Young Enchantress: Windows ME came out in September 2000, Windows 2000 came out in Christmas 1999.
One thing worth mentioning is that Windows 2000 being for businesses and power users. This made Windows NT the new Primary Series of Windows PCs after Windows 9x ended. The Enchantress said to the Narrator

Young Enchantress: You're forgetting that Windows 2000 lasted until 2010. Windows 98 lasted until 2002 while Windows 95 lasted until 2000. There was also another failed OS being Windows Vista in 2007 but like Windows ME before it, it had problems too. But while it lasted until 2017, due to its performance issues, compatibility problems, and a perceived lack of significant improvements, it was considered a bad OS that was also rushed out unfinished.
During Windows 2000, when people used Win2000, it had better stability, security, and overall performance than WinME until Windows XP came out a year later. By this time, Windows 9x had already died out and Windows NT took over as its base OS series for Windows.
