Anyway, maybe if we concocted a list of possible subjects people would be more inclined to play the part of instructor rather than instructee.

Were art and music two different subjects, or the same one? I dunno...

Plus, do you think we should have a subject per week? It might be a bit easier, since some people only post about 3 times a week and that will give them more of a chance to post.

And they won't have to check their schedule every time they log on. >_<

Last I remember, it was English, maths, science, history, and two extracurriculars.

And a subject a week is great, except then we get into the problem of it then takes a month and a half to get through a day, in game.

And an IRL day would be an in-game day.

Except then we run in the problem that we did with Altair.

Well...

People don't have to be in the roleplay every day... in Altair, since the day didn't move in a set time limit, some people didn't know when to move from class to class. I didn't know when to move from class to class. (That's kinda the reason I gave Rag a broken leg... so she didn't have to go to class... sweatdrop )

If a student is gone one day of the week, then they'll just be NPC'd in... but if they're gone for a week, that will count as skipping a day of class.

Unless we use freeform. And even then a week of the same class would probably be better, in my opinion.

Lotus- now that you're here xp - what do you think?

We could opt to leave the timeframe to the teacher of that particular class, how long or short the class will be.

I mean, the students go in and rp, and since the teacher has more or less the control over the mini-rp going on, s/he can just decide when to cut the class or when not to. That way it's tailored to what's happening in the class thread itself. They can lengthen or shorten it...but not too much, so at least the others can also take classes.

Kinda complicated and unorganized, but it might work.

Well... then one real school-week can just be one long class in-game.

It makes sense to me. Monday is morning, Tues-Thurs will be class, and Friday will be when they are released, depending on when the teacher dismisses them. However, the students will see it as 5 days' worth of class, even though a discussion from Tuesday will fluently be carried to Wednesday's class, as if they never went back to sleep. That way, you don't have to constantly move your character every single day. Plus, it will keep the timeline a bit parallel to ours, though in-game holidays should be at a different time than real holidays because we sometimes have plans for that particular day (EX: Christmas. Instead of Present Day being on 25, it could be on 15 or something).

If you seriously don't think it'll work, though, I'll drop it.
