Anita needs to call olaf and say "hey i got you a tastey treat" and then olaf can kill ronnie (yays for us) and then anita can whoop a** on Olaf and he can hit her and no more prego anita (yays for us again)

MWAHAHAHAH~!

*three cheers for the most unlikely plan ever!*

I kinda like Olaf... in a weird creepy way... but I think that him killing Ronnie would be AWESOME.

I love the Olaf plan...I mean from the looks of it there will be a book with more Olaf anyways. So that would be perfect.

I understand the anger at what Ronnie did but at the same time I feel it was completely neccessary. Simply for the fact that it gives us a chance to really see Nathaniel come into his own with the idea of becoming more demanding from those around him. Something I think will play a fundamental part as the series continues (you'll understand more after reading The Harlequin).

Can anyone honestly think of a human female that Anita doesn't have a problem with? (Excluding Mrs. Zebrowski and women over 50)

I actually hate Anita more than I do Ronnie. In the first books, Anita made up for her lack of personality for all the action. But now she's just turned into a whiney emo.

She kinda got on with Tammy, until she started seeing Larry.
Again, she was fine with whatsherface who fancied Nate until the cop thought she was abusing him. Arnet!
Erm... well, there was that female firefighter that died in the book where the council visited. At least I think she was the one who died.

I can only think of shifters she gets on with but you did specify human women...

Oh, Catherine! Her best friend who got duped by that cow Monica in the first book.

I just loved it when Nathaniel read her the riot act for everything she'd been doing and saying all this time. He completely puts her in her place. Way to go Nathaniel! He's coming into his own and it is so sexy and exiting and fulfilling.

it is fulfilling. Who once was naught but the perfect victim has grown quite the backbone as of the past couple books *raises an eyebrow*...he even wears an apron while tidying the house. *chuckles and shakes head* I laughed myself into a stupor wheen I first read that.

Time, and love, truely can heal.

That's exactly what I was gonna say.

Besides, I don't want Ronnie to die. I do think she's become an awful b***h at this point and hope that the character doesn't completely get ruined but I can see it coming after the Harlequin. She wasn't even in it but Anita (like Dolph suggests) really doesn't seem to interact with humans anymore. I can see why people think they're not enough for her.

As for what to do with Ronnie.. I think she and Anita both could use a good a** kicking by some random one time character. IAnita annoys me more than any other character now and the books are written in her POV. That's sad, isn't it?

yes, she has isolated herself from interacting with humans. AND because she has, important parts of her are going stagnant, her character is no longer well rounded.

She needs more to her than her monster men, whom i love, but are NOT the whole world. At least Edward is human (though scarier than some of the monsters)

Yea, I hadn't thought about the Edward thing. He seems to be the only human she really respects/looks up to/has faith in (or something) and he's more monsterous than most of the preternatural folk. Funny!

Wow! Ronnie gets worse?
I thought she was getting bad in Burnt Offerings, but then again, she had just helped Anita kill that guy with the roses...
