Well, I'm proud to say that I am an Audio-Visual Technician (AV-Tech) which is just a fancy word for saying I troubleshoot computers for doctors, guests, etc. that don't know what they're doing on a computer while at the University of Kansas Medical Center and hospital (or KUMC for short). I also set up the equipment for them in classrooms and unlock and lock the classrooms. I found this job while one day home sick as a cashier. I wanted to do something closer to filmmaking (my long-term and dream occupation). I found this and have beend doing it happily for one week! I'm so happy to have finally gotten it and now I'm having fun! This is also why I haven't been on Gaia or on the internet at all much this past week. Anyway, that's me!

I'm 23. I used to work as a trainee manager for a book keepers in central London. After I got robbed three time though at gunpoint I'm on indefinate leave. I'm not sure what I want to do now though. I'm thinking of going back to school and doing something with computers and.or graphics. I really wish I went to uni.

So in conclusion right now I don't do alot lol. My leave ends in September so hopefully I will find a course or another job by then.

I am a 34 year old single mom that put herself through college to be a Registered Nurse. I adopted my little sister when I was 19 and my little brother when I was 27 and I love them as my own. I work in a hospital that takes in a lot of traumas. So I see everything that you can imagine. I wouldn't change it for the world.

I work as a networking and technical support specialist with our local municipality. I specialize in data / voice communications and network security. I am also working to get my own network security business off the ground, specializing in Disaster Recovery, Computer Forensics and Network Architecture.

I'm 21 years old, and right now I'm a full time student and a part time entry level tech support phone operator.
I'm studying digital media communications at university, but really don't know if I'll be able to find a job. I'm a little confused as to what to say my job title would be anyway. People in medical fields can say they want to be doctors, surgeons, pharmacists. People in law can say they want to be judges or lawyers. This field of study makes me happy because it is fun, but I wonder if it could be profitable for me. I'm working in graphics but I'm not a graphic designer, I'm drawing, but I'm not an artist, not a photographer or designer. Ack! I know I'd be happy doing any number of related jobs, but what to attack and where? sorry. this turned into a rant I think.

Well, I'm a 39 year old mom of two. My hubby is active duty AF and is due to retire in a couple of years. We're still trying to decide where we want to move to when he's done. We're a tad tired of the AZ desert here. I homeschool the kiddos and have a part time job in a home sales type thing selling spa products. I also volunteer with our kids at a local animal rescue/adoption place. We keep busy. biggrin

My degree is in Marketing, but I have never actually worked at it. I worked in Purchasing at a couple of different companies for 12 years or so. After my second daughter was born I stopped working and have been a stay-at-home mom for 7 years now. I was going to go back to work, but one of my daughters was ill and I spent a lot of time taking her to doctors this year. She is doing better now.

I'm a: Housekeeper
Day Care Center Teacher
Cook
Computer Operator
Laundry Machine Operator
Janitor
Facilities manager
Car Driver
CEO
Psychologist

xd In other words, I'm a stay at home mother. I just always get a smile out of that one. Although, hopefully, in the next year (well this fall I want to take online classes), I'll be going to school to be a diagnostic medical sonographer. Depending on how that goes, I might look into radiology tech.

I'm an electronics technician in the World's finest Navy. Most of the things that are "broken" are operator error. I've had things go bad though. Thankfully I am an awesome tech, not trying to brag.
