[Avari Fusion] (C) vs Tiger Hat

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The hard shot was expected, but damn did it still hurt. Avari flinched a little, before rallying back and throwing his own right hand too.

It looked like this one was going down as a brawl!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger was rocked by the return right, as expected. It hurt, but his plan was working - he had been somewhat familiar with brawls as of late, and it lured Avari away from his technical prowess, allowing a higher chance for him to slip up. Pushed back from the blow, Tiger used the step for momentum, swinging at Avari again with his right fist.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

That hard right fist came in and, this time, it look Avari down to a knee. He tried to shake off the cobwebs, but at that point he had given Tiger the initiative.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

As Avari fell to one knee, Tiger was overcome with confidence. He started swinging, aiming blows at him from above, hoping to break him down further.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari felt blow, after blow, after blow..

As the World Heavyweight Champion was struck down further and further, until he eventually was on all fours on the canvas!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger had a clear advantage over the champion, and fully intended to capitalise on it with more strikes. He would drop down, hoping to grip Avari in a front headlock. If locked in, he would aim to bring his knees up into Avari's torso, hoping to do some serious damage.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The headlock was immediately locked in and ready, and Aven felt a heavy force around his head. His face started to turn a scarlet ready, slowly but surely, until..

Smack!

A hard knee came up into his torso, knocking the wind out of his sternum. He grunted and gritted his teeth.. he was locked in for a ride here!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger felt his knee shake as it connected - the sign of a blow well struck. He clenched his teeth as he tightened his grip. He shifted his weight to the side, releasing the grip while keeping an arm hooked, hoping to push Avari onto his back for a cheeky pin attempt.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Not only was Tiger going in hard with the brawling, he maneuvered technically..

The ref was ready as Avari was turned on to his back for the pinfall..

One!

T-!

A quick turn of the shoulder, but enough that it took some more energy from the reigning Champ.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

As Avari kicked out, Tiger would use the momentum of his push to try and spin him back round, and back into the front headlock, where he could go for more knee-strikes. He was channeling an alligator more than a tiger, it seemed, and was feeling as vicious and hungry as both beasts combined.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari had to do something, and quick!

As Tiger looked to roll back into a headlock position, Fusion would move to roll with the momentum and get over to the ropes!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

It seems Avari was channeling an Australian, as he knew exactly how to counter the alligator offensive. Whether on purpose or by accident, Tiger rolled over with him to the ropes, releasing his grip as his prey got away from him.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari rolled and rolled, and kept on rolling, even with Tiger having let go.

He went under the bottom rope and onto the apron, rolling off and landing on his feet.

Breathing deeply and nursing some early wounds, he stepped back towards the barricades.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger didn't follow suit, stopping before exiting the ring. He climbed to his feet, turning his head to keep an eye on his opponent. Upon seeing him resting on the barricade - almost without thinking - he ran towards the opposite ropes, gaining momentum for his next maneuver - suicide dive through the ropes!  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

No one expected to see a Tiger flying through the air, but here we were..

Eagle vs Tiger.

Champion vs Contender.

The sound of both men crashing into the barricade was almost sickening, as Avari was caught hard and dropped to the ground.

The ref immediately leaned over the top rope and checked to make sure that both men were okay, with no immediate response from Avari.
