading if you ask me... he's one of those "guess what I want you to write for this paper" kind of professors, and I hate that...

I knew there was a "second part" to the death note movie, so maybe that is the second one.
I think, the "guess what I want you to write" professor is kinda like, they don't give you topics or suggestions, just are like, you're going to write a paper. It'd better be how I want it, or you'll have to redo it.
Personally, I like when my teachers go "write about anything, as long as it happened sometime in history, but isn't too recent" or something like that. You get an interesting variety really. Then again, I'm not taking anything about society. Not really. I don't think.

Well I slept in heavily today and am doing good so no problems. Cept now I must stare down round 2 of project work.
Mostly yeah, what I mean by the "guess what I want you to write" professor is one who, when they give you an essay/policy proposal/etc kind of writing work, they are looking for a particular stance on the issue, and expect you to support their own ideas, tow their particular view point as expressed in class, etc etc, in other words they want one answer to an open ended question and then grade you low if you don't do it.
Bad way to teach in my opinion. Even worse way to do a creative type assignment.
Anyway, if you havent had such a professor you're lucky. I havent had many but when you get them... its a /headdesk situation. I had one in a creative writing class once... if you didn't write fiction/fiction, you know, real world drama and such 100%, and if it wasn't about poor people, or women seeking empowerment, then she gave you a low grade, I kid you not... I did NOT get along with her... and she was my Major advisor... and I took her class to see what she was going to be like, and after, promptly went t my department chair and said "I cannot work with this woman. SAVE ME!" hehe

Jeez, your teachers scare me. My brother has a teacher like that. He goes crazy trying to make sure the work is up to her standards. The only rule with our teachers when writing ANYTHING was "never use the term 'I' in a sentence, except during a quote". It was weird, but we got marked down for using it.
Whats Round 2? Do you have to wrestle a bear?

Well, I have a ton - narrowing them down to one was kinda hard. XD But I couldn't pick between two in the end, so would you mind picking?
I have picture references if you need them, but you've played the games if I recall correctly. You probably guessed, but it's Biohazard. If you're willing to do it, anyway, would it be possible for you to draw EITHER James Marcus (the younger, psycho one) or the Ashford siblings (I'm an Alexia fan)? I say either because I don't want to burden you.

Yeah thats the kind of thing... he doesnt do that "I" mark down kind of thing but you have to answer the question the way he actually wants you to... or else >,<
I have had teachers in creative writing who did mark you down for using "I" in formal essays, but in all truth thats a good practice to get into and is something you shouldn't do in academic writing...
You can tell i've done it for 4+ years now, no? And I'm soooo gonna graduate soon muahahahha. If I get my math credit done...
Ahem. Round 2 is wrestling 2 projects. Their total length must be 15 minutes a piece. One I can use power point on... the other... might be rougher.

You can tell it. Projects, or presentations? But the thing is, you weren't allowed to use "I" even if you had to use your own opinion. Even on your own RECORDS. And you seem to be on at all hours of the day. XD I'm an idiot. XD I have screencapping programs on my computer, plus the video files, and I was searching the internet like a mad boar to find Marcus pics. Marcus is HARD to cap, though. He's got practically no decent scenes. You might be better off with the Ashfords. I gotta apologise for some of the pic qualities though. A heh heh. Ok thanks for the links. I'll see what I can come up with... It'll most likely be the Ashfords.
...and I guess theyre presentations. >,< Projects will be what I have to do in my Japanese class soon.
And yeah I am up all hours. Like now. It's 2:30 am. Listening to KMFDM. I'm disgusted with my sketches for today. I played guitar for a while... I haven't done any writing, but I'm caught up on my email anyway. I didn't head out today cause its been pouring rain off and on, and I don't want to get soaked. Again. For anther consecutive day. I hate the rainy season...
EDIT IN: Well... my play list clicked over to Resident Evil: Outbreak, and in a fit of inspiration I managed to get a schetch done. It's a good double pose, Ashford twins it shall be. Might get it done tomorrow if I work at it. The line work will be done by then for sure.
One thing though Calami, if you can get me a good shot of Alfred's face I would appreciate it. There is a good one of Alexia in those picts but not a good detailed one of him.
