I still stand by what I said.
Being extremely light + hurting youself when attacking = really bad character.
if you want to play someone fast, be fox, falco, shiek, CF, or someone else who just plain dosent suck so much.
or at least picachu.

True, he's light and can hurt himself but Pichu is really strong. His attacks do more damage than Pikachu and his skull bash can do 40 damage while he only takes 1. All you have to do is avoid using thunder jolt (3damage, enemy, 1damageyou)+I beat Captain Falcon, Fox, and Marth is Super Sudden Death using pichu with 99 lives each and I won with 30 lives left

ok...well, how often will you ever come to sudden death with pichu?
erm, never.
so being able to kill someone w/ 300% isnt much of an accomplishment. not at all.

Slifer-san can you kill 3 people on a team in super sudden death? Weather I could or couldnt, again I come to the point of this would never happen in tournament play, or most other play at that matter, so therefore it isn't important in the least.

Pie32 Pichu is actually pretty good if you get used to him. It's especially funny when you play people that think Pichu sucks, and whip their butts with it. xp Pichu does suck 3nodding

Pichu may seem bad, but you have to know how to use him
Pichu is THE fastest character in the game, and if you use it right, you can escape any opponents attack
Pichu's B attacks may hurt himself, but his >+B attack can come in handy as it can be used multiple times, and ^+B can come in handy for when you don't want to fall too much, v+B is a great attack, and if you use it while under a platform, no damage done, B can also deal some cute little damage that can add up or just piss off your opponet
Pichu's A attacks don't really hurt itself and that good, though some do, but get the >+A smash attack just right and they go flying, litteraly, V+A and ^+A Smash Attacks so some good damage as well. Pichu's normal A is great for about 25-50% damage per life if you use it well, and gets really annoying, or can be fun for you
Pichu's grabs are good as well, down is good, forward throw will send them a good distance to run and use a fast A attack, backwards throw will send them a good distance as well, and it don't hurt you like forwards. and if you use your upwards throw and they have enough damage you can get you v+B attack
So Pichu can be bad, if you don't know how to use it's strengths and over-come it's weaknesses

I have to defend Pichu, for even when it sucks, it's also underrated..
Pichu is the Second Fastest Character (only bested by C. Falcon Speed). And It has a repertory of very good attacks that are harmless for it. It is good for aerial gaming. (bair and nair are at best) It's tilts are short but they also are part of the game. DSmash is good to sweep sharacters out of the platform and USmash is one of the most powerful smashes I've seen Being able to knock out a 120% Ganondorf from the upper screen. FSmash is to be used sparingly, but I'd certainly waste 1% if that means Taking out a Character with 80-100% out of the screen. DownB is good when the Thunder does not hit you, for It will not take the 3% damage out of you. However, If you wish to waste that 3% make sure The opponent is near pichu so it blasts him away. Good for edgeguard, this is.
There are some other good things to pichu, they just need to understand the character more

H is preety good when he makes the headbutt attack fully recharge and he is kinda cute when you press down he goes to sleep and stronge attacks dont send him flyin.

muraki_kazutaka_matsuei I don't think Pichu is crappy, I like using Pichu, though I use Pikachu more. I know, it hurts itself, but not with all attacks. And it's preety fast, that's what I like about it. I agree.Actually I think Pikachu & pichu r the best in the game. (besides Young Link)

Assassin105 no he is not. i know most of the good points but i cant say any reall doog points about pichu he does have a better combo lvl and is fast but thats about it. he does less damage flys farther . IT HURTS ITSELF alot when u get into details 5 damage max and 1 damage min so that means if you attack 50 times (that is reasonable) and u dont get hit then u will take 50 to 250 damage for killing things get some food or something tht heals and u"ll be fine
