"My, my, sister. There's just a stunning amount of-"
"Idiocy in the rebellion of these little ones."
"Girl of violet, what would you do,"
"If we were to inform the controllers-"
"Of this establishment just what-"
"You are doing?"
Nephthysia and Absinthe smirked in the girl's general direction. It seemed, for the moment, that the little foxlet they had been so interested in was ignoring them. Still, the redhead held their interest. If nothing else, they would come back to 'study' him further.
However, this little human, barely younger than them, was also of interest. They may just have to buy more than one little pet. Both were grateful they had brought extra funding.
"Brother, could she really be so-"
"Horribly desperate for freedom to-"
"Risk life and limb of herself and-"
"Others? It appears so, sister."
"I must wonder how-"
"Ill treated they are here then." Both twins smirked, their compassion more than obviously false. They watched the girl unwaveringly, taking in her ribbons and lingering on the thoughts of the black one. It was not so long as too be beadly, but it was long enough to present a challenge. Most interesting...

Naomi crossed her arms haughtily, trying to find something to counter the strang presentation. "I would simply climb out of that hole. And do you ever talk in real sentences?" Naomi studied the two for a moment. Would she want them as masters? Not likely. Naomi quickly glanced at her ribbons. The black one seemed to intrest the twins...and they had already shown they like black ribbons.
"You don't really care, do you?" she said, quite annoyed. "How we're treated. It's disgusting. Who would buy other beings? Other than you sick freaks?" Naomi's glasses slid down her nose and she pursed her lips together.

They smiled softly. This one was definately amusing, but not the type they would likely take. Not unless she truly proved to be worth her weight in gold. The twins had a history of accidentally ruining human slaves far too quickly. As if to humour her, both of them spoke at once, providing a steady dialogue rather than the back-and-forth they usually used.
"We can always speak together, if it makes you're silly little head feel better, but we've noticed that people tend to be more interested when we speak in fragments. And, of course, we do like to have people's interest, if only so we can watch and study them in the same way they try to do to us." Nephthysia's head dropped onto her borther's shoulder, and Absinthe's head rested atop his sisters as their mouth moved in unison.
"And, do believe, many a person would buy a slave if given the chance. Most of them are sweet and kind, only wishing for a tiny bit of help and company in their lives. You would likely get alond nicely with them." Two pairs of metallic eyes trained themselves on the girl, and the were unconsciously looking much more menacing than thy meant to. "But some of us are interested in something a bit more...fun."
Nephthysia's lips fell shut, but Absinthe continued. "By the way, that is anything but sunlight. You are in a cellar of sorts, my dear. We cannot be certain what lies above your head." Absinthe ceased his words and Nephthysia carried on. "But we can guarantee it is not freedom."

Doran's head snapped up and he glared at the twins with his emerald eyes, his anger simmering. He didn't speak, preferring to study them first before he tried to manipulate them. Idealy he'd sweet talk a sugar puff and give them his 'puppy eyes.' It worked half the time too.
The ex-thief glared at the girl when she provided them with his name, a low growl rumbling deep in his throat. What game was she playing at? He couldn't help but let out a snort of laughter.
"I actually thought you were smart! Crawl out, ha! Obviously you were either unconscious or stupid enough not to pay attention to where we are being kept." Like any other expierenced thief, Doran had his share of jail cells but he's always been able to break out. That was really what was getting to him. The fact that his attempts to free himself were all in vain.
The foxboy's eyes went from the other slave, then to the twins, and he tried to supress a shiver. They freaked him out, but not in the frightened way. THey were just... strange. His tail flicked again, dissrupting the regular swaying pattern the appendage normal had. He took up leaning against the back of the cell with his arms crossed over his chest as he watched, preferring to keep his distance.

Naomi's eyes widened at Doran, but snapped back to the duo. "I would prefer the fragments," she said with something of a smile. "And I don't think you two would favor me as a slave. I would think it best if you moved on to Redhead." Her face fell again. "I lost my sanity long ago, Doran!" Naomi squeezed the bars harder, having nothing to throw at him, nor attack him.
Instead, Naomi quickly released the bars and collapsed to the ground laughing. "Doran, Doran, Doran. Did you really think I'm smart? No, no...I used to be smart. Then I got dragged into this hell. If I was smart, I never would have gone to school that day." she took a breath and continued. "Anything else to add?"

Doran's ears were pressed back against his head and his upper lip curled up slightly in the beginnings of a snarl. His shot a glare at the twins, just daring them to try and subdue him. The boy's attention was drawn by Naomi, a mischeivious glint in his eyes.
"Yeah, in fact I do. You're the smartest dumbass I know. Of course, you're the only dumbass I know," he taunted and stuck out his tongue childishly. "Please, Ma'am and Sir, I implore you to take that nutcase. I'm sure you could train her to jump through hoops or something more useful." Doran's voice had an almost musical quality; light like bells and rich like chocolate. Mmm... He could easily have been a successful tenor if he went into the music business.
((alas, my dad is dragging me off to lunch. I'll be back later. And don't short circut that computer of yours with your sweat, Bittersweet. blaugh ))

||Of course. ;D Bye!||
Naomi bit her lower lip and drew blood, but she didn't care. "Yes, and I'm even toilet trained." She stuck her tongue out in return. "But are you? Or do you need a litter everywhere you go?" Naomi licked the blood away and continued in her smooth smothie-like voice. Mmm. Smoothies. "You're lucky I'm only human, Doran. Humans are weak," she muttered regretfully.
Naomi drew her knees to her chin and rested her head in it. "At least I'm a smart dumbass..." she said to herself.
