thats kinda wierd....
i like how he doesn't talk...he seems kinda quiet and shy.
gosh have you seen the zelda show? that link talks and boy does he get on my nerves! that doesn't seem like links personality at all...
"excuuuuuse me princess!" gosh thats annoying

I've seen the show...And my friends like to piss me off by saying the "Hey! Well Excuuuuuuuse " y'know...They insist that I'm the incarnation of Zelda...
Also, when I was playing the original Super Smash Bros., my little cousin was watching. In the opening sequence when they show Link, my cousin thought he was smoking a bong. rofl

I don't rly know the dumbest thing i ever heard but i did read that the reason that Link never talks is because the creator didn't want there to be a sort of metaphorical "wall" between Link and the player. I think he believes that making Link not talk puts a sort of connection between the character and the player and the two become one in the same, as if the one playing the game is actually going on the adventure as opposed just watching it unfold from what you've done with the controler in your hands.
At least that's how I feel whenever I play the games.
