The baron shrieked as he was dropped to the ground and ordered to talk as the sheriff went to grab his sword one of arthurs knights pulled him down to his own knees with a sword at his throat the sheirff glared up at the boy,"You stupid child", he spat,"You dont know how the world works yet boy"; The baron gulped,"You can take anything you want here", he threw jewels off him as if he was loaded with them,"I dont know anything about the women and children.. I thought they were brought here looking for work i swear", he began to tremble knowing he was in deep water; as the caravan made it to the back the drivers went to check the back and noticed all the women where missing,"WHERE THEY GO!", said the driver to his companion as the two bega to argue and then fight each other knowing they would get in trouble if the assets weren't found; Gwyn almost made it out of the village only to be stopped by the gate by guards,"Hey wench! you shouldn't be walking about like that it means trouble..", he laughed as she tried to wiggle her hand free, keeping her head down; they began to toss her around as she kneeded one of them, trying to get an escape they got angry and one of them struck her across the face knocking her to the ground she lay there for a moment wiping the blood from her mouth and nose,"Know your place you stupid b*tch", said the man he pulled her up by her arm and brought her face to view as she glared at him spitting in his face; She was kneed in the gut and then thrown on the ground as they began to kick her,"stupid b*tch you deserved to be stoned your wh*re", she took the beating hopefully they leave her soon and then she could head back home get out of this place... if she killed them here she would have an angry mob on her;

Gwyn looked up towards the clad figure as it approached the sight of the figure seemed familiar but her vision was bluring,"Thank you..", she managed to whispered before getting up and slinking off away into the shadows she didnt get far before slipping behind a building sitting down and allowing herself a small rest she was sore all over and tired bruised and beated she caught her breathe it was a long way to the country house on the edge of the woods but she had to get home her people needed her; finally getting up she began to limp down the dirt road on her way home;

The baron was terrified as he was taken to his own dungeons and the sheriff was brought outside as a group of angry villages approached with pitchforks and fire,"we demand justice!!!", they shouted in unison as some of the women who escaped earlier were amongst them clinging to their husband their brothers crying in outrage; The man knew his fate and began to turn to arthur as he was dragged outside,"You have sent me to death are you no better than myself boy", he laughed alittle bitterly as he was taken outside to face the wrath of the people;

The people took up the sheriff and done away with him his dying screams as they tore him into pieces and beat him to death could be heard as the people got the 'justice' they deserved the liberation was on the role many of the knights there followed Arthur the others hid in the shadows fearful for there lives and their sins; The setting sun and the sound of the hooves of a hundred horsemen could be heard on the dirt road leading out of the village by the time a bruised and tired gwen was barely making by getting to the outskirts of her woods; She stumbled through the leaf litter feeling for the trees and settling down by a large oak tree on the edge of the road; She heard the horse hooves she thought maybe they found her and where going to kill her... how the great phantom had fallen she was a foolish little girl wasn't she? she thought to herself feeling for the knife in her pouch she slipped it into her hand closing her eyes she waited;

Gwyn waited for the stopping of the horses the whine the slowing of hooves but non happened they all flew past her to busy to worry about her or kill her... opening her eyes she sent a prayer of thanks to the goddess and pulled herself up disappearing into the woods....
It had been about a month since Arthur's liberation on the town and gwyn would watch him from the shadows she was tired of watching her people starve they stopped trusting the town after there leader was beat... Finally after many weeks the night of a full moon was seen; Gwen had no choice it was either join forces with this Arthur pendragon or watch the suffering of her people.. there was many protest but eventually she had to do what was right for her people; since his arrival if she seen him or any of his knights with a caravan of gold she told her men not to attack it was to risky she wasn't sure what that blade was or if he contained special powers but she had to know the truth; Wearing a cloak and hood she stood at the edge of the woods finally making her way through town; The odd appearance and the strange tribal staff was off putting for the people and they hid in there homes, guards approached though not aggressive more confused,"take me to arthur pendragon", they both looked concerned but nodded as she followed after them in the darkness of the night;

"Yes we do meet again Pendragon", said gwen as she removed her hood; She sat her staff to the stone wall and looked up at him with sad grey eyes; though a striking beauty it wouldn't do her a bit of good in a situation in front of a self righteous like arthur himself,"I've come for a truce...", she said inhaling through her nose slowly before let out a soft sigh,"arthur my people are dying.. before the foreigners came here years ago.. and took over the country we were our own people our own culture and language but when we were forced to learn Christianity we went into hiding.... we have been living like animals in the woods fearful for our own lives and our well being and now.. i watch them starve.... every day I there leader.. and its my fault", she lowered her head not willing to show him the tears that were starting in her eyes,"We were barely surviving before you came but now that your here.. we.. can't do anything...."; She managed to lift her head findig the courage to look him straight in the eye,"I can no longer fight without losing lives my only option is to this..", she humbly got onto her knees and exstended herself forward into a bow before his feet,"Take me as a peace offering to my people I can serve you and yours here.. and In exchange allow them to live there lives.. without fear of persecution without fear of death and starvation";

He did not make her grovel or feel embarrassed for doing so she calmly picked herself off the ground watch as he told Mordred to go and gather food and warm blankets and was asked her name smiling she followed with him through town taking her walking stick with her,"Its Gwenhwyfar... but most of my closest friends and family call me gwen", she told him,"When you have lived in hiding your whole life you do not get to opportunity to be blessed with the expectations of kindness or happiness", she told him looking at the village as they walked,"Ive watched from afar..", she confessed,"Ive seen the improvements but why are you bothering doing this?", she asked turning to him with a questiong look,"When the world could turn its back upon you and watch you burn... when people could do wrong by you why do right be them? I do not understand...", she told him;

Gwen felt sympathy toward him and reached out to gently pat his shoulder,"Yes.. I can see it now.. the suffering behind your gaze its truer than words can fathom", she looked around her frownin,"If you could promise my people freedom from religious persecution then I can see if we can join forces with you and your knights to protect this place.... this is our home to and so far the peace is being held but my people are starving they fear going out because of what they think of us.. they call us hethens animals we are not this we only seem this way to most because they do not understand what situation we have been forced into";
