As Bloodpaw, Shortail, and Darknail advanced towards the front, Singeclaw attacked from the back.

The Long Patrol was somewhat ready for there position was in a ring formation, pikes out, and the archers and slingers started to fire at the enemy.

Bloodfang and Singeclaw were being held up, but they backed up by Bloodpaw and Shortail.

As the rat died, Bloodfang grabbed him and threw him at Barrack.

Demetra Straightarrow aimed her arrows carefully, firing at rats only when she was sure she would not miss. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched Bloodfang and Barrack, as if debating whether she should shoot at Bloodfang instead of his rats.
