Over the weekend, I took my cousin to Boston for Anime Boston. We went to Chinatown and a local Japanese market and got all sorts of awesome stuff. Melon bread, mochi, calpico drinks. And Hi-Chew. OMG! Hi-Chew are so yummy! I only bought three and now I regret it because they're awesome! Everyone needs to try some hi-chew. Yummy whee

My friend's friend (getting distant there. lol) bought her back some Japanese sweets that were fish. Like little dead fish in a bag. *pulls face* I've never tried any Japanese snacks myself though, I doubt there's much custom for them here in Wales. Lol.

Meh, I got the same problem as ShadowedMoonlight-sama.
They have manga and anime stores in the big city of the Netherlands or in Belgium. Which are kind kind of far away from were I live. TT^TT
I eat pockey once, it was chocolate flavour. <333
And er .. Koala cookies, aslo chocolate flavour. Oh and I once eat a Onigiri, a chicken one.
It didn't had the form an usual Onigiri is but it was made of the same ingredients.

i like the jellies! With the fruit in them! Oh, and pocky, yan-yans, koalas, and those little choclate covered things in the tiny box. And the juice! (I have several Asian Food Centers by my house.)

D: I like these little chocolate + biscuit mushroom treats that my girlfriend found at a Korean supermarket. They're like, these little biscuits shaped sort of like peanuts with chocolate pieces shaped like mushroom caps. Like this:

They're made by Meiji foods and they're ridiculously cute. And yummy.

The only things I've ever had the chance of having are, Ramune, and Pocky, and I must say, I can get pocky at my local Wal*Mart, but I'm not sure where to find Ramune anywhere in my area. I had the pleasure of trying Ramune at my very first Anime Con, CollosalCon06, this summer.
They were very delicious. Even the boxes of pocky they had there were huge, and they had them in many different kinds and flavors, here where I live, I can only get Chocolate and Strawberry.

I got a pack of assorted rice crackers the other day. They look really nice, but I couldn't stand them! Spicy wasabi, soy sauce, and seaweed flavored crackers. Ew! I just couldn't take them and ended up throwing them out because I don't know anyone who would eat them.

i cant buy any japanese snacks here (in england) except on da net!! crying
but at da last MCM Expo (a convention mainly aimed at anime/manga fans) i brought a box of strawberry and a chocolate pocky (spelling?) THEY WERE YUMMY!!! so at da next expo (at da end of October) im gonna stock up on dem!! maybe 10 of each flavour!!! 4laugh
