Well, if you need female names, I have some:

-Lenore
I'm the sort of person who names my animals with people names, so that's mostly what I could come up with. I didn't look up the meanings, but they sound pretty ^^

It might sound strange but go to the website babynames.com and type in the word black. A whole list of names should appear.

Hmm...let's see. I'm personally a fan of names that mean something. Like if one is rather small and probably won't get very big, name it Kerwyn. It's Gaelic for "small, black one"
Also, there are the standard names that everyone knows:
Socks
Sandra
Mini
ect...at least those are common names around here. Actually, though, I suggest you check out a name site, either baby names or pet names, depending on whehter or not you want human names. That's how I named my black kitten. I shant tell you her name though, as she is to be the only one by that name.
I met a cat named Pyro once. And Caliber is kinda cool, if'n ya like guns.

P.S. I like the Warriors books too!! They do have a lot of good kitty names, but mostly for tabbies (tabbys?).
