Onix_Otaku_Knight I really don't think that there will be a world war 3 from the current war going on. the first 2 world wars were 2 groups of nations joining together against each other under common ideals. they where known as the Alied Nations and the Nazi Regime. most of the world is against this current "War on Terror." The whole thing is really just a war for oil. And invading Iraq was more about Bush finishing up what his father had started. Basicly, the only way to end this war right now is to get out of there now before one of 2 things happens; Iran attacks us, or China attacks us. Right now, we are terrorists to those Middle East countries. A Terrorist is one who instills fear in another, and that is exactly what we are doing. anyway, WW3 will not happen for one reason..... AMERICA HAS NO SUPPORT FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. And the thing that does suck is if it does happen everyone will come after us.....

kenji1011 ((First post in this guild I think im gonna like it)) Well this is funny cause I was talking with my friends dad about this once, It's been about a year now and i still remember it vividly because it scared me. He thought((and I believe what he has to say)) that if world war 3 starts, One country will try to nuke another country eventually, Then that country will nuke that country, then thier allies nuke....and so on. Till nothing is left except a bombshell slum of deformed people. I also believe another thing, that if a number of people did survive a catastrophe like that they might be able to pick up the pieces and restore the Earth to better than it was before. Such as it might open up peoples eyes to see what war can do to us all. So might be bad and good, but I'm still hoping it wont happen anytime soon xp something like that happend on a series of games it the brotherhood sereis i think

I agree with whoever said the war in Iraq won't stem a WWIII. Simply because England is concidering (if not already acted upon) pulling out.

NinDragon DruidTigeress I've come to a conclusion that once we're nearly out of fuel, a horrible oil war will break out that is devastating and threatens to destroy the planet, then it would stop. Because there's no more oil left. Or coal, or a super future fuel, or whatever. Personally, I don't see how anyone could think this would be good for the environment, but my aparently not pesimistic brother says that the world's got to many people and we need a war to kill 'e off.
...he kinda scares me sometimes. I agree with your brother, the world has a few too many people in it, and a world war might not be such a bad idea. And I wouldn't mind the collosium either, I would enter just to see how well my training has paid off. Alright, I choose you to be the first one to go. Maybe I should just come into your house and shoot you and your family. Less people right?

I feel that when there is a WWIII, it will be the end of the civilization as we know it. With the way nuclear weapons have evolved, one could ruin our country and it's only a matter of time before other countries get sick of us ******** with them and get rid of us.
Keep in mind this is coming from an Anti-War American Hippy.

Less people right? yes less people but that would be considerd illegal becuase it was not sanctioned like a collasium would be you would be sent to jail and put on the death row

suizome I don't find that unlikely, we've already found an electric cars, hyrdrogen cars, and people in Brazil use corn oil, instead of fossil fuels. Most Americans are just lazy or think of it as a hassel to change. But once the price of gas is unbearable. People will start thinking again! Though I have a terrible feeling, with how unstable the middle east is and the areas surrounding it, probably will cause WWIII, espacially if the UN gets involved. Well, we do technically have electric cars, but they are not commercially viable without better batteries. Hydrogen cars are also not very viable right now due to the fact that it is expensive to start up the infrastructure. Brazil actually uses Ethanol that comes from sugar cane which is a lot more cost effective. In fact, their cars have difficulty running on E20. They are all set to run on high percentages of Ethanol. I do think that there will be a world war three within my lifetime. Current events seem to show a lot of violence in the world, and the one thing that I see that is missing is a dictator that has religion behind him. I do not think that would be too bad unless it was in a heavily populated country like China or India. There would have to be a huge amount of people ready to fight for the cause as well, which is why it would need to be religiously motivated. I would also safely assume that world war three would be a nuclear war, wiping out a large amount of the population.

my prediction is that India and Pakistan will nuke each other.
they both have the capacity right now.
China and India hate each other, so China would side with Pakistan; Russia is already India's ally, so those two could get drawn in.
with nukes and a wide scale war like that surely the global environment would suffer; there would be a severe winter like the one that followed the eruption of Krakatoa, and a cold dry year afterward with widespread famine.

World War III will happen eventually because conflict is inevitable. It can happen in our life time or our children's life time. Just look at how close the first world wars were. Baiscally...the world will be incenerated by bombs. Major cities will be targeted and hundred of thousands of people will die in the United States alone. Millions could die world wide from bombs leaving the rest to die among the ruins from starvation, radiation poisoning, and disease.
Whether we are in WWIII is debatible. We are locked in a war where there is no hope in sight to many people. We are locked in a stalemate with getting potinetionally hostile countires to disarm thier atomic bombs. What happens when another 9/11 happens or something even worse? The FBI just busted a potintionally disasterous plot to destroy JFK airport. What if that had succeeded? The truth is harsh.

zach61092 Or we will find an alternate resource.. Yeah, to be correct, we have them all ready. But the patents of those are in hands of big bad motor and gas companies, who are simply just thinking their own best selling all the oil away. They are the one, who are driving us in the edge of energy perplexity.
And what you know, all those companies are located widely in US. If there will be ever third world war, it'll be the rest of the world versus US.
