FenrisVollmond An extract from a site about The Dragon; Quote: We probably know the least about this council member. We have not yet met him in the books. The name "Dracula" has links with the Romanian word "drac" (derived from the Latin "draco") which can mean both " dragon" and "devil." I wonder if we'll see a return of Dracula with this council member? I dearly hope that The Dragon doesn't turn out to be Dracula. Morte D'Armore could be interesting though... Esp Jason's reaction... Lover of Death. Which of the Vampire Lines is Damian's old mistress from? The Dragon is definitely not Dracula: its a she! You know, I'm beginning to think that Damian's old mistress has her own line... I mean, if JC can become one, its possible that others could too, right? Of course, she still had to have been made by someone else... My best guess: The Mother of All Darkness, before she went to sleep.

When I reread Blue Moon, I think it was in that one, where you meet that vampire that could do the same trick as Damien's old mistress to feed off fear... Or it could be near the beginning of Narcissus in Chains where Anita realises that she has the succubus/incubus (whichever it is lol) the ardeur!
But they say that Damien's old mistress, the mora/night hag, is of Belle Morte's line. She just feeds off a different kind of emotion, rather than lust it's fear.

Really? I didn't remember that... But it makes sense.
From what they mention in Incubus, she fed on both fear and lust, but generally preferred fear.

OK, so maybe Morroven (I think that's the spelling) was of Belle's line, but then became her own... i can't remember how to spell it, but I think its 'sire of blood' in French. Thus, Damian would be of her line, not Belle's line.

Maybe. I am not sure. I don't want to give anything away from Incubus Dreams, but I think it said Damian was not of Belle's line. They kind of made a big deal of it because something happens to Damian in ID and they say he wasn't of her line. Of course I am not perfect and could have misread it. I will have to go check that part of the book out again to be sure.

Even though my name sugests that I like Morte d'Amore the most,its not so.I wanted the online name BelleMorte,but it was taken. xp So I had to choose another.My fav is Belle though.Shes so eevil

I think out of all the Council members mentioned, the Traveler because he puts on more of a mysterious setting then the others. Belle Morte is okay but she's got serious issues to deal with before she ascends anymore...<.<

Skyler Daratrazanoff I think out of all the Council members mentioned, the Traveler because he puts on more of a mysterious setting then the others. Belle Morte is okay but she's got serious issues to deal with before she ascends anymore...<.< XD Mommy Dearest is cool!!!! I agree. the Traveler is my favourite,is good and bad! xd I cannot wait to meet Mommy Dearest!

I hate belle Morte!!! I hate her with a passioN!!! she's stuck up, and prideful and is a narcssist (Sp?). I hate people like that...
