Moving through the streets of Konohagakure, Kōjin found himself at the Hokage's Mansion. Breathing in deeply he pulled a cigarette from his bag and proceeded to light it as he made his way towards the steps. Why must all these formalities be done when they are so useless Kōjin thought as he looked around. Heading up the steps he took one final drag of his smoke and flicked the bud away as he walked into the building. It was massive inside and decorated decently to some taste but none the less he truly didn't care much about all this. Making his way towards the Hokage's office he saw that he wasn't the only person here. sighing rather loudly he found himself a chair and took a seat. Guess he would have to wait his turn it would seem though truthfully he was glad he had to wait. His nerves were beginning to get the best of him as the cigarette from earlier didn't help like it normally would. Closing his eyes he began to breath and try to relax himself as he waited to be called into the office.

tabRuffling through her notes Lahlil would see a little black seal on the corner on her desk would turn to a bright shade of pink, alerting her that there was somebody who needed her attention. Looking up through her open door, the Hokage gave an excited wave to welcome the young genin in. "Oh, hello! Come on in! Sorry if I kept you waiting long I've noticed I've tended to lose track of time a lot lately. Anyway, you are... Kojin right?!" Hand slinging under the table, Lahlil would activate her sealed chakra trap the moment the genin would step into her office. Hundreds of confetti bits along with a single congratulations balloon were ready to fall at a seconds notice. Barely managing to hold in her excitement, Lahlil held out a headband from her large storage box along with a plain white note in between the cloth and the metal. "Your headband! Along with your first mission! I know you won't let me down Kojin!"

Adrielle walked through the streets of Konohagakure, it was beautiful; it was a different kind of beauty though. She watched for a moment before seeing the Kages mansion in the distance. She approached and looked at the building, fit for the ruler of the village. She took a step on the stairs and wondered what it would be like to be in a village, she always advocated for her own freedom; but now she stood in a village.
High walls and confined.
Though she always advocated for freedom with that freedom came a loneliness that she just couldn’t shake. She always had her girls and the patrons but on her own she had no one. On the inside, she wanted companionship... one that neither person had to pay for. She placed her hands together and sent chakra surging through her skin, if she was going to make a first impression... she was going to make sure that it was a beautiful one.

Kōjin heard the woman talk and his eye snapped open before he stood. Shrugging he made his way into the office moving past the woman that was already there, entering the office before he was struck by a unsettling amount of confetti and even a balloon. Brushing the confetti off of his face he made his way to her desk and took the headband. He would quickly wrap it around his arm before taking the mission paperwork and nodding. "Thank you Hokage-sama. I will make you proud." With that the young genin would give another nod and turn to exit, not even waiting this time til he was outside to light another smoke. With a long drag and a loud sigh he began to make his way to the academy. All that continued to run through his head was "Really confetti. This is gonna take me weeks to get off of my clothes... oh well... Exiting the office he dashed off tossing the cigarette to the side.

tabPursing her lips together Lahlil pouted at the genin's serious reaction. Didn't he know that it took a lot of work to set that up! Juei recommendation it is. Sadayo always was better with the down to earth types. Nodding in farewell to the boy Lahlil kicked her feet while waiting patiently for the next young one to come prancing through her her office, and from the looks of it that was going to come sooner than anyone expected.
From out the corner of her ear Lahlil could hear the voice of one of the shinobi standing watch while her secretary Gado was off on business. "O-oh uhhm hello.. yes the Hokage is just right through those doors if you.." Wondering just who could cause her supposed Jounin into a fumbling mess Lahlil looked out hoping to catch a glimpse of her mysterious visitor, and a glimpse she did. It was easy to see just why the man in the hallway was so easily smitten as the girl standing there was almost unreasonably beautiful. From her smooth supple skin to of pair striking eyes, with appearance alone she was enough to make Lahlil straighten her back and run a hand through her disheveled hair as she felt a tinge of shame at the mess she carried herself in. "Yes hello! Right in here." Finishing up her fussing Lahlil waved the woman in. "It's wonderful to meet you! I am Lahlil Nevarra, the acting Hokage here. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Adrielle watched at the blushed hair colored woman summoned the scrolls, she was amazed by it. She knew that she might have a chance of getting a long way in this village if Adrielle would just give herself a chance “ Who controls my freedom after I sign it? I just came from a place with no freedoms at all, I’m not looking to be trapped again. “ She thought about the place that she came from and disposed to think that once again she would be under someone’s control to only fulfill thier desires “ I want to but I need to know that I wont just be a captive with the illusion of freedom. “

tabLahlil blushed further as Adrielle grabbed both of her hands. She certainly was a forward type of woman, a troubling combination when one considered how obviously beautiful she was. Instinctively the Kage was only able to hold eye contact for a moment before looking away, fingers pretending to trace along the unintelligible words on the scroll as they searched for any possible excuse to keep her distracted. Not seeming weak was a hard game to play. "I think that... I know something like that yes. I spent most of my young childhood in such a situation." Before she continued Lahlil took a pause both to collect and choose her next words with care. "So allow me to assure you that this will be nothing of the sort! Obviously there has to be some rules during your stay, but as long as your freedoms do not involve harming others peaceful lives you are more than welcome to all of our village resources!"

