Haven't played any of the games. Ever. Unless you count Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, I am a hardcore Zelda fan (Final Fantasy lost to LoZ on the August 2006 Gamefaqs poll as the all-time best video game series, and in Summer of 2005 Link kicked Sephi's butt :3), and you can't make me play. *sticks tongue out* And I played just a bit of Crystal Chronicles. But that's about it. ^^; I only like Sephiroth 'cause I know from my FF7 buddies who rant about it all the time how badass he really is. And I only like Kadaj and Loz and Yazoo because they're Sephi clones! And Vincent... he's just hot. XD

FF1 is still the coolest, mans. D: Old school Nintendo. (Yes, FF1 WAS made by Nintendo.)

Squally was slightly annoying. I have to admit, I grew tired of his trying-to-be-loner-like-Cloud attitude. Cloud.. his arms.. in the game.. made me giggle until I spewed guts. I played the game after I saw Advent Children and realized that I didn't know what the hell was going on.. ><;; So, yeah, that's a bit more of my opinion.

I should say something of importance here. I really, reeeeeally should. But, alas, I lack to importance saying skills. But, you all should know, this thread makes me giggle! *nodnod* (And for some odd reason, Fiye's post is even more giggly to me than anyone elses...). Hehe. Also, Fiye wonders why I'm giggling while on the phone with him. Thus, I can annoyingly taunt him. So, for providing amusement and taunting abilities (and making mentions of some of the best bishies in video game history, but you didn't hear that from me) you guys recieve: "The Syth Stamp Of Joyous Approval!"

hahaha. let me make my comment on FFIX

Zidane: Love him for his character. Especially in the introduction to Disc 3 where he's drunk off his a**.

Garnet/Dagger: Interesting character, especially how she handles the trajegy inflicted upon the Mist continent by Kuja.

Steiner: Very intere/laughable character. Especially in the way he treats Zidane, Garnet/Dagger, and Vivi. Also, during disc three and how the Steiner x Beatrix fandom starts.

Vivi: Interesting and lovable character. The way how he learns about his own creation, and how you grow to become attached to him is perhaps what makes him in the better characters of the FF world.

Freya: Now she's an iffy character. You don't really get a good opportunity to get attached to her. But, what she goes through is still a trajedy. Still, I like how square enix/soft came up with the rat Anthro concept.

Quima: Now she's an interesting character. As a blue mage, you start off disliking the fact that you need to tend to her carefully and by having her eat various monsters. However, with a combo of Vivi's Demi and eat/cook, she's easily attachable. However, during disc to, she's more of a comic relief, popping up every now and then.

Eiko: The infamous horned summoner with a pet moogle named mog and a pair of wings. Oh dear, who can say they did not fall in lvoe with her entire concept. her love for Zidane, and the rival that she tries to enforce between her and garnet/Dagger only forces more people to fall in love xd .

Amarant: The cold badass guy of the game. You had to expect this after FF7 and 8. However, he may not be in the lead, but character developement comes in and soon changes (or at least a little bit) his attitude as he travel with Zidane after being spared to learn how he's so powerful. Of course, it's his wonderful Trances.

Kuja: All the girls probabily screamed when they saw this bi-shounen sephiroth wanna-be. His character is interesting, himself being an all powerful character. However, towards the end, remorse is showed for him, and he becomes a likable character with depth. Not an insane maniac as Sephiroth was.

I pretty much love FFIX over every other final fantasy, except for XI (Which gains big points with the whole keeping me in for a long time)

Edit: As for spirits within, I didn't really care about it. JUst some eye candy and a plot that I didn't care. Although, they did give alot of eye candy.

As for Advent Children, it's honestly too short. Although, as great as the graphics (The engine having been used in KH2 and FFXIII and FFXIII:Versus) are, the story is lack-luster, and to me kills the FFVII tone. of course, i'm one of those "Don't milk the series" fan boys. So you'll have to forgive me.
