I'm a first degree black belt, though that's in Tae Kwon Do, which I understand is QUITE different from karah-tay.

I'm going to try to compete in a competition/tournament one of these days.
Where do you both train? I'm at Kim's Academy of Tae-Kwon-Do. He holds national tournaments every year, I think.
Either that, or it's Central U.S.. Can't remember.

I think my school belongs to a different association.
Is yours ATA?
And my sensai was Greg Diaz, who I think is now a.. 7th degree black belt?
There are only 9 degrees, and 7/9=amazing.
xDD All/most of my friends take some form of martial art.. it's amazing.