Adrielle signed the scroll and looked at the Hokage “ Thank You for your time. “ She smiled and walked through the entry of the office, she briefly turned and looked behind her “ I’m sure that we’ll meet again. “
Byakko rode on top of Byakko as the two arrived at the central entrance to the kage's building. By now the ANBU would be aware of the rogue's presence, which meant that he did not have time to relax. The man dismounted the tiger and gently opened the door. A lit cigarette was in his mouth as he moved toward Lalhil's desk. "Hey there good looking! Miss me?" He said with a playful wink. His voice seemed far less strained than how Lalhil would have recognized it prior. The tiger brushed against him as he looked and roared at the kage. Despite his outward threat, however, he had no interest in harming the woman. The kage was nothing but respectful and a proud warrior. Still, the tiger was aligned with the goal of his human counterpart, which meant that he would do his part to ensure that negotiations did not become a battle of dominance.
tabThe choking agent of cigarettes hit her nose before anything else, alerting Lahlil that there was another seeking the attention of the kage. Ah well looks like my work is nev- ...oh. Mid thought Lahlil gazed upward with mild surprise as she instantly recognized the man's face and voice. Even if she hadn't there weren't very many people she knew in the world who carried in the company of large white tigers. What Lahlil could not for the life of her understand however, was just why Kazuto would show up now just to speak so candidly to her. Especially after the way things were left after his departure. Without addressing his comment Lahlil spoke in a polite yet cool manner. "You know you're lucky that Director Soga isn't currently in the village as I suspect she would have stern questions for you." Dark lavender eyes sat searched deeply into the man's own as they hunted for any trace of intent to do harm. "Director?! Oh now I definitely have to make this meeting brief." He said with a slight chuckle. Sadayo Soga was a ninja who he definitely did not want to be on the bad side of. Her mastery over puppetry was something he knew would be incredibly taxing to fight. Even with the power of the demon within him and his tiger, it was still not a fight which he wanted to engage in. Still, he couldn't help but get slightly lost in the eyes of the lovely hokage. Her lavender hues reminded him of the timid leader who led her people so brazenly from ruin. He remembered all of the admiration he held for the woman as she exposed herself to harm in order to save her people. His mind slipped further down memory lane until a voice echoed in his head.
"Ancient Fool! She's using you."
Lalhil's venture into his memories were suddently cut off by a giant mouth which chomped away the visuals. The mind reading vision would allow Lalhil to pan out and see the entirety of the eight tailed demon which glowed with sinister, crimson chakra. His white eyes scowled in fury as someone dared to enter the domain of the mind. "I should destroy this intruder." The demon growled as his mouth opened. Just before the chakra was generated, another echo radiated in the sanctuary of his mind. "Hold on big guy. We don't need to make an enemy of one of the strongest ninja in the world. Especially since she knows how to seal you away for good." Byakko's words echoed through his mind. Accidentally, however, his own thoughts would allow Lalhil to detect his real name, rather than the alias Kazuto Sakuraba.
As Byakko returned to the real world to focus on Lalhil, a smile crossed his face once more. "I have no intentions of hiding anything my lady. After all, I am an honest man." He lied with a smirk. "Why I came here, however, is no laughing matter. How well has Konoha been keeping track of Kogarashi?" He asked sternly. His entire expression became dire with the change of his language. He figured that Lalhil would not give him the full truth, but even if she had eyes in the village, he doubted that she would know exactly what was going on with the new rogue group.
Jyn entered the office with an odd gait, still sore from the mission earlier that week. They knocked and waited a moment before entering. Jyn ducked their head in a respectful way to both Byakko and Lahlil before speaking. "Greetings. I am feeling a little lost after what happened with Kikan. I want to know if there is anything I can do to redeem myself for the shortcomings of the mission." The tone was strangely light for the sentiment, though Jyn's downfallen expression made it evident that they took the perceived failure hard.

tabSeeing the chomp of the eight tails was enough to shock her, though it was a shock not shown on her face. She'd like to believe it was because she was getting good at it while in reality it was only because she mimicked Sadayo's expressions. Letting herself fade back into the real world Lahlil found herself only able to sigh, not in disappointment or anger, but just the confuddled mess of her emotions. She knew what she should do is attempt to apprehend this...Byakko as an enemy of the village, except right in the middle of innocent citizens was the last place she wanted to fight.
