I keep forgetting to wear non mundane shoes to events. It isn't that big of a deal but it looks terribly odd when I wear my running shoes with my garb!

Llelwyn I am ETERNALLY forgetting to bring my feast gear. This one time, I was eating feast off of an aluminum dish from whence a pie came and drinking out of a soda can... no one had anything to spare. The man across the table was giving me a hard time about it, so I picked up the aluminum dish and said "My lord, THIS is my dowry." I picked up the aluminum can, "THIS is my sister's dowry. We thought I should make a good showing at the feast." Then I went back to eating. (In case you didn't know, aluminum was more precious than platinum until some time after the French Revolution when they learned how to produce it).

I went to an event this weekend and didn't have any period shoes (it seems to me my problems always have to do with shoes) so I spent the whole time in my barefeet. It wasn't that bad though, it was fun. I swear that after that weekend I can now walk on almost anything.
At the same event I cut my foot and didn't have any bandages so I had to borrow a piece of long cloth and wrap it around. It wasn't a big deal either but it was kinda fun walking around and explaining to everyone who asked why a rag was wrapped around my foot.

I went up to Highlands war and forgot my athletics cup to protect my... exclaim exclaim so I Quickly fasioned one out of a Wooden mug with a hatchet, and used a bunch of tape as a strap.
Despite the rash, I'm actually quite proud of it. It's my Highlands war trophy.

Commissar Russ I went up to Highlands war and forgot my athletics cup to protect my... exclaim exclaim so I Quickly fasioned one out of a Wooden mug with a hatchet, and used a bunch of tape as a strap. Despite the rash, I'm actually quite proud of it. It's my Highlands war trophy. haha, very, erm, creative, m'lord! My sister and I went to war this weekend and she forgot her bottle opener. Fortunately she had remembered her corkscrew which had a bottle opener attatched, but we were quite worried for a few minutes there.

Arithrel haha, very, erm, creative, m'lord! My sister and I went to war this weekend and she forgot her bottle opener. Fortunately she had remembered her corkscrew which had a bottle opener attatched, but we were quite worried for a few minutes there. teehee! at Dub Dub, I forgot a bottle opener as well... and didn't think anything of it because i just assumed that our bottles were twist off... silly me! but then i found out that my mom had attatched a bottle opener to the hinge of the cooler she lent me. smart mom! never will i doubt her again! well... maybe. but just not about drinking.
