[Rex Kobra] vs Salem Croft (War Games Advantage)

[Undead Superstar]

The kick connected to Rex's head and he fell forward into the corner again, maneuvering so that he was facing toward the ring instead of facing the post itself.  

[Salem Croft]

The crowd was cheering loudly for "Showtime" as his kick connected, displaying his profound footwork and putting Rex back into the corner! Running to the opposite side of the ring, Salem pointed finger guns at Rex and charged in, aiming to throw his whole body into a shotgun dropkick as the fans got on their feet!

 

[Undead Superstar]

As Salem charged toward him, that primal savagery inside of Rex came alive. He burst out of the corner, aiming to catch Salem with a devastating spear instead.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem was caught off-guard by Rex's sudden surge, sending Salem back-first into the canvas with a sudden Spear from the 300-plus pounder!

 

[Undead Superstar]

Rex looked pleased after landing his signature maneuver. He stood and moved to the ropes near where his sister stood guard. They made eye contact before Rex looked back to Salem. Kobra attempted to grab Salem and drag him to his feet. If he got Salem up, he would attempt to deliver a spray of Poison Mist to Salem.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem was aching after taking such a Spear, knowing Rex was feeling ruthless in the presence of the man who he saw as rejecting Kobra's inheritance and corrupting his grandchild! Fans of "Showtime" were watching in nail-biting anxiety at what Rex was about to do! But as Rex lifted the "Copperhead Cowboy" off the mat, Salem would snap free from the Kobra's grip - going for his signature Mic Drop - a pump kick aimed to knock Rex's chin off!

 

[Undead Superstar]

The Kick connected and Kobra's head shot back, sending the Mist spraying up like a geyser. Unfortunately for the ref, the spay fell into his eyes and blinded him instead of Rex's intended target. The ref moved away from the action, trying to clear his eyes as Rex was dazed from the maneuver.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem had avoided certain disaster from the blinding mist, but it wasn't enough to bring the big man down! Realizing he had an opportunity to end the match, "Showtime" would spring up for his finishing Cutter, the "C.O.D.", on the staggered snake, aiming to put him down for the count!

 

[Undead Superstar]

Rex was laid out from the Cutter, leaving him dazed on the mat. As he hit the mat, Ramona climbed up on the apron, to demand Salem's attention, seeking to delay him from going for the pinfall. At least long enough for her brother to stir.  

[Salem Croft]

As Salem went for the cover, he took notice of the blinded referee, still struggling to see what was happening! Getting up to try and help the official, it was then that "Showtime" took notice of Ramona, his child's aunt, trying to get his attention! Shaking his head, Salem turned to the woman and protested her presence, gesturing behind him at the scene taking place and inquiring what she was doing!

 

[Undead Superstar]

Ramona stayed on the apron and stared. Her eyes focused on him. There was a look there. Confliction. She had to make sure her high priest was victorious but Salem was family. And Rex had always preached about the importance of family. She stared at Salem, remaining still, like her gaze was going to bore a hole through man as she waited for her brother to start stirring from the mat.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem waved at Ramona, perplexed by her sudden freeze-up, trying to get her attention and urge her out of harm's way. While it was true she was Rex's sister, Salem always felt like Ramona wasn't like her father entirely, a couple times he'd even found gifts left from her for Kyra, despite their family feud. Pleading with her to get down, Salem finally turned around to put his attention back to the point at hand!

 

[Undead Superstar]

Ramona lowered herself from that apron. Thankfully her distraction did prove enough for as Salem turned around, he would be met by an upright Rex who would immediately attempt the grab him by the throat and chokeslam him violently with the Kobra Slam.  

[Salem Croft]

If not for the referee being disabled and Ramona interjecting, Salem could've had the match wrapped up! But he'd taken too long trying to get Ramona clear, and turned right into a giant chokeslam that drove his body hard into the canvas, the fans booing at the blatant interference!

 

[Undead Superstar]

Rex looked at the ref who was just about done clearing his eyes. He looked down at Salem. He would reach down, aiming to grab Salem by the throat and pull him back to his feet. If he managed it he would attempt to lift Salem to hit him with another Kobra Slam while he was waiting for the ref to be ready.
