Kira made her way across the streets. Ignoring if their was a no walking sign. Soon she found herslef in front of a Super Market.Perfect,she thought as she walked in. She grabbed a loaf of bread and a box of juice boxes. She knew it wasn't that great but she couldn't carry anything else.
She walked swiftly to the ext and then stopped as someone told her to stop. A policman came walking toward her. "Did you pay for those things?"The police man asked."Not exactly,"she said softly. "Then you need to put them back,"he said demandingly. Without a second thought she swiftly raised her foot and kicked him where it hurt. Without looking back she ran out of the store.
As she ran she spotted her highschool. She slowed down her pace a bit,walking past it. Glad I don't go here anymore. Not like I could afford to anyway."Hey,stop!"She hear a yell and she turned to see a policeman running toward her.Oh s**t,she thought as she started to run once more.

Victor stopped dead in his tracks as he felt his mind be invaded. The one being chased by the police right now will be the one you will guard. was the message that Victor heard. Spinning on his heel, he looked around, and saw a girl running from the police. Well, may as well start my duties. Victor thought sourly as he walked calmly over to the girl, stopping her from runing by placing a hand on her shoulder.
He peered down at the girl, before looking up to the policeman, who had now caught up. "Is there a problem, officer?" he asked, his voice cold, yet monotone.
["She stole those things from the supermarket." the Officer stated as he drew out handcuffs and moved closer to the girl, moving to arrest her.
"Here, take this and go." Victor said, holding out twenty dollars, which was more then enough to pay for the things. The officer took the twenty dollars and opened his mouth to speak. "That is more than enough to pay for the items she stole, now go give it to one of the cashiers at the supermarket and be done with it." he said bluntly, as he turned around, hand still on the girl's shoulder, as he steered her in the opposite direction of the supermarket, and the officer. Looking down at the girl, he said, "You shouldn't be stealing things."
The officer looked down at the money in his hand, before grumbling and turning around, heading for the supermarket.

Kira was to shocked to speak.She was just saved by a stranger. Her eyes stared at the man who saved her. A blush couldn't help but appear on her cheeks. Still blushing she looked toward the ground. "I Know but it's the only thing I can do to survive."She said softly,looking back up at him."Thank you very much for saving me."She whispered.

Victor looked down at the girl, before saying, "Don't worry about it." he said, as he took his hand off her shoulder. He looked back over his shoulder at the high school. "Shouldn't you be in school? It is mid-terms, right?" Victor asked, looking down at the girl.
"By the way, what is your name?" Victor asked, running a hand through his silver hair, as he often did out of habit. He looked down at the girl with his ice blue eyes.

"Victor. A pleasure to meet you, Kira." Victor said, extending a hand out to her. Well, things are off to a good start. Let's just hope it keeps going this way. Victor thought.

Having run the final stretch to the school's courtyard, Amber finally slowed to a walk as she went through her mind what she needed to bring and what she'd remembered to bring. After quick check through her bag, she sighed in relief. She'd packed everything away last night after studying until two in the morning. Come to think of it, maybe that was the reason that she hadn't woken up on time. Part of it, at least.
A quick look around told her that no one was lingering outside. Instead, they were all making their way indoors to get out of the cold. She couldn't exactly blame them. Not with the temperatures as they were. Only after she joined the crowd past the front doors did she take off her coat. So her friends hadn't arrived yet. They were usually late, but not this late. Don't tell me they skipped out again...! She thought, exasperated as she moved to a window to do a quick check for them. Maybe they had skipped. Usually, they asked her along, but not always. She was glad. She didn't want to miss school this close to midterm exams. It would kill her already dying grades.
"Two minutes 'til the bell rings." She heard someone who was just now arriving say to her friend. "At least we get a little time to relax before class." The rest of the conversation was drown out by the other chatting groups of people that were clustered around the entrance. 'Wow, I actually got here on time. For once." She muttered, looking up to stare at the clock.

Having slipped through a few familiar side-alleys which were, in Senn's mind, labled as "Short-cuts", he sauntered out onto the front lawn of his small university. From what he could see of the quantity of students still outside, he'd made it with a few minutes still to spare. Proceeding directly inside, the pale young man slid into a classroom that was almost completely empty, save for a few students right up near the front. For the second time that day, Senn grimaced at the thought of being so close to people.
Walking without a sound to the isle, Senn continued down to the very back, corner seat, sliding down into it and immediatly taking out his notepad and pen. Flipping open to a blank page directly after his morning journal entry, he began to draw from his mind, a slow-forming woman's head appearing on the page in elegant and precise pen strokes.

Kira extended her hand and took his,shaking it. The moment thier hands thouched she relized that she had to stay with.Why she thought this she didn't know but looking at him she relized that she didn't mind. "Likewise,i'm sure."She said with a smile.Things were going good so far. He hadn't asked her any questions. Suddenly she relized that she hadn't let go if his hand yet and so she let go quickly.
Another blush appeared upon her cheeks.We,ve only just met though. He could still ask questions. She thought, a sinking feeling appeared in the pit of her stumach. "Why'd you save me anyway?"Kira asked,a puzzled look on her face.

"That is a simple question that has a complicated answer." Victor replied. "I am a Vampire who has been cursed. I have been cursed to become a Guardian to a human which the Gods choose until death." Victor explained, as he folded his arms, not caring that she held his hand longer than would be expected.
Why is she blushing, I wonder? Victor thought as he looked at the girl, waiting for her reaction. I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to run, seeing as I told her flat out that I am a vampire.

Kira's eyes widened."A-A V-Vampire Gaurdian?"She asked stuttering.Come on Kira,you know you've always thought that vampires were real.She took a deep breath and then suddenly a thought came to her."Wait if your a Vampire Gaurdian then don't you need something to gaurd?"
She went into deep thought until she gasped,looking up at Victor."I'm the human your gaurding,arin't I?"She asked though she knew the answer. Why else would he save her if he wasn't her gaurdian.
