What would you guys say is the coolest Sci-Fi book you've ever read? Mine would have to be Ender's Game. I've read that book like three times, and each time it was fantastic. Orson Scott Card is such a great author.

Hmmm, my favorite Sci- Fi Book. Time-Line by Micheal Crichton or Andromida Strain also by Micheal Crichton. Those were both amazing books! Not too long, but will keep you on the edge of your seat. Sci-fi with a hint of suspense! I loved em!
I will have to look into Ender's Game. I have heard of it before, I just haven't read it.

NEW DISCUSSION!

Does anyone else think that Stephen King is overrated? I mean, he's a good author, but does he really deserve THAT MUCH publicity? I've only read Cujo, so I can't really say much. I will say that in Cujo, there were a lot of questions left unanswered. And it didn't scare me. At all.

Has anyone read Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy or The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot because I'm supposed to pick one from my reading list and don't have time to read both. So if you've read either, opinions would be nice. sweatdrop

i read mostly sci-fi/fantasy. a few favorite authors are david eddings (of course), terry pratchet and piers anthony. i also read manga, atm i dotn have many, but ive got all 14 of the love hina, all 7 of planet ladder, the first 3 of card captor sakura and the first of neon genesis evangeion, as well as the first 7 from dragonball z. a few of those were given to me and i dont have much money so i havent bought any fopr a WHILE, but i do think the love hina manga is better than the tv series/movies, onyl because the story is concluded, in a sense, a happy ending is achieved, and not hastily patched with a 3 episode dvd

There was an awsome book in my school library.
Yeah..school library. xD
It was called 'The Grave'
I think.
Really good read, it was about some time travel and adventure.
A touch of mystery. And a hint of romance! xD
Made it a really fantastic read. ^^
