<******** words left Ares' lips. Ares brought his free hand to the damaged shoulder joint that has become a target for Lotus. Who didn't seem like he was about to stop with the cutthroat offense anytime soon.

After the kick, he’d move away from his opponent as he found himself now walking along by the ropes with his attention to the crowd, talking out loud of this being the biggest show of the year and this only being the beginning. Turning to face Ares that was nursing his arm and shoulder, GBL would motion out out front of him as if giving him the floor to make his move. Arrogance, mind games, or insanity? His reasoning was his own and a mix of all three

Stepping away and then back within inches from him. Parading around as if this is taking no effort. Ares would use his one good arm to get to a kneel, looking up with bloodshot eyes at the man who was making him seem like a joke in the early parts of this contest.

“C’mon, this is our war. Let me see some bite,” he spoke out before moving in to grab him by the head with both hands to finish pulling him up to his feet.

The taunts continued to fly, adding further insult by picking up the opponent by his face. Leaning for a moment, Ares would get to a vertical before bringing his leg back and swinging for the fences to the groin of Lotus.

Well…. s**t. A low blow from out of no where and the Eclipse found himself dropping down to his knees, the pain inflicted being rather obvious. He couldn’t deny the strike. He just basically asked for it.

The first request of the Lotus was delivered. But for those within earshot, he also asked for a bit of bite.
As Lotus crumbled to his knees, Ares would hunch over him, grabbing his head with both hands and begin to take a huge bite out of the forehead of GBL!

Oh that was not good. The god of war was going for a snack with that bite. A yell out with teeth in flesh, his retaliation would be a push to force Ares back.

Despite not sinking his teeth in that long, he heard the yell of his opponent, and that was enough for him at the moment. Eye for an eye makes everyone blind.
But Ares wasn't done, after getting shoved off, he unraveled the chain he clinged to this whole time. Not aiming to strike his kneeling opponent, but to wrap the chain around him. Getting behind him and running the chain across his throat and anything that tried to get between the chain and his throat.

The situation was getting a tad bit more worse as the chain he, for some reason, allowed Ares to keep was now against his neck and looking to choke him out. Grabbing at the chain, he found himself at a bad spot being down on his knees. He would try to get himself back on his feet to even the leverage against Ares.

Whatever the reason, Ares clung yo his lifeline and his opponent allowed it. Now both men are struggling. Ares trying to pull back as much as he can and Lotus trying to fight to his feet. As GBL began to climb, Ares would bring his left foot i to the fold of the back of GBLs left knee to bring him down to one knee. Keeping g pressure on the choke as the official would ask GBL if he wanted to quit!

Safe to say that this guy had his bite. Relentless, keeping him from getting to both of his feet, and now the ref even showing concern. GBL remained silent as he reached one hand up to try and grab Ares head, With the one foot he had planted, he'd tried to get a hold and flip Ares over in a snapmare to release this choke threatening the match.

GBL kept silent but he was moving, bringing his arm up. Ares would try his. Est to fight it for a minute and some change. But trying to keep separation and keeping a hold tight was making it harder than he could maintain.
Finally Ares slipped up and would get flipped over GBL. Not only slamming his tailbone on the mat but losing grip of his lifeline. As it would hang loosely from GBLs next and then drop to the mat between the two competitors.

After the flip and freedom, GBL would end up seated with a hand around his neck, waiting for the blood flow to properly return to the deranged mind. Looking to the chain that had been used on him, he'd start to get up to his feet as he would pick up the chain and hold both ends in his hand. Taking aim, a whipping strike with the chain aimed at Ares back. A good sting ought to make them even--

No sound could be heard but the actions spoke louder than any sound could. Once the steel had made contact with Ares back he fell to the mat, beginning to spasm on the floor. Warped and contorted in an effort to somehow ease the pain that would not leave him
