OK, an RP example for those who have never played before:
Let's say that the characters are Johnny, the Doughboys, and Nailbunny, the setting is Johnny's house, and the plot is that Johnny is bored.
EX:
Passing rooms upon rooms of torture victims in the labyrinths of his ridiculously complex basement, Johnny C realized that he was bored as hell. "That's an appropriate phrase, really. Hell was boring. I don't even feel in the mood to go rip the fingernails off that beauty queen two rooms down. What do you think?" he asked, turning to the Doughboys.
And then at this point whoever is playing Mr. Eff and Psychdoughboy would respond with ideas- Psychodoughboy would probably suggest suicide in inventive ways, Mr. Eff would suggest something mindlessly violent, and Nailbunny would try and stop Nny from doing anything too stupi/in the will of the Moose. The story would evolve, everyone taking their turns playing their characters. etc etc.

Xx-Darkminno-xX By the way, I think Rathuriel should be Devi since she IS dressed up like her... I don't think anyone should be Nny... I was lurking in an JtHM/IZ hybrid roleplay the other day, and I swear one of the girls was Jhonen in disguise, that's how well she was roleplaying as Nny. So, it can be done. Ralthuriel There are tons of RPG guilds all over gaia, and even some IZ ones (not that I've been very happy with any of them- they never talk to me) IZ isn't really aimed at the same age group as JtHM, I've noticed. Perhaps that might have something to do with it?

I'm a very experienced RPer. I've been in probably about...ohh....35-40 RPs. Multiple at once, too. But, nevermind that, it was simply me stating that if you have any questions about RPs, you can ask me too.
I think its a good idea to not have one person be Nny. We can have random counters with Nny and just narrate his actions and what he says.

A young lady, new to the city of L.A. stood behind the counter at the local 24/7, the place was dead, almost as if it's been forgotten about yet she could hear the voice of the manager behind a locked door, it didn't take long for her to relize he wasn't talking to himself, but on the phone, ranting on about something that happened to the last clerk, 'the insident' he called it. "I can't belive it!" he yelled. "Some nutcase murdered our last four clerks! The man was a MANIAC I tell you a MANIAC! The odd thing was- he was never caught by the camera, he left no evidance, a true genius villan he was! I'd NEVER be able to get away with anything like that! I hear he's been on some killing spree that boy, people are missing, and they arn't comming back they are all DEAD! I KNOW it!" silence, it was obvious whomever he was talking to was responding. "Well of corse I can tell it's a guy, you NEVER see women out killing people!" Katt rolled her eyes. That's because they never get caught. She flipped the page of her horror novel and looked at the clock, still evesdropping. damn...I've only been here 15 minutes? This....if going to be a looong shift... that thought waltzed through her head a few times. Then, things that sounded like words raced in her mind, then silence, a-a sigh? A scream? Yes....her own in horror, the sound of her choking on her very blood, silence. "I REALLY need to get out more" she explained to nobody, she let out a sigh and set down her book; how much longer would it be.....untill she grew morbidly mad? Untill she became like the the others....how long?
