I love Halloween. It's the one day I can be myself and leave the house like it. PROBLEM IS people expect me to have a plan, asking "What are you dressing as this year?" I just go into my closet and mash some stuff on.
Thanksgiving does nothing for me. (I pretty much loathe everything on the traditional menu.) Christmas is a pain in the a** to me. It should just be a children's holiday. I hate having to get a little something for EVERYONE.
Easter is awesome too. Just the whole idea of spring, bunnies, and chocolate make me happy.

Mine is Christmas as well, especially since I've moved out of my parents' house. I love the whole season - my radio's tuned to Christmas music starting the day after Thanksgiving! I just love the family togetherness of the holiday and the good spirits that I like to think it inspires in people. smile

Endria My first favorite would be Thanksgiving. I love mashed potatoes and turkey smile My second favorite would be Halloween. I'm not big on the candy anymore, but I love to see people dress up - and I love to see how creative people can be. endria, your avi reminds me so much of momo from peach girl! is she modeled after momo, or is that just a coincidence? xD

christmas, no contest! i love the warm-fuzzies it brings. ^______^ i LOVE christmas music, it brings back so many memories of sitting on the carpet in the living room as a child, talking with family, watching christmas movies, gazing at the wrapped-up presents and wondering what goodies i'd be getting that year. i'm definitely a child at heart, and i always be!
i love thanksgiving, too. i don't eat non-veg food anymore, but i still love mashed potatoes, squash, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, and all that good stuff.. and i love being around family.

My favorite is Christmas. I love the snow, the feelings, family get-togethers, the lights, everything about it! 3nodding blaugh I also love it because it symbolizes the birth of Christ (I can't help it that it ties in so closely with my faith life). Anyways, like I said, Christmas no contest! blaugh

I would have to say Christmas is my favorite. We celebrate Christmas Eve with my parents and my brothers and their family. We start out by having dinner first which is always lasgna. And then we sit all around the living room and share one thing that has inspired our life the past year. You get a perspective of what goes on with each other. Then we open presents and then I head to midnight service with my children. We get home and then we sleep until my 7 year old gets up to wake all of us up with his excitement. I love to watch him and my 14 year old get all excited about the season. We read the Christmas story before we have breakfast. Which is usually pancakes fried eggs and bacon. Then we sit around the tree and sing Christmas carols before we open our presents.

Oh and those people that are making the big stink about put Christ back into the hoilday..... stop it, read your history books You should be nice all year round, but if i can only get 3 weeks out of the year, I will happily take it
