Clarinets-No guys, 5 or 6 girls
Trumpets-5 guys, 2 girls
Tubas-2 guys {one is acutally a percussionist}, 2 girls
Trombones-1 guy, 3 girls {two are actually percussionists}
Baritones-No guys, 1 girl
French horns-1 guy, 2 girls
Percussion-7 guys, 3 girls
Saxophones-1 guy, 3 girls Now Go Forth And Share Them...

There is one exception to this thread, today...
The annoying 7th grader that shares a ligature AND base clarinet with me, took my reed and snapped it in two!!!! 2 pieces!!!!! MY BD HAS NONE LEFT!!! WE HAVE FESTIVAL IN 3-4 weeeks!!!!
He doesn't know how important it is for me to practice!!!!

are everybody's bands dominated by females? mine are mostly guys. we have all girls for flute and just one guy clarinet and french horn, but the rest of the sections are mainly guys

Wow, thats weird...
All of the baritones are former clarinets, flutists, and a drummer...
Which, suprisingly, are all girls.
The base clarinets are girls...
Flutes are girls...
Clarinets are girls...
We think this one guy sax is a girl too. O.O
He likes to speak in a high voice and complement everyone on thier clothes and hair.
He enjoys long walks on the beach and...okay, scratch that last part.

The trumpet section(which I'm in) is mostly guys, except for like 3 girls. Strange thing is, all the brass is mostly guys, and the woodwinds are mostly girls. There is one guy in the top band for clarinet, which is cool. Speaking the truth, I wish I could play a reed insturment.

there are three male clarinets at my school 1 flute and 1 piccollo 4 altos 3 bass clars 1 tenor 1 bari yep guy woodwinds are sexy

my band is very equal when it comes to guys and girls ... of course we have hundreds of people but ... o well lol...i play clarinet.... and our section is like 16 clarinet players... 4 of wich are guys... but i am by far the hottest one ... woodwind guys are the c00lest

FlyingBagel Words Of Wisdom From Bagel... We have one guy sax and two guy flutes.
At least in marching band.
I went to Foster Music Camp this past summer and I was the only female sax.
It was odd... Now Go Forth And Share Them... My band only has one female sax too. cool

i can't deny that i like them, like most of my crushes have been on guys who play wood wind 3nodding , but in marching band as for numbers there are 7 guy clarinets and 6 girls so it's evened out pretty much.
