Athiel Oh my! I was unaware of the seemingly strict and rather silly laws of which you all speak. Here in Sweden (as far as I know) no one gives a s**t, as long as it's not about a 50 year old guy "gets" a 12 year old girl...^^ Aren't we liberal? Lucky, man that would be cool living in a liberal country

that's not so bad.
one of my friends works with this guy who was invited by her parents to a party at their house. he liked her and she liked him, and he had told her that he was 27. she later found out that he was really 39 or so and that he had lied just to get to her.
some boys are just scum.

Twack i say leave he lied about his age, and in the us you cant date any one 2 years yonger/older then you between the ages of 16-18 as for the sex as long as you did not get pregnet or get some form of STD its allright omiting the leagul side of it Are you shitting me? My boyfriend's 19 going on 20 in Dec. and I'm 17 going on 18 in Feb. You can date whomever the hell you want. I'd ask him why the hell he lied to you, first of all. Then dump him. Because if he lied to you about that, there's no telling what else he'd lie to you about.

You can make your own decisions about sex when you're 16, but it's not a good idea. Dating someone two years younger/older isn't much ofa big deal in certain circumstances. Anyway the guy lied to you so he isn't any good. Find someone who won't do that.

Macabre_Cogitation Honestly, it all depends on your state laws, depending on the legality of it. Some allow 14, others 15-18...it just all depends. Now, he lied about his age.....question is, Did he do this just to have sex with you, or he really likes you and thought it was the only way you would date him. does getting bracelets from him, him worrying about my sanity, and us talking on the phone all night equal love?

Beatngufan I dated and had sex with a guy whom I thought was my age. Just to find out he is 14 while I'm 16. Should I date him still? You can keep dating him, I don't see anything wrong with that. Just don't have sex with him anymore. 14-year-olds shouldn't be having sex.
