51-75. The healer looks at your wound and starts trying to patch you up. They're not being particularly gentle on you, but you can tell they're quite invested in making sure your wound (or your dragons) heals right! Unfortunately, that's going to take some time. Return Request Denied! Regain +5 HP but re-roll from the Healers Grid! You still haven't been given clearance to return!
Lunamichith creeled as she landed in the bowl, head drooping, pride and sunniness eclipsed by pain. The healers rushed towards her, and Senara realised that she had sustained some minor scores of her own. She waved off their attentions at first, casting a worried eye over her poor dragon's scored body.
They began to work- slathering layers of redwort and numbweed to stave off pain and infection. There was no gentleness in their touch, but Luna did not seem to care in that moment. The sooner the pain was eased, the better, in Sen's opinion.

90-99. You're in luck! The wound isn't as bad as first feared. They're able to see to you almost immediately, and are able to quickly get you patched up and on your way. The Weyrhealers are effective and quite efficient! You May Return to Your Wing! Full HP Returned if White! +20 HP for Greens! +25 HP for Blues! +30 HP for Browns! +35 HP for Bronzes and Golds! The minutes passed quickly, with many hands making light work of Luna's wounds. Eventually Senara consented to have her own face and arms checked, and the smears of numbweed and redwort did help soothe her own fractious mind. Not much longer now, my sweet. We'll fight again very shortly.
Good. The green rumbled, a note of vicious desire in her voice.
FLAME'S FURY Karinne of Blue Hrimnith HP: 19/30 Status Effect: (Save Held) XP: Target Accuracy: 4 Flame Length: 4 [+1] General Stamina: 9 General Agility: 4 Between Accuracy: 7 [+1] Pain Resilience: 7 [+1] Instinct: 7 Luck: 7 [+1]

The healers patch you and/or your dragon back with relative ease. They lather you in redwort, and actually make quick work of the wounds on hand. You May Return to Your Wing! If White return with +8 HP! If Green return with +12 HP total! If Blue return with +15 HP total! If Brown return with +18 HP total! If bronze return with +24 HP total! If Gold return with +28 HP total! Status Effect Removed!
Fortunately, Hrimnith and Karinne wouldn't spend much time in the Bowl - just long enough for the blue to be patched up and for the woman to wonder after her Weyrmate and look off longingly towards the creche where precious little lives were hopefully none the wiser to the dangers outside.

There was only a little more patching to do before both girl and green could hit the skies again - it was clear that because of Alenciath's young age the healers were being a little extra careful with her. Not that Fahn minded that - this was her baby, after all, and she'd rather have her well.
Once that was done, however, she was eager to be up and flaming again.

Edalla had Moilath land gently in the bowl, knowing they both had sustained some damage. The healers were quick at coming right over, watching as they put some redwort on Moilath and then herself. They had them wrapped up and ready to return in short order.
Okay, I think we are ready. And thank you for getting looked at too, Mine,Moilath spoke to her rider. She pushed off from the ground as soon as they were given clearance and then went Between, back to their wing.
Mid Altitude (Hour 1/Round 1) Missed
Mid Altitude (Hour 1/Round 2) 1) 16. The wind is fierce and fighting you. Greens, and blues will struggle against it, trying valiantly to keep in formation! [+1 Stamina] Browns and Bronzes can feel the strain, but it's nothing they can't seem to handle. [+3 Stamina] 2) 11. The wind is rough, but you and your dragon are managing. You get a breather as your dragon flies into a small break of Threadfall. The upper altitudes must be doing a good job sweeping up! 3) 4. You're so focused on flaming Thread that you miss a clump of thread blows up on the wind -- beneath you! If a greeen, or blue, you manage to jump Between ahead of it. Thankfully, your smaller size means you're able to avoid getting harmed! [+1 Between Accuracy] If a brown or bronze, your heavier size does cause your tail to get caught! [+1 Between Accuracy & Minor Damage - 2 HP!] 4) 5. Wheeling, flaming, catching thermals, fighting wind.... Threadfall is nothing if not exhausting. Greens, and blues find themselves panting with exhaustion. This is more tiring than they thought. Trying to come up from a dive, they struggle on wing and wind up getting blown right into some thread. Ouch! [+1 Stamina, Moderate Damage -4 HP ] Browns and bronzes aren't having quite as bad a time, their stamina having always been programmed to be a bit more hearty. [+3 Stamina] 5) 18. Thread falls, and a sneaky strand winds up chewing on your wingsail. You pop Between to ease the pain, and come out flaming. It hurts, but it's small tubers compared to what it could have been! +1 Pain Resilience]

