Honestly I have no idea, most "historical" films holywood has made have been utterly sh---y so really I've lost faith in them making decent historical films as well as decent pagan films. |

My rule of thumb for costuming in moives is look at the heroine's best friend or the heroine's ugly friend, and ignore the heroine. Usually the other women's costumes have some basis in history (though often not alot) and the leading lady is just wearing something sexy to modern eyes.
It is for this reason that Troy made me cry. Helen was not just modern, she was 2005.
I'm sorry, but all I've really seen from 300 is what the female lead is wearing... also making AElfthryth cry. |

I know I think thats what sold me on the line.
Though I'm not so sure how much I like it anymore.
I was playing a Game called Spartan Total Warior. It's been out for a little while and it has a line almost identical to that on in it and I'm pertty sure it was made first. |