Low Altitude (Hour 2/Round 1) 1) 12. By Faranth! You and your dragon pull off a pretty awesome move to catch some Thread that's fallen through. You're able to save one of your Wingmates! Both you and your dragon start to feel more confident, and even start to get a bit cocky. Low Altitude Wing was always the easiest wing to fly. Unfortunately for you.... Roll a D4! 4- Appear from Between directly into a clump of Thread. There is no avoiding the tangles, and you and your dragon are scored in multiple areas. [Major Damage -8 HP!] 4) (at the healers) 42. 36-50. The healers patch you and/or your dragon back with relative ease. They lather you in redwort, and actually make quick work of the wounds on hand. Sweet Symmetry
Killakeeth burst from between and bugled for attention. Not that a gold as large as her needed to call extra attention. She just felt it never hurt to alert the healers. She fanned her wings to bring herself and her cargo down as gently as possible, yet quickly.
Moments later, with the gold landed, Vosin unbuckled to help Senara from her dragon's back and down the large gold. Killakeeth waited until the riders were clear and gingerly slid the unconscious green to the ground and the waiting healers.
Vosin patted the girl's shoulder reassuringly before mounting back up. It was quick and wasn't long before they were back in the fray.

Damage tracker: 1. Aspalath Thread scored across left shoulder and wing base. Erastan's leg also more lightly scored. 8 Damage. 2. Aspalath thread scored across his stomach and inside of his two back legs.
Aspalath landed unsteadily given the state of his underbelly and legs. This was not at all surprising. Flinging off the straps and using his dragons larger frame to steady himself Erastan slid down to meet the healers. The teenager felt a pang constrict his heart looking over his beloved. Covered on blood and the ash. I'm okay. I can still stand and fight. Asapalth tried to reassure but Erastan just shook his head. "Please help him"
The healer set to work and even after just cleaning up the wounds they started to look better. They were also quick to apply pain relief to both rider and dragon which they were grateful for but it would take a moment longer to patch them back up again and they were held on the ground.

Aspalath was not any keener on being crowded than normal. And Erastan flinched to see anyone else with their hands on his beloved blue but he kept one hand on his hide and soothed them both with wordless assurance.
Luckily the healers worked fast. None of the wounds turned out to be that deep. Once the bleeding was taken care of and the pain greatly diminished they were cleared to take to the skies again.

Tianxiath landed a bit less gracefully than he'd liked, and Aerden was quick to point out the injury to both his chest and wing. The healer frowned mightily over the large score, choosing that injury to start with. Though it was a nasty wound, it was nothing that wouldn't heal with careful treatment and rest. Tianxiath held himself steadily, but Aerden could feel his mental flinches as he was poked and prodded at.

The healer requested for Tianxiath to extend his wing, and the blue did so slowly. The pulled muscle was clearly tender... but was it something more serious than just a tweak? Aerden's expression gave nothing away, but he was worried for his dragon.

Aerden caught the shake of the man's head and felt his stomach clench with anticipation. Maybe he simply hasn't had the chance to examine such a fine specimen. Tianxiath attempted to soothe his stoic rider. Despite his hurts, he was just fine with standing here and not doing much!

"I don't like the heat coming off of the muscle here here." The healer explained, gesturing to the area in question. "Young as he is, he could do some real damage if he puts much more strain on it. With that and the score he has, I'm keeping him grounded. Rest him for two hours. We'll check that wing again and see if you can go up."
Aerden certainly wasn't going to argue with that, and Tianxiath was happy for an excuse to lounge about for a while! Sliding from his straps, Aerden wearily pet his dragon's muzzle. "I'm sorry." He said quietly. "I hesitated up there..." And while he had wanted to take the blow for their wingmates, it wasn't entirely his decision, was it?
The blue exhaled softly against him, his eyes whirling a deep purple. I forgive you. A man has to have a few scars, anyway.

As they arrived, Rhodonth landed gracefully and V'ime slid off to let the healers take a look at her shoulder and wing. She stretched it a few times with a grimace and the Healers set to work doing what they did best, getting some numbweed on it and massaging the twinged areas a bit.

"Keep an eye on that," one of the Healers said as V'ime climbed back up into the saddle, hooking himself in place. "Nothing but time will heal a strain. Keep her flying easy, she'll see it through to the end."
V'ime gave a nod and with a silent word between them, the pair rose back to the sky to return to their position.

Turoth landed heavily as he returned to the Weyrbowl and Ar'ad hung on tight as the healers began their work. It would take less time for him to remain where he was than get off and then back on, and since no wounds were around him he didn't feel the need to take off the saddle completely.
